Always a great place to bring your corgi. Our girl Stella had the best time on her real long walk along the beach. Parking is usually easy during winter months and the entryway board walk and dune are in good shape even with the hurricanes this year.

This is a terrific area for handicap accessible parking and beachcomber changing and washroom areas. Horses and dogs are allowed on this beachfront. Ponte Vedra Beach has well marked directionals to this public beach access which are easily followed along A1A. Mickler’s Landing beach rules are clearly posted onsite.

Way too crowded (and we visited on weekdays). Never any parking. Long walk to the beach. Bathrooms and changing areas are disgusting. Give him a chance to days in a row thinking maybe we hit it on and off day but nope both days were the same.

***DOG FRIENDLY BEACH*** This is one of Florida’s nicer beaches. As I mentioned, it’s a dog friendly beach, but all dogs MUST be on a leash and you MUST pick up their poop (which I 100% agree with). But even though it’s dog friendly, I didn’t see many dogs there. It has a parking area that’s free to park in with 1-2 sheriff’s deputies monitoring it. There’s a bathroom and an outside shower to rinse off in. The walk to where the beach access area is from the parking lot is super short. The beach itself is not overly crowded either, which I love! When you first enter the beach area there’s a spot where people are usually grouped together, but if you like to be more secluded (like I do), then you don’t have to walk very far. They also have a few life guards on duty, which made me feel safer. I took my family to this beach to hunt for shark teeth and in just 1 hour 3 people found 12 shark teeth! If you go to hunt shark teeth like I did, I recommend looking for the black triangle shapes in the areas where the crushed shells are located. And don’t expect to find large ones, most are tiny. But it’s a fun little activity for all ages, and extremely addicting! Make sure you bring a zip lock baggie to carry the shark teeth in or you may wind up losing them. I’ll definitely be taking my family back to this beach and I’ll also be recommending it to all my friends!

Excellent beach for family and friends. Great atmosphere, as well as great place for looking for sharks teeth and surfing on the right tide. Very family oriented.

This is a late post. On 11-06-2022, I went to this beach. I really like this beach. It is a fairly good-sized parking lot, but it tends to fill up quickly. I like this beach for finding shark teeth.

I went to catch a sunrise..on a rainy day. The surfers didn't seem to care about the rain at all. This is a great place to look for seashells and sharks teeth!!

This beach was a great family stop. If you have never hunted for sharks teeth before, it will change the way you step into a beach forever. I have two college aged children, and they were just as addicted. There was no seaweed, the waves were great, and the teeth were plentiful. We found about 50 teeth all together. Parking can fill up so come early or during the week versus weekends. 1A1 from the south also allows you to view some beautiful homes along the way.

Parking can get a little crazy, but it's my favorite place to find shark teeth!

Nice destination for beach relaxation, and family fun. Located in Ponte Vedra with plenty of parking and bathrooms. Didn’t take any pics on this one, but I am sure there are others that did. It’s a safe place to go.
