Excellent food and service at Jimmy’s! We ate there the other night and Autumn was an absolute gem. This is one of the best restaurants in Tarpon Springs for quality Italian American and Greek dishes. Their saganaki- flaming Greek halloumi cheese is the best I’ve eaten in Tarpon Springs. I highly recommend their homemade lasagna as it’s absolutely divine and a great value dish. It’s impossible to make a better lasagna. I also recommend their homemade cheesecake with raspberry purée for dessert as it’s also excellent. Fellow customers were raving to us about the pizzas, which are also very popular as Jimmy’s makes the dough in house. Ask for recommendations and select what’s made in house, as it’s prepared with love. I can’t wait to return to try one of their delicious looking pizzas!

Pleasantly surprised! Found it on Google Maps and the menu and pics (and octopus) looked great so we decided to give it a try. Soooo glad we did! Diner-like atmosphere but the food and service is AMAZING! Being first-timers, you're not sure what to expect when you walk in to an out-of-the-way place you figure is mostly locals, but the friendliness of the staff made us feel as if we were regulars ourselves (we've already added it to our definitely-return list). We had the grilled octopus (REALLY good and cooked perfectly) and the belly clams, which were so clammy and a HUGE order (and the best tartar sauce around)! And their lemon potatoes were AWESOME! Nowhere have they been as lemony as here! Thank you to the entire staff, front and back! Very well done Jimmy's! We'll be back soon!

We haven’t been here in many years. The food was very good. Service was good. The restaurant is very clean. They have a wide selection on their menu for all the picky eaters such as my kids who can never agree on the same thing. We had the garlic bread for an appetizer. I split the pizza with one daughter as my other daughter had the shrimp pasta. We did have leftovers therefore the portions to say the least are rather big.

Service was exceptional, great menu, food is always delicious, cooked perfect, and plentiful portions. I had the smelts appetizer....absolutely scrumptious!!! The grouper Florentine was the best!!

Love the food... won’t be back til they can figure out that we are in a pandemic. There were people walking around with no masks. I hope there is enough of the to keep them open. I won’t be back. If they care so little for public health they won’t get a penny of my money. There are plenty of other good places to support. I hope they get their S$&t together.

I have sure missed this place! Just incredible food and service. I just heard the owner talking with some folks that people just moving here have been hesitant about stopping in. You have NO IDEA what you are missing in life. The Mediterranean Grouper dish and that incredible GREEK SALAD were just amazing and is going to make me extend my trip. It should be illegal not to try Jimmys within the first 72 hours of arriving to Tarpon Springs.

We had the large feta and spinach pizza. From the crust to the cheese, amazing! If you go make sure to say hello to all the staff! They are so nice and amazing! I even got to meet Nick! Awesome guy! Also we started with the Greek salad and bread! Oh so good! Can’t wait until I come back here!

Honestly, I think Jimmy's is the best restaurant in Tarpon. Seafood is fresh and cooked perfectly, pizzas are awesome and unique. Great service. I love going here, best restaurant in the community and not touristy. Grouper bites, calamari, wings, pizza, salads- all delicious and consistent over many years.

Jimmy's restaurant may be pricey but the portions are large. The food presentation is fantastic. The quality of the food is really top notch. Although known for their greek style pizzas its their fish and meats that stands out to me. The owner Jimmy, will take breaks from cooking when he can to come out and welcome his guests. He has a way of making you feel like your family. A really great experience!!

We are new to area and have ordered their pizza and it is divine, not thin crust or thick but right in the middle and flavor amazing. Greek salad is wonderful and authentic. Grouper Sandwich was good, however the bun was fresh and soft but overpowered the fish size.

Home cooked food, nice sized portions. Shared Octopus appetizer, huge! The smelt were lightly breaded, plentiful, and good for dipping in a very tasty in-house made tartar sauce, but the smelt lacked any distinct flavor The homemade, freshly made bread was very tasty. Great place for tasty food. One thing I HAVE to return for, are the home-made pizzas that looked fabulous and I saw 1/2 the tables present , eating these great looking pizzas.

Nice outdoor seating. Delicious gyro. We loved the fish appetizer. Large portion for meals. Will definitely return if we’re ever back in town.

The heck with 5 stars! Jimmy's is 100 stars ALL the way, baby! For real, and very much to my delight, the food, service, atmosphere et al. was wonderful. Major props to my lovely server, Nina, who recommended the chopped Greek salad which was by far the very best Greek salad I've tasted in Tarpon Springs so far! (and I've tried over a dozen versions, plus, as a private chef, it's one of my specialities!). Can't wait to return, ideally with a few people so I can try many many more dishes, all of which are well priced and look absolutely delicious!

So far the spot hasn't dissapoint.. I ordered the meat lovers pizza and it did not dissapoint, it was good!!! Also had the Spaghetti and meatballs loved it. Def would recommend and I will continue to order.

One of the best places I found for amazing sea food! Friendly and good service! Huge portions of food and normal prices! Also you can enjoy pizza Burger's Chicken salad's and desserts! And don't forget to try theyr one home made style bread!!!🥰👍 Got A+ from me

It's just a little diner but the food is fantastic. Got the calzone and ordered a large so I would have left overs. Yeah, I have left overs for 2-3 more meals. Wife got the stuffed grouper and it was the same. Best service we have had in a while. You know the kind of server who brings everything before you can even ask. Got to love this place!

Wow! Amazing everything! Food, service, atmosphere! Our server Kathy was amazing! Price is very fair for the quality and quantity of food. The clam chowder is some of the best we've had anywhere in the country! Everything is made fresh in-house! Nothing frozen and you can tell from the first bite to the last! We will definitely be back!

