Quite possibly the most pleasant rooftop patio on earth. Located on a quiet side street, with a view of the castle (lit up at night), this was our favourite meal on Mallorca. Excellent Mediterranean food and wine. Our favourite was the baked goat cheese! Friendly staff and a chef who comes out and greets the patrons at the end of the night while you finish your wine! Enjoyed our experience so much, we returned two nights later! A highlight of our trip to Spain.

Spent the day exploring out of the way places in Mallorca which included, the weekly market in Inca, Cap Formentor and Alcudia. With some time to kill before dinner I searched on google for someplace different about an hour south of Alcudia and I found the restaurant La Frauga in the pretty little town of Capdepera. I don’t know how people find this place but they do and are nicelly rewarded for it. We were greated by our host Myrko who was friendly, gregarious and gracious. This is an Italian restaurant in a classic Mallorcan town that uses the local and seasonal ingredients to make some stellar Italian dishes. We started with the flat pizza bread topped with top quality prosciutto di Parma, Mallorcan olive oil and spices. I went with the fresh Mediterranean mussells in a garlicky white wine sauce that was knockout. My wife had the tagliatelle in a truffle and porcini mushroom sauce that had been recommended by Myrko. This was also a home run. An unexpected wonderful Italian meal in a place you would least expect it. Bravo, bravo!!

Excellent little restaurant with idyllic views of the castle. The food was excellent I had the smoked duck starter and a steak and the meat was seared exactly to my liking. The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable and it was a very relaxing atmosphere with a view to die for. Prices are in line with what you would expect to pay locally.

Beautiful restaurant with an elevated terrace in a cute town. Ordered to go via the chat feature on google while using translate, whoever was on the other end was very helpful. Food was ready exactly when they said and packaged really well, very friendly staff and chefs. Got to watch them in action for a bit, amazing scenes. Grilled sea bass was a personal highlight, cooked perfectly and really tasty sides

Their highlight is their terrace (they also have a dining room on the first floor). We stumbled upon it on a evening were they had a duet playing. It is a romantic dinner place as the castle is also nicely illuminated at night. We were greeted by the friendly kitchen staff and our quick glimpse into the open kitchen revealed that their speciality must be meat. All waiters were fluent in several languages and very accommodating.

Omg, the cutest place ever! The food is delicious and good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We didn't wait long at all for our orders. The teracce is very romantic and pamaroma just beautiful. We even got a table without reservation. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful night on the roof terrace. Although we did not have a reservation, the staff was very helpful and found us a table, but to be sure I suggest you reserve a table beforehand. The food was delicious! We ordered the stake on hot stone (see video) it came with some oven made vegetables. It was enough to satisfy the appetite of 2 hungry wanderers.

One of the best places in Mallorca! It's definetely for you if you're after a local feel rather than German beer bars with Schnitzels. The food is just delicious and the service is on point too! Not to mention, prices are reasonable (basically like everywhere in Mallorca) and the terrace overlooking the Castle is just stunning! There are 2 "buts" though: 1. I highly recommend that you reserve a table beforehand otherwise you might not get a place (we reserved on the same day in the morning with no problem) 2. Be patient as waiting time for you food might take up to 50 minutes but it's worth every single minute!
