Joseph's happened to be our last place we stopped when looking for a local jeweler to make our engagement ring. I went to Joseph’s Jewelry for the first time this past week and was immediately greeted by three smiling faces. I brought my set of wedding bands and engagement ring in to be sized and soldered together. It was hard to leave them behind but I was assured that they would be ready in 5-7 days. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call two days later that they were done. When I got there and saw the ring I was blown away with the end result. It’s gorgeous. The fit is perfect too. I am completely satisfied and hope my husband (hint hint) makes Joseph’s Jewelry his go to shopping store for holidays and special occasions.

I’ve been in the antique jewelry business for 40 years in Florida and Maine. My jeweler for decades passed away a few years ago and I haven’t been that happy with the few others I’ve tried for repairs, appraisals etc. I tried Joseph’s a few weeks ago for several different things I needed. Stone setting, rhodium plating, soldering high end sterling pieces and an appraisal. They did a beautiful job on all of it and their prices were actually a little less expensive than I had been charged in the past! I will not hesitate to use them again.

I never imagined how pleasant of an experience shopping for a ring would be. Joseph’s jewelry store was the second jeweler I visited while shopping for an engagement ring for my girlfriend, but it was the only one I needed. Right when I entered I was greeted by a friendly staff and personally taken care of by the owner himself. We made some nice small talk and he asked about my girlfriend’s tastes and personality, then immediately had her style pinpointed. When I was settled on “the one”, I anticipated the inevitable pain in my wallet, but the ring was too perfect to pass up on. While I was grimacing at the price tag, Joseph whipped out his calculator and worked some magic. The price was way better than I imagined possible, almost too good to be true. Except Joseph even trusted me to walk outside of the store to see the ring in the sunlight. The quality was unquestionably that of a real diamond, with bright white brilliance and no fog. I went home with a clear conscience and the perfect engagement ring. Some days later, I got the resounding “yes” from my now fiancé. We went back to Joseph’s together and were received with smiles and congratulations. Brendan then got my lady’s ring fitted perfectly and returned to her in less than 24 hours! My grandmother and I went here to have three topaz stones made into a necklace and earrings. They have amazing customer service and excellent employees working there who know exactly what they are doing. They took their time to pick the right basket to place each stone in and it turned out beautifully. I will definitely be coming here again.

I was looking for a rope chain and they helped me find the one I wanted, They were very patient with me while I tried on different necklaces and they gave me a great price and the even sized it for me. For now on I will be buying all my jewelry from them!

Had my 7mm curb link gold chain repaired here due to a broken clasp. Replaced the clasp and soldered all connecting pieces. They also cleaned the chain. Great and timely service, would recommend to anybody looking for new jewelry and/ or repair.

Chose this store to change the batteries in 3 watches. Unfortunately only one of the 3 was done satisfactory. The glass on one watch that had the battery replaced fogged up. Another could not be done at all. Went to a watch repair down the road and they were able to get the watches working properly. The watch that fogged up after getting battery replaced had a broken O ring done at Joseph’s . The watch that could not be repaired at the jewelers was able to be completed at different shop. Joseph’s is a lovely jewelry store but would not use them for watch repairs. In my opinion they should have indicated up front this was not one of their specialties.

1st visit - pendant/necklace and earrings, 2nd visit - diamond/ruby ring. both times asked for suggestions, agreed with recommendation, and both times very pleased recipient. I trust B. Murphy/staff suggestions and prices to make me look good. Will only go there for Fine Jewelry.

Great service. Beautiful shop. Dropped off two necklaces and a ring for repair. Picked them up the next day. Not only are they repaired but they are sparkly clean! I brought my 84 year old mother to have some repairs made. The staff were polite and helpful. However none of the employees was wearing face masks to help protect their customers, or themselves. Considering that most purchases involve a lot of close verbal interaction, I can’t recommend going to this store right now.

Not only that, but my ring will be resized on site within a couple days, whereas your typical chain would take weeks at a time.
