We travel often and have stayed at excellent and not-so-great hotels. However, the Holiday Express hotel at this location is the worst place we have stayed in during our thirty-eight years of marriage. The housekeeping and the maintenance staff have TERRIBLE demeanors and people skills. A guest staying in the hotel you work in is NOT an interruption to the business. A guest staying in your hotel is why you have a paying job. I did not read the reviews because we have stayed at other Holiday Express, and they have been adequate. However, I decided to read the reviews and the complaints in the online reviews were exact as ours. What an unfortunate experience. We will not be staying at any Holiday Express after this regrettable experience.

This place was awful. Overpriced, dirty, mildew smell everywhere, no service—the staff were on their cell phones every time I saw them even when engaging with customers. The gym was dirty, there was no water, the equipment didn’t work, and they never stocked wipes or spray to wipe equipment down with. The breakfast offerings were pathetic. The door to my room would alternately not lock at all, or not open. I’m seriously disappointed in Holiday Inn and can’t see myself staying with them again. To add insult to injury, they inundate you with emails for services and ads and their survey feedback system is so long and detailed you would need to take a day off work to fill it out—indicating they really don’t want feedback. I’m still waiting for the emailed copy of the bill I was promised upon checkout. They want you to log into a website (which requires creating a profile) to do anything. Avoid at all costs. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz , but this was a third world experience…and I’ve traveled all over the developing world.

Front desk personal was friendly and attentive and the breakfast and coffee was pretty nice but doesn't compensate the bad conditions of the hotel room I got, the whole room smell like cigarette and humidity, carpet was completely dirty, my kids took of their shoes and played around the room, early morning next day I noticed their foot sole was completely black because of the dirt in the carpet, water was leaking from the bathtub creating a mess every time we showered, bathroom door didn't close and not all of the lamps were working. The day the room was cleaned the carpet remained untouched with dirt all over it, it seems that they never vacuum the carpet. The 2 times we approached maintenance they were no help at all and me and my family were really tired to engage in any type of discussion, first maintenance saying that the smell was not cigarette and continuously raising his voice denying the smell then later my kid taking the elevator with bags in his hands and asked the same maintenance person to please mark the second floor and get completely ignored and later get laugh at him for not speaking spanish. People at the front desk seemed scared to say anything at the maintenance person. It is a good hotel but it's lacking of upgrades, someone that actually does a professional cleaning and maintenance. My wife got sick with a very bad allergy and sore throat and I think it was because of the conditions of the room but will be hard to prove, definitely not staying here again.

This Holiday Inn Express has to laminate their OUT OF ORDER signs! $1000.00 for 4 nights, this place is bad. If it were a hundred dollars a night place for families it would pass. I am satisfied with the cleanliness. The pool is cold. One elevator has been broken. The other broke last night. Had to climb the stairs to the top floor.. Do not expect their signature cinnamon rolls. Breakfast is subpar. The maintenance department seems to lack knowledge and foresight. My kids couldn't get the room key to work. The head man came to the room and the key worked. You just need to keep trying the key until it works. Maybe jiggle the handle.

Pretty gross. Bed had black hair and black fuzzies (from sweat pants or socks??) All over it. Floors in room were really gross with stains. Bathroom didn't even have a towel rack. They just stacked 3 towels on top of the toilet. Room door looked like it had been broken into mutliple times. We had to push it hard to get it to close and lock. One of the elevators smelled like barf. If we happened to get that one when we hit the button I just jumped on quickly, pushed a button, and jumped off. Then we'd wait for the other elevator. My wife kissed me the morning we left with our 3 kids and said, "I'm never staying at a hotel this gross again, my love." Thankfully we only stayed one night. Very disappointing as I always stay at Holiday Inns because the beds are guaranteed comfortable. And the beds were comfortable. Just everything else made me regret this booking.

My mom almost slipped and fell in the shower when she first got in it! It had some type of liquid or soap in it that they didn’t clean up, I almost fell from the chair it was broken and the other chair had a crack. The lady argued with us calling us a liar saying that she always check the rooms after they clean them up but if she did the room wouldn’t be the way it was when we first arrived. Pool was cloudy and dirty, the gym smelled funky and equipment didn’t work and was outdated, the hallways smelled as well, we asked the housekeeper for help and she completely ignored us, I can keep going. Idk man whoever runs this hotel doesn’t care about the guests! Get it together you’re playing with peoples time and hardworking money! Beware!

