Much improved! Glad this is open again. The new menu is amazing! Kids loved it, easy to park. It’s also fun to park the boat and walk up.

Service - Excellent! (thanks so much Aria)! Breakfast (Sammie Sandwich and Omelet so tasty (peppers and onions were cooked so perfectly on the omelet didn't get a pic). Bloody Mary's - heck of a deal, nearly a meal itself and excellent! Thanks Jake's we'll be back!

We were in last night, shortly before close, and sat at the bar. Brody was our bartender and he was absolutely fantastic! He was personable, attentive and efficient. We enjoyed a bacon cheese burger and ranch chicken sandwich and a couple beers. We'll definitely be returning to try other menu items!

Wonderful! Great service,,, really great food. Our 1st time there. Menu was plentiful… each fish ordered was well made. Better than tired Stone Inn in Chisago City. Clean restrooms, lots of parking. Docks available if we stop by with pontoon. Will certainly be back!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Nice stop, with a patio and view of lake. Love the burger options not to many places let you choose a variety of meat for your burger, I choose a chorizo burger which was good. Service was good.

Best version of the restaurants there so far! Menu has lots of good looking things. We'll def be back again. We totally didn't plan it, but we got a beatiful sunset dinner on their patio which was lovely. We ordered the pork belly burnt ends on onion strings and those were super yummy. Surprisingly meaty and lots of onion strings. I ordered the braised beef ribs but they were out of them. Tried the broasted chix with mashed potatoes. Chicken was very juicy just not tons of flavor. Mashed potatoes were delicious, real pan style gravy with chix in it. Hubs got the pan fried walleye with wild rice and asparagus. Both sides were great! Walleye could have been more flavorful and the pan fried parts were not really crispy, moreso soggy... The smoke on the lake drink was indeed very smoky if you like that kind of drink. Straw mojito was ok. Pain killer was pretty good, I'd order another one of those. No dessert offerings. Which was fine bc we were stuffed. But we were celebrating and would have been disappointed if we we're hoping for a sweet something after dinner. Server was brand new, 1st day. Did not let us know the things they were out of right away. Was a lil slow with their handheld ordering devices. But she was kind and friendly. Hope this place stays around!

The food here has been GREAT! The service not as much. I think they're gaining popularity faster than anticipated, so they need more kitchen and/or wait staff. Just a suggestion.

Waitress was awesome. But the food took forever. Plus we waited 15 minutes to be seated and they were barely half full.

So we are here quite a bit. Sunday breakfast. On point. But tonight. Wow. The food was HORRIBLE. Undercooked fries, OVERcooked prime rib to the point you could barely even tear ordered at med. med rare. And the baked potato was cold in the middle. Cook did not take accountability at all. So so so sad. We love it here and can honestly say, I won’t be back for dinner again. There is maybe 10 people in this whole place. How is your food that inconsistent?!?! Davina is the only reason worth even coming back. Thank you to her!!!!! We appreciate your amazing drinks and good company.

Jake's is the latest in a long line of restaurants on this site. They didn't change much on the inside from the last place. Service was great. Food was good. Hubby had the walleye and it was very tasty. I had a club grinder, toasted. The photo in the menu showed it on wheat bread. It came on a white hoagie roll. Not sure why, but that was not what I expected, so one star off for that reason. The location is great in summer when you can sit on the patio and look out onto the lake.

Great breakfast, had the burrito, hash browns were tasty as well. Pretty sure I heard Milli vanilli on the radio, nteresting breakfast music choice 😂

Have been two times. . .not in a huge rush to return. Went for breakfast and it was okay-portion wise very huge, but my hashbrowns tasted like the burgers and onions from the night before. So that was a downer. Second time went for lunch-didn't get a sauce with our appetizer and for the price of the cheese curds it ended up being over $1 per curd--we didn't get too many. Lunch food was okay, nothing to really brag about. Husbands burger was undercooked when he was half way through-so didn't finish. The atmosphere hasn't changed since this place opened. We do enjoy happy hour in the nicer months out on the patio--the only spot with a lake view at this lake side spot! We will return, but not in a huge rush to make it our go to spot

👍👍 My favorite place in Center City! The staff treats you like family, the food is amazing and its located right off North Center Lake. The little smiley face potato that you get with every basket is unique and is definitely something I look forward too. Its sure to put a smile on your face😃

🫤 Odd menu, high prices and meals served on sheet pans which overcrowd the table. I did not finish my meal as the food was just not very good. Service was great and so was the Margarita. I will not be back.
