Ordered two pizzas for pickup on Friday May 8th 2020, one large blue special and a small cheese. Over priced at $40.00. Got pizzas home after only a short drive, ice cold. Pick up was on time. Pizzas were awful. I wanted to help local businesses, but this place is not doing right by it’s costumers. My advice go elsewhere.

We love our neighborhood spot and It has become a quick fave for sure! We usually do takeout but the last couple of times have dined in and neither experience has disappointed! My hubs of course got his favorite meatball ricotta pizza and was served up with warm crusty rolls and a delicious garlic oil. I chose the beet and mozzarella salad which was amazing, I added some ricotta on top and freshly ground cracked pepper pushed it over the top! Everything was super fresh and so delicious! Our waitress Kat was awesome and attentive even the boss man himself came out and chatted with us for quite a bit which was fun! This all really made for a perfect, midweek date night! 👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Unexpected surprise!! I actually stopped by the açaí bowl restaurant next to Frankie’s and after seeing the menu I decided to check this place out instead. I got a few slices of pizza and let me tell you.. this crust is crispy and amazing with the right amount of sauce and cheese. It came out piping hot and freshly baked. I will definitely be coming here anytime I want pizza! 2nd review: We decided to have dinner here last night and again everything was delicious. They bread and dipping oil is the best I’ve ever had, and the amazing appetizer lives up to its name. Best authentic Italian food you’ll find around here. We sat in the lovely outdoor seating and they were super accommodating and sweet to our dog. Thank you again!!

Showed up on a Friday night and was able to get a seat immediately. The staff was very attentive and maintained a family atmosphere; I loved that. It was really like being at you family’s house. The service was pretty much on top of everything. I really appreciate how much consideration they had for all of their patrons, not just use. The staff in general was very friendly and their main focus is the guests. The food from top to bottom on my end was a hit! I loved the bread and oil that they served; I could definitely tell that the olive oil they used is of great quality. Mix that with the fresh baked bread and you’re in for a treat. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it did not disappoint. The pasta was cooked to perfection and they hit it with some real old fashioned gravy. The chicken was tender and juicy and the breading was not to thick, yet complimentary to the dish as a whole. 5 stars from me.

I met a friend halfway between Jupiter & Boca Raton, in which we chose Café Frankie’s. Neither of us had ever been there. There was such a warm welcome from Dawn Marie who has been there for quite a while and was an amazing part of our experience here at Café Frankie’s. The owners, 2 brothers came out to meet us and made the experience amazing. I felt like a Queen. The food was amazing. I had the special, which I forgot what they called it. It was linguine which I switched to angel hair and one meatball, one rib, and one sausage In a Pomodoro sauce. It came with salad which their house dressing is amazing. And my friend had the gnocchi In a Bolognese sauce also with the salad and house dressing. We were both so pleased with this experience that I had to review this restaurant so everybody knows its a go to and a wonderful experience.

    Great pizza n Italian food!

  • 2/5 Horple S. 1 year ago on Google
Honestly, their pizza was much better before the change in management. I've gotten it 4 or 5 times since, and the pizzas have been overcooked and super dry, not enough cheese, and the quality of the ingredients is just noticeably worse than they were before. I'm gonna stay away from here for a while unless I hear it gets better

Staff was very welcoming and the food was delicious! I had the chicken francese, my friends had the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parm..vegetable soup and salad..everything was great..we all decided to get an Italian ice for dessert to take home and the owner would not let us pay for it...class act and a great place to dine!!! Loved it and will definitely be back, can't wait to try their pizza,I heard it was amazing!

I myself had pizza pie told them thin and crispy and my wife had mussels as an app and veal dish which came out great. Never had a bad meal there. Winston the Chef takes pride in what he does. They have a number of specials. You won't be sorry. They only have beer and wine there. Enjoy, will be back next week.

