The best quality of food we found in Tiruvannamalai. And we tried many places. It is a roof top restaurant on top of a guest house. The food is outstanding. Made with love.

We were driving back from Pondicherry, hungry and thirsty, looking for a good peaceful stop to eat and viola! We found this amazing place called inner child restaurant on google search. It is around two three kms deviation from the highway and the place is worth the stop. Despite being a vegetarian restaurant, the food is cleanly and delicately prepared bearing in mind the food quality, taste and the quality that is served. They bake delicious breads, make tasty burgers and salad is my favourite.thank you Prem for amazing service. I’ll ensure that I visit this place again and again. Regards, Romi and Chandan ❤️🌼

I was one of the first people to be there at the opening of this restaurant as I was staying nearby. Prem the owner is a real entrepreneur and has accommodation adjacent to the restaurant. The food here is excellent. Every meal I had was top notch, and Prem's attention to detail was amazing. Prem will listen to the customer and takes on all feedback. I found the prices to be a lot more reasonable than other western type venues like the Dream Tree, which was a lot more expensive. The restaurant has a great view of the holy mountain and its on the top floor. Try it honestly, I've spent a month in Tiru and this is the best food I had at a reasonable cost. There is also an outdoor Pizza oven! Prem can also arrange money exchange/euros/dollars, and bike hire, laundry, sim cards etc. Worth a visit even to network in Tiru.

The most amazing restaurant in town. You will not find fresher and better prepared yummies anywhere, and the price is decent too. The host Prem is a wonderful person. The view is amazing as well, and the layout really cozy. I could eat here every day (and did, pretty much ;)).

Nice rooftop restaunt with a view of Arunachala. They make a great müsli serves with curd and honey gives a good start of the day.

Lovely place to stay or have a tasty snack/meal at the restaurant. The hosts are very friendly and the place is very clean. The neighborhood unfortunately isn't too clean. But the proximity to important places like Ramana ashram makes it a worthwhile place to visit. One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant is on the third floor and the building doesn't feature an elevator. That withstanding, I would highly recommend the place.

This new restaurant in Tiruvannamalai is a great place to have breakfast all day long (as well as western and indian food), to chill, to meet new people and to enjoy a direct and super close view on the sacred mountain, Arunachala. The owner Prem is very friendly and does his best to satisfy his customers. I highly recommend!

Was here during Covid. Thought it would be quiet, but there were people cutting stone in a plot nearby. Was too noisy and I had to move inside the ashram. I was able to make coffee and noodles in my room... restaurant is vegetarian, but Prem sometimes brings meat and eats it there. That was upsetting as you can't call yourself a pure veg place and do such things.

I loved having my breakfast there! Delicious fruits, amazing view and such a cosy place! The family who runs the place i very kind!

It‘s a place to feel comfortable and chill while enjoying delicious fresh food. I enjoyed the porridge, smoothie bowl, rice wrap, and the Arunachala bliss bowl. On top of that you get a great view of Arunachala hill and even a selection of books to read.

Food was delicious and people serving the food are so calm and friendly - very welcoming place with roof top views. Toilets are also well maintained. Thank you Inner Child for serving us 🙏

Inner Child is one of the best places to stay in Thiruvannamalai. I got more than what I expected: a fast Wifi, 2 neat bedrooms, excellent bathrooms + living room and timely help from the host (Mr Prem). I'd call Mr Prem an amazing host and he has given attention to detail is building Inner Child.

Beautiful serene light and airy rooftop restaurant ( covered with screens so no mosquitos) with a gorgeous view of the mountain. The menu has a lot of healthy choices and the dishes are prepared with love by the very friendly and attentive Prem and his staff. I've come here very often during my 2 month stay!

On our way around Mt Arunchala, we came across The Inner Child restaurant. It turned up to be a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is placed on the top of the building with a fantastic view, e.g to the top of Mt. Arunchala. We tried several starters and main dishes and they were all freshly cooked and tasted deliciously. Very good value for the money.

It has a really relaxed atmosphere. Super friendly owners, Prem and Kumari. She writes amazing Tamil poetry. Juices and smoothies are really good, as well as the salads ( big ones!). Tiru favourite!

Delicious food, value for money very good compared to other western places. I got roast pumpkin and other veggies, and it was delicious. Home made bread also yummy. Staff very friendly. Forgot to take a pic at the start of my dish, it looked very nice when it was served.

One of the best places in Tiruvannamalai to eat and spend some time contemplating Arunachala or working. Regarding work it has a fast wifi signal and westerner electrical sockets next to every table.
