One Third Asian House is a nice little neighborhood restaurant that serves a mix of Asian dishes ranging from sushi, to hibachi, the Chinese dishes like General Tso’s and Orange chicken. On this trip my wife and I tried the General Tso’s chicken as well as the sesame chicken. The portions were huge! We also opted for the fried rice as our side. Both were pretty good, although a few pieces or the chicken were a little tough/over cooked. They also give you a little plate of sweet fried wonton skins which are really tasty. Service was very fast and friendly. We will definitely be back to try the hibachi.

This is by far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life and by far the best Chinese food in Jacksonville and Asian food in Jacksonville. And I can give reasons why: First of all, what’s usually the biggest issue with bad Asian food? The chicken is either just all fat and it’s rubbery, or it’s rough and stringy. This is neither. You can tell the kitchen straight up cubed perfect, boneless chicken breast and cooked it well. Look at the picture attached, that’s real, high quality chicken. And you can tell in the second picture it’s not too fried either. You can still see the chicken and not just a ball of batter. Second, my entire life I never could tell you the difference between the quality of any sushi I ate. Sushi is sushi. It’s all made the same and will taste relatively the same… or so I thought. Until coming here. This is the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything tastes fresh. Like they just cut up the avocado, and only buy avocados that perfectly ripe and not at all mushy. The avocado is fresh, the rice is the perfect amount, and so is the fish. Lastly, it’s STILL cheap. You can get a “lunch box” for like $11 that has fried rice, a chicken, beef, or shrimp entree of your choice, and three California Roll pieces. And it’s enough to fill you up. Oh, and they also serve these incredible chips while you’re waiting for your food that are like sweet, but not fortune cookie sweet. Kinda tastes like a cinnamon roll in a chip. Just come eat at One Third Asian House. This isn’t even a paid advertisement, I’m just in love with this place.

We really like this place. We usually come every Sunday after church. My wife loves sushi and I do well with sushi. I will tell you place isn't perfect but it's about as close as you can get the perfect without being perfect. We have tried a few different things and have always been very satisfied with our choices. The service is incredibly great. The friendliness of the staff makes it the perfect place to come after church on a Sunday. The prices are in line with every other place that's so sushi. It's not overly priced and you don't feel like they have a charged enough, so it's perfect for what they're doing. I would highly recommend coming here if you're in the area. Looking for good sushi or good Asian food

Lettuce wraps are the best. Perfectly fried sweet and sour and general Tso chicken. Not too much batter. The owner always keeps the sake coming and the brings the set up for sake bombs. My wife loves the Phad Thai and fillet hibachi. The banana roll is different and amazing. Philly cheese egg roll is really good. Grilled broccoli is perfect. Pineapple fried rice has a bunch of pineapple. When you eat in they give you these wontons that are sweet as an appetizer, those are worth the trip alone. We always get the 10 rolls for $49 for party’s and football games. All of their specials are fantastic. Lunch, roll, Monday and Wednesday specials. I hadn’t been in a while bc of work schedule and revisited recently they’ve done some tweaks and everything is amazing. I’ve been going weekly. The variety makes that easy. You can tell that the owner Jack takes pride in his business and his food. I think he is always there and runs a tight ship. Don’t see that a lot these days. The Egg drop soup is a bit different and I’m still on the fence. It’s not neon yellow and probably made from scratch or healthier so I’ll give it another shot.

This place was good. Nice atmosphere, let’s us taste some sake free of charge. They brought out free appetizer too. Very courteous staff and professional. I will definitely come back here. We brought our two young children and they were not annoyed or dismissive. Some establishments think young kids are too noisy but they have children’s menus to keep them occupied.

Purchased two sushi rolls. The seaweed was a little tough on one of the rolls otherwise very tasty. I asked for a side of spicy mayo it was excellent. Ordered vegetable, stir fried rice to go. Not just the standard peas and carrots, but it included fresh mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, egg and onions. I would highly recommend. When I brought to their attention the seaweed, was a bit tough ,they gave me 20% off my meal, which was very nice. I told them not to, but they insisted..