Seemed to be a nice place. Was busy. I believe it was owner answering phone and running register. What I did like is that he was calm and collected while phone was ringing off the hook on a busy Saturday night. I wish the cooks took the same approach though. Pizza seemed rushed and undercooked with a few doughy spots, tons of flop and flour taste. If I went back I would ask for it to be cooked well done. 3 is a bit generous. If they had 2.6 I would rate it that for this experience. Wish the restaurant well as the owner seems like a good guy.

Extremely authentic Italian. We had excellent service by a young man, Cameron, who was so personable and accommodating to my requests and didn't miss a beat. We will be back and we will recommend to all. If you want real Italian, go to Cafe Frankie's

Food was good, but be careful because they try to sneak an 18% tip on your bill & won’t tell you, even if you double tip, for take out no less! It’s ridiculous, especially when you already gave them one & they don’t say anything!?

We walked here from our hotel and had a wonderful experience. They serve free and fresh bread with your meals, the staff is friendly and professional, and they have quality food that is well worth the price. Almost everything is fresh and made on site, the make pizza dough in front of you, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It has a cozy inside dining area and patio to eat outside (with warmers). Excellent place to eat. Will go again.

Absolutely amazing to say the least! Service, food and atmosphere were fantastic. Our waitress was so delightful and helpful:) the chef even came out to greet us. Do yourself a favor and come check this place out! Also dog friendly! They brought out a bowl of water. Experience was an overall 100/10

Absolutely love the Margarita Pizza. Great value. This is my pizza place of choice. Thin crisp crust, not too saucy or cheesy and has great flavor. Great owner as well. Real nice people there.

The food was good as usual, but we had a party of 7 for lunch and we were all served at different times. My father in law was served first and it took 16 minutes for me to get my food after that. It wasn't busy so maybe their usual kitchen guy was off.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO FRANKIES CAFE ..First of all "Frankie" thinks he has a high end fine dining place .but he is missing both the high end and the fine dining. I went there with a few friends on convenience as Banana Boat had over an hour wait and my friends live just over the bridge and have never been to Frankies. After looking inside we were not impressed it looked like a carryout pizza place no decor, a bit unkept & bit dirty, so we sat outside it looked cleaner, but it had the ambience of sitting outside a Dominos Pizza carryout. Its an ultra casual place in a strip mall next to a tanning place and nail shop ..casual is an understatement, but you wouldn't know that by the prices on the Frankies Cafe menu you would think it was a south beach hotspot or las olas ,15.00 12" pizzas, 24 bolognese pasta , 27 linguini and clams definitely not cheap prices and rather high prices for a place that looks like a carryout pizza shop. We all commented we were shocked at the prices considering what this place looked like inside and out. One of the waitresses came over handed us, menus said she was very busy and will be back in a few,...(there were only 2 tables taken in the whole place on a friday night at 8;30, we were not sure what she was busy with but said not problem) one of us is allergic to egg so we asked if the pasta had egg....she seem annoyed but came bank and said yes it did, I asked again any of the pastas not have egg one must not it appears there are 5-6 different types on the menu ...and she was visibly annoyed annoyed and said yes all do ...I find that hard to believe ....but she was very unfriendly and we commented we hope she is just having a bad day.... after she walked away. Shortly after a very nice polite Spanish speaking boy that must of been 12 yrs old came out and gave us a rolls with olive oil. While sitting outside I noticed a larger menu taped on the window, I went over there and looked at that seemed different and more expansive then the one the waitress handed us I noticed they have a large 18" pizza for 19 that was not on the mensu only a 15.00 12" ( neither are cheap by any means for a cheese pizza...we also noticed on the online menu this 18" pizza is available during the week for $12.99 carryout only ), when the waitress came back we proceeded to ask a few questions and again received her very unpleasant attitude like order now ...I am too busy for you guys ..(even though only two tables of patrons including us in the whole restaurant)...we then started to order the vodka pasta 22, meat sauce pasta 24, and a large pizza for the 3 of us. When I said a large pizza she said all we have is a 12" for 15, I said on the window it says 18" for 19 she said thats for carryout only, and I asked her to explain, she said the owner is sick of people coming here and ordering just pizza and has a policy now to discourage that and is only offering a $15 12" pizza and she said it with attitude like you cheap SOB's get the H out of here ...we then said please come back we have to rethink this.....after she left we all agreed there is to much attitude and to little pizzaz/ambiance to put up with this and we did not want to patronage a place like this, i honestly has a similar outside seating ambience of a few wooden tables outside a Dominos Carryout ..and the inside is not much better. We then left a 10 and decided to take our business elsewhere. The waitress who was very rude to us jumped on the 10 bill and stuff it in her pocket immediately we noticed as we walked to the car..we left went to Tramontis Delray which has excellent food & excellent ambiance and excellent service highly recommend it for very similar to prices to this "carryout" style Frankies with no ambiance. Honestly if Frankie can't either up his game in the ambiance in a big way ... or lower his prices to reasonable (we all know how cheap it is to make pasta and pizza lets be honest) ...and offer some sort of value proposition ..and have a service oriented staff ....I read its under new management hopefully they fix these issues.

