We chartered Captain Jake Geib along with his good friend Captain Spencer Reilly ( Captain Goop charters) for a three day trip to fish the waters around Vero beach. We were a group of five and needed two boats. The Captains showed up together and we spent time alternating on the two boats. Jake is an incredible guide with experience and knowledge about the local ecosystem and how to fish the waters. We fished mostly live bait and he put on fish and taught us the specific techniques we needed to feel confident. We landed Snook, Redfish, Jack and even a few Barracuda. We had lots of laughs and came away fully satisfied. I’d highly recommend both guides for your next trip.

Great charter trip with the boys, ran even smoother with Jacob as our Guide and Captain. Friendly, down to earth, knowledgeable, punctual and lots of fun in between. Hooked up on keeper fish immediately, and then bagged an absolute unit of a Grouper that had stolen our hardware 3 times in a row. 4th times a charm and so was the charter experience. What an amazing time fishing. The captain was super nice, got us on fish and we kept catching them!!!! My son and daughter had the best time, can’t wait to go back and do another charter with Captain Jake… I highly recommend him, we do charters all the time and this by far was the best.

Captain Jake was great. He got out group onto fish immediately and even got us into some big ones. My nephew had the time of his life landing a big grouper because of Captain Jake's skill and knowledge of the waters. Will definitely book another trip with him.

Before I go into what an epic day we had with Captain Jacob @coastalchartercompany, let me go into what I think makes a great captain. Someone who not just knows the water but also takes time to teach, give tips, always moving never being stagnant in one area, always looking to put you on fish the whole time your on his charter. Today Captain Jacob did all this and more. I got a charter for my teenage son Jacob, funny same name as our captain and his friend. From the get go it was non stop action and great energy from Captain Jacob. Put us on snook ,red fish ,snappers ,trout, and tarpon. Captain Jake Was Awesome with my boys & took us right to the Tarpon the boys wanted. 🪝 Hooked a monster. Captain Jake put us on Snooks, Jacks all Day long and the action was great. Captain Jake was super friendly, very knowledgeable about fish their habitats & when you should fish for them. Highly recommend him for any charter. Just remember, it's called fishing not catching! Captain Jake was the best Capt. who showed us a great time and caught a ton of fish! We were fortunate enough to catch and release Jacks, Tarpon, Snooks, catfish, trout, and took home some snapper filets for dinner. On the boat ride from spot to spot we encountered stingrays, bull shark, lots of aviary, and a few dolphins. The thing my wife and I appreciated the most was the cues and teaching that Capt. Jake gave us so we had successful fishing experience. We’d recommend him to anyone looking for a charter in Vero Beach area.

I can’t say enough good thinks about Captain Jake and Coastal Charter Company. He is, hands down, the best captain I’ve ever fished with. My 13 year old son and I have fished with him 4 times now and have always had a great time and caught lots of fish. We fished with Jake on 2/18/23 in some windy weather. Our goal was to catch a slot snook, well, we wound up catching several big snook (we kept 2) and released the rest. The fishing was action packed for six straight hours. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable captain with great equipment that knows where the fish are, look no further. I can’t recommend Jake highly enough!

He also supports the captains for clean waters, he even pulled some trash out of the water on our trip. He is very good with kids. He taught my son to cast like a pro. Had an unbelievably productive day targeting snook and tarpon with Capt Jake, using fly and spinning tackle. His knowledge of the area and fish behavior was only surpassed by his affablity and pleasant demeanor. He is certainly one of the most professional guides I've ever fished with.