Highly disappointed! I arrived with my family and we noticed immediately, the smell and the cut up couch seats. Upon continuing to go through out room, it was clear that this hotel is old and outdated. We asked for a new room simply because it was not a pleasant room to stay in after seeing all that. Needless to say, with the rooms being old and outdated I felt we were not comfortable their. I did not sleep well and couldn't wait until we left that hotrif place!

The Hotel Needs a lil' attention in the rooms bathrooms, Especially the bath tubs in rooms 409 and 514! The water ran on in both rooms, the tubs were in DIRE NEED of REPLACEMENT! Other Than That, Christopher, Oscar & Genderly were AWESOME! There was a Gym, the pool is rather small but, the area has kind of limited space. Ample parking, Breakfast was Great! Miss Bessie kept everything fresh and full! There was a mini mall within walking distance, a Total Beer & Wine was there several restaurants a grocery store

We arrived around 10/11pm due to our travels, the first room we were put in had paint equipment in the bathroom, on the counter & floor. I went to get another room then we were moved to the second floor with 1 bed & sofa bed, I went to the restroom & saw a small roach. We immediately left that room & were told those were the only 2 rooms available so we settled for the paint equipment room until we could get a different the room for the next night. The next morning we took all of our things, that night we were moved to a different room, the bathtub was dirty & there was hair on the floor. I wouldn’t stay here again, especially not for the price.

Had a reservation and also an IHG member, but had to wait over 3 hours for room. Our 1:30 time wasn’t up yet, but a random guy came in WITHOUT A RESERVATION and got a room! Finally, were able to go to room, but key card didn’t work very well. Then inside room, seemed ok at first. I was very tired from traveling and was looking forward to soaking in tub. 🤮🫣😱I did NOT WANT TO EVEN STAND IN IT FOR A SHOWER! Very disgusting looking! Old and needs replaced! Upon looking around the room, AC had huge gaps around it, bugs of all kinds could get in, mirrors were not very clean, faucets in sink had sticky, slimy stuff on them, carpet had dirt beside bed, walls had mold in bathroom. On the bright side, bed seemed decently clean. Next morning, tried to get coffee at 6:00….NO COFFEE, NO BREAKFAST, NO GRAB AND GO! I mean, this is the first hotel I’ve been in that DID NOT HAVE COFFEE IN LOBBY! 😡😵‍💫😢 They really should NOT be on IHG register.

Book a 2 queen bed room for a week for myself and my 2 friends. When we arrived we signed to have housekeeping services daily. The rooms are very dirty. My feet were black after walking around the room within the first couple hours of arrival. We asked for the floors to be vacuumed multiple times. Housekeeping only came in 2 times during our 8 day stay. We also saw and reported seeing roaches in the room. The front desk person that answered told us that we are on the main floor by an exit door and that the roaches come in that way. No offer to attempt to place repellent or move us rooms. For the money I would look for another location.

This is a neighborhood Holiday Inn right in the middle of a residential area, but they are not neighborly at all. I was having construction in my house and needed a place for my daughter and I to stay a couple of nights, we would also need to bring our 2 very small dogs (chihuahuas!). The hotel manager refused to make an exception and let us stay. We will Never refer this hotel to our numerous out of town family again. Why bother having an Inn in our community if you don’t allow the residents of the area to stay.

Room needed a makeover. Show was very hsrd to turn on and off. The ceiling needed to be redone various stains. Bath tub drip water. TV was not clear and went on and off at times due to the cable attachment. Last night, their fire alarm went off at 8:14am. and continued until 8:35am. No advice us if there was a fire or not. Maid in the hall called the front desk and told us what had happened. With the fire alarm going, the elevators stop working. We were on the 4th floor. It over and hour fir them to work, they had to have their engineer come in to fix it.

Nice hotel, off the main road, so it was quiet. Not to impress with the room for the room rate. The room did have a small frigerator. There was a couch and small sitting area. Bathroom light barely lit up the room. The gym was small, with a basic stationary bike and an elliptical machine and some free weights.