Someone at my gym mentioned Cafe Frankie's , so being Italian restaurant aficionados, we decided to try it. Tucked in the rear corner of a strip center. It is basically a Pizzeria with Italian food. Started with Calamari Fritti, Calamari with hot & sweet cherry peppers served with marinara sauce, just ok. We had to ask for bread that comes with garlic oil twice. For mains , i tried the Zuppa Di Pesce, clams, mussels, calamari, and shrimp in a light tomato seafood sauce, served over linguine. The sauce was watery and tasteless. Not a good sign for an Italian restaurant . My wife chose the Eggplant Parmigiana, eggplant breaded, baked with tomato sauce, ricotta & mozzarella cheese, served with pasta. One of her favorite, she thought it was just fair. One in our party ordered thin spaghetti with olive oil and garlic and they brought our ziti instead. She sent it back and they brought a thin spaghetti without the olive oil and garlic so she ordered the ravioli. One and done.

Café Frankie’s makes the best pizza in Boynton Beach, I have done the research. The staff is professional, attentive, and courteous. The ambiance is easy and laid back. And the most important element: the food, is fantastic, great ingredients used with care and attention to detail, means you will have a great experience.

Cafe Frankie’s is a hidden GEM in Boynton Beach. Every time we go they make us feel so welcomed and like we are part of the family. We have brought lots of our neighbors/friends there with us abs everyone has remarked how welcoming, friendly and professional the employees/owners are. The menu is awesome and they have daily specials as well as great pizza. Give the place a try - I do t think that you will be disappointed.

Love coming here for dinner. Comfortable, friendly, local Italian joint and you always feel welcome. Food is great, service top notch and the owners are always happy to see you. Once a week we pick up a pie, and the pizza 🍕 is great! Eat here, or take out! Just make it Cafe Frankie’s!

Eating at Cafe Frankie’s is a very comfortable experience whether you are eating alone or with all your friends. It’s like eating with family. The food is excellent and the service can’t be beat! There are always great surprises on the daily specials and the desserts are decadently delicious. The servings are more than adequate. I have yet to manage without taking something home in a doggie bag!

Winston, the chef of Cafe Frankie's is such a talented, humble, and kind man. I had the pleasure of working there back in 2011-2012. I started out spinning a sign on the corner of E Ocean Ave. and Route 1 advertising their $7.99 Pizzas. Slowly worked my way in to the kitchen where I started washing dishes and then learned to cook and make pizzas. I learned a lot from Winston and think of him often. This is a fantastic restaurant, if you live in the area you have to stop by.

This is our go to Italian restaurant. First and foremost their pizza is stellar - have the Margarita Pizza to start. But seriously, you must try the Veal Piccata! The vegis are expertly grilled, mashed potatoes are super creamy and the chicken was wonderfully thin....then there's the sauce!! The perfect meal.
