A donkey by the beach...say what? Ok, ice cream is ice cream but not so much after this locale. This has some serious thought given to the recipes. Wow. Hot and humid- weather is forgotten. Walk up family friendly delicious way to end a day. Great service on Sunday night...Amen. Have dessert before dinner.

Funky ice cream pit stop! I think the prices are fair and I would say the portion sizes are generous. Lots of flavours, dips and toppings to choose from. Was fairly busy when we arrived but the que moves quickly.

A hut style ice cream shop. Cute theme and friendly service. Well located in Cocoa Beach. They offer non-dairy ice cream and non-dairy sorbets. Additionally, Fat Donkey offers traditional, unique ice cream flavors, soft serve and some yummy desserts. The churro ice cream sandwich was freshly made, so the churro was warm and crisp. We enjoyed our treats and would definitely return.

We always get ice cream on vacation. This was an Awesome ice cream shop. Went off-season so no lines. One scoop on a cone is huge. Enough for two people. Only thing is the scoop in a cup was way smaller. Don’t understand that so get the cone. Reasonable prices but we’re from Chicago where everything is $$$.

Best ice-cream in my opinion. They have so many flavors to choose from, but i always go with the coconut pineapple. It's not very sweet and states fatty. That's how i like my ice cream 🤣

Best ice cream ever? They sell ice cream in a mason jar on a warm brownie!!! Things that dreams are made of. We will be back

Don't be scared off by the lines, they move quickly and the wait is worth it! Some of the best handmade ice cream I've had with a wide variety of options. Try going earlier in the afternoon if you can to avoid the evening crowds, and to take the time to sit inside and see all the history with in the film industry, that was one of my favorite parts!

One of our favorite ice cream shops across the country, and we've visited a lot of shops! Every flavor is delicious (we have our favorites, of course), but after coming here on various trips over a 24 month period, I can share they're consistent too! If you're in the area, you absolutely will not regret stopping here

I don’t think it lived up to the hype. I had their key lime/vanilla soft serve/ strawberry dessert, and my wife had a “churro” ice cream sandwich. I don’t know what the heck the “churro” was, but it wasn’t a churro, more. cinnamon cardboard. It was tough as HECK! I won’t be back The band next door was great but it made it super hard to hear when your order is called!

Great little ice cream shop . Give them a try. The kids working were very nice and were having a good time. Keep it up guys..

Second time I've been here...love the brownie in a jar, warmed, with a scoop on top of your choice. Lovely place. If there's no line, you are in luck, but if there is, it's worth the wait.

Great ice cream to follow our meal at Tiny Turtle next door! Perfect duo for any meal :) The vibe is fun and the surrounding area is nice for an evening walk after dinner with your Fat Donkey desert!

So many flavors and types of ice creams from Italian ice to soft service to hard ice cream to cakes in cup! So many flavors and combos to try and everything was delicious. Line can be long at times but worth the wait.

This is my family's all time favorite stop in Coco Beach for sweets, no matter what time day or night! Their 'competition' has NOTHING on these guys! The ice cream is so so good, cake n batter with caramel is a MUST, but I haven't had anything I didn't love. They're normally pretty busy and super popular, but service is always really fast and friendly, even when packed. They are very busy in the later evening but wait time is not ridiculous so its worth it 100%! Trust me when I say, you WON'T be disappointed, and if you go once you're gonna be hooked. Way to go guys, I wish we had a place like this back home. I attached a picture of one menu, there's another on the other side I forgot but I'm sure it's somewhere on the internet. 😁

I was here once in 2020 on vacation and couldn’t remember how it was here. I’m here again on vacation and was like let’s go again, and I’ll just say this ice cream is amazing. I highly recommend the chocolate cookie cheesecake ice cream. It has chunks of cheesecake in it! Delicious, and the employees were very kind.

Delicious...One scoop cones are very large. Wide variety of flavors of ice cream and cones.

Portion size was great, 1 scoop is closer to 2. The ice cream was very good. My only complaint is the line was too long, which means they needed a 4th person to help manage the crowd.

My pooch got a free cup of soft serve, lucky girl! Different flavors and variety for children to adult. They also have sorbet and non- dairy ice cream.

We bought the cappuccino chip and caramel pecan swirl , I believe. Delicious, big servings. Cute exterior carvings, gracious and efficient server appeared to be the only person doing everything. Excellent value. This is our first visit but it won’t be the last!

Churro is actually a sandwich with vanilla ice cream. Ice cream is more of a Publix brand and the churro is reheated so it’s gummy and not very tasty. For a baker, I’d pass. But the attendant was nice. I just wouldn’t revisit

We tried the zonkey watermelon and mango soo good kids had cookies and cream ,yesterday we had a jack smasher but it had an entire slice of cheesecake in the cone so we dumped it in a cup to eat instead that was good too

Great place to get ice cream on a hot summer's day. Found this hole in the wall gem and waited in line for some of the best ice cream I have had in a long time. The butter pecan was rich and creamy, and the black cherry had an explosion of flavor. Will definently return if in Cocoa in the future. Back again, 7/09/23, and still just as good.

Place is super cool. Kids working there are very nice but they definitely need help. I love the different take on desserts and that they are open pretty late.