Rooms are big and comfortable. However, the entire hotel feels outdated and dirty, especially the hallways. The biggest redeeming factor is the staff, always friendly and willing to help. Breakfast selection is good and offers healthy options. Parking available.

A great experience. Breakfast had lots of options. Room was cleaned very well. Pool was clean. Parking was easy to find. Staff were friendly and professional. A very underrated hotel.

Although the staff was friendly and the breakfast was delightful, the hotel is in dire need of updates. On the 4th floor, there was an unpleasant smell, and our carpet remained soaked throughout our stay due to a leak in the air conditioning. This experience differed significantly from any previous stays I had at other Holiday Inn establishments.

Drove from Orlando to enjoy a weekend with family in Miami only to receive the hottest room in this hotel. The A/C was not working in the room. Called the lobby and the person at the lobby stated the hotel was completely booked. Her response was “ The hotel is completely booked I can give you a refund so you can look for another hotel. Great suggestion when your traveling with kids! Also, since I booked through Expedia then she stated call Expedia because I can’t do anything for you. Great customer service here! Stay clear of this establishment.

The plus side of this particular Holiday Inn is location , food, and staff. The staff is friendly and helpful to people. The food is fine and includes the usual muffins, breads, pancake maker, eggs, etc . And the location is close to the turnpike, shopping areas, etc. NOW: If you are ok with a place that is under-going some re-modeling, then you should be fine. For example: One of the two water fountains in the lounge was not functioning, but they put a sign for it. When I needed to get ice from my room on the 3rd floor, the ice machine was covered under a tarp of sorts to be repaired. When I went to the floor above, the ice machine had no ice. I then had to go to the first floor. Please understand, I am not complaining but simply stating my experience. I cannot speak for the smaller rooms, but only for the suite with the king size bed where I stayed. It was comfortable. You could tell, though, that the room is kind of weathered and needs some work here and there ( scuff marks, areas that need a paint touch-up, etc.) Again, the staff here are wonderful people. They helped this lady well who needed assistance in getting her breakfast. She let them know that the orange juice from the machine wasn't right. I tasted it myself and it was a bit sour. But they got on it right away by replacing it with a fresh container on the machine and the issue was taken care of. Overall, my stay was fine and good staff. If you are ok with the re-modeling features, then you should be good to go.

The front desk staff are the standout item for this establishment. The included breakfast is in second place, with pre-made omelets, biscuits and gravy, and other standard items. Rooms are okay, but are in need of refreshing (paint/wallpaper, minor damage, etc.)

Upon arrival, was given key to an occupied room. Very concerned staff quickly offered apologies and issued keys to another room. Unfortunately, that room was recently painted and the fumes were awful. The window was open and we couldn't close it. Once again, we changed rooms. After a hot shower to relax, opened the bathroom door. The steam set off the fire alarm. A wonderful maintenance gentleman was able to disconnect the alarm for us. Never had an experience like this at an IHG hotel before. The front desk staff were very responsive to all these problems - professional, apologetic, helpful and concerned. My family laughed and now has stories to tell.

If I could give tel his place zero stars I would. I had the worst experience imaginable. Management is terrible and does not know how to handle issues. I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The first night there was a dead bug in one of the beds. I advised the front desk and At that point I had to wait for management which was 2 days later. When management addresses the issues he has know empathy or resolution for the issue. There were no face towels in the facility I was constantly advised they didn’t have any. The water in the bathroom tub dripped all night and I was advised it was due to the facility being old. The toilet had mold in it. The washing machine was out of order. It was the worst experience ever and management was completely unprofessional and did nothing to resolve issues or concerns

Room very nice, beds comfortable. Once the bathroom is remodeled, it will be perfect! Breakfast selections were good and plentiful. Staff present, friendly and quick to help.

Absolutely disgusting. The rooms were nasty. Mold in the shower and bathroom. Service was terrible. When we brought it to the front desks attention they told us there was nothing they could do.the water fountains were out of service and the machine in the lobby was turned off. There are no chairs by the pool and it looked as if the pool hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Would not recommend or stay here again.