What's not to love. they have whole belly fried clams and whole belly steamed clams! New England ones! Love places like this.

Best pizza I have had in Florida. I grew up eating pizza in New Haven and New York, so I know good pizza. This is a great neighborhood spot.

Been coming here for years. Service and quality is always top notch. The staff are awesome, the owner is the sweetest, the prices are affordable and the food is fresh. What's not to love. You really feel like family when you dine here. So glad to have this little local gem

This place is a 10! My son and I went to Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks were a madhouse. We Googled nearby restaurants and located Jimmy's. The restaurant was clean, well run, and had a neighborhood feel. The food was OUTSTANDING - the mussels were exceptional, the grilled octopus was the best I'd ever had, and the gyro was fantastic. And to top it off, this place is 3 minutes from Sunset Park if you want to catch a beautiful Florida sunset after dinner. All around, Jimmy's Neighborhood Restaurant is fantastic and we can't wait to go there again to try other items from the menu.

What an amazing experience. Just tried Jimmy's for the first time and I am so impressed. The food was delicious and the service was really good. We tried the calamari, and pizza and pasta. Everything was delicious and we just loved it. Thank you Jimmy and staff for the great dinner.

I’ve read that they have great octopus. Although good. It wasn’t the best I’ve had in tarpon. Pizza was okay. Greek and side salad were flavorless. Great burger and fries.

We love the pizzas here and the welcome and the lay-out of the place. Whenever we get back to Tarpon Springs it's our first destination for food. Always fresh and so, so tasty.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Jimmy’s. The food was good. We had the cheese steak sandwich and spinach calzone. Our server on the other hand was awesome! She was so much fun and great at laughing with me when I couldn’t decide so I put her on the spot by ordering all of her favorites the way she likes them cooked. I’m so mad at myself for not remembering her name but she’s got a great future ahead of her no matter what she decides to do. And actually everyone working there was fantastic, helpful and super friendly. The service made a good meal great.

Great chowder to start with! The breading for the onion rings was delicious along with the mozzarella sticks. Blackened Mahi-mahi sandwich was A1. Cheeseburger was cooked perfect and the Calzone was built great 👍🏼 thank you for the great visit !

Good spot! Prices weren't too bad and the food flavors were great! The steamed veggies w garlic had a bit more garlic than I liked, but was still good. Service was friendly and attentive. The decor could be better. Placed looked clean, but could yluae a bit of modernization. Will try again. Close to lots of other local spots as well.

Just had to right a review give a "well done" to the wait staff. No doubt the food is good at Jimmy's, it always is. However, with wait staff is terrific. I warms my heart when I give a thank you to a server and their reply is "your welcome" every time! So many places the reply I get is "no problem" . Your welcome makes me happy, no problem rubs me the wrong way. Keep up the good work servers.

Found Jimmy's when driving by from Tarpon Springs. Heard very good things about their food, particularly the seafood and been wanting to try them. I don't get very excited about reviews in N. Pinellas, been disappointed many times. Bread "home made" not good as the waitress excitedly spoke of. Clam chowder, pretty good but tasted the flour. Fra Diablo seafood was good but not great. Shrimp were frozen, not fresh nor succulent seafood. Scallops, same. Clams, mussels and squid ok but chunky prices of tomatoes weren't very desirable. Lacking garlic and fresh flavor tomatoe sauce. Was suprised to see a bush of curly parsley as opposed to the Italian style leaves on my plate, nobody uses that curly parsley. Overall ok but wouldn't order that dish again. Service was fine, cafeteria ambience but attentive. Portion was good and reasonablely priced, will try it again and go with a Greek dish and not an Italian Fra Diablo dish.

Good food and large portions will not leave you hungry! Made already several lunch trips here, very nice atmosphere and friendly service.

If you travel off the beaten path in the depths of Tarpon Springs you will find this little gem. The food is amazing. I had the clam chowder as an app and each bite had a consistent texture and amazing taste. I could not place the spice that they use in their chowder but it gave it that extra pizazz, which after over 30yrs of eating clam chowder tickled my taste buds with every bite. Highly recommend. Then I had linguini with white clam sauce. I test Italian style restaurants a lot with this dish. But Jimmy's surprised me. The sauce had a good amount of clams, garlic and wine reduction but this was special. The lemon and the garlic were in a perfect unison to go with a light cream to make it a semi-creamy, lemony, garlicy clam sauce that was soaked perfectly by the linguini pasta. I do not know if they make the pasta in house but everything else I'm told is all made to order. Cheesecake for desert. They make this here too. I was on the perfect consistency scale of semi-creamy. I prefer cheesecake that isn't like a brick when you eat it.

Good food, unfortunately they charge 3 % more when paying by credit card, so we don't frequent Jimmy's as often as we would like.

The grouper was fabulous! Everything is homemade. Will definitely be back.

Jimmy's is an excellent neighborhood restaurant in everything the name implies. We started dining here on a recommendation from our nextdoor neighbor that was a long time patron there and we decided to give it a try. Since last year we have been going there probably once a week or so and everything we have had is very good. I love the clam chowder, greek salad, and several fish and pasta dishes I have tried over time. Everything is good, home cooked recipes. Jimmy is usually working in the kitchen with his employees which shows his dedication to his restaurant and quality he wants to portray. We have brought my parents there before and if given the choice when we asked where he would like to go, my dad always asks for Jimmy's. It seems, from what we can tell, everyone is treated like family there. We see a lot of people come in and out that seem to have built relationships with those who work there and it is nice to see that small town feel. Last night we had the honor of meeting Jimmy when he came out of the kitchen to thank us for being long time customers and that meant a lot. Thank you again for all you do right!
