Try not to talk bad about companies because everyone makes mistakes. But I’m really upset at this point. I went to the gym and said I wanted to try one day end up paying out $400.00 + dollars. And the manager act as if he had no clue what is going on. I told them that because the gym wasn’t clean which was feb 7th that did not want to continue come to find out they never removed my card and charged me $217.00 twice. Without my approval. Update I’ve tried giving this gym multiple chances. Some staff have great attitude and are welcoming, but for a gym to charge what they charge they should have enough staff to keep the space and members in check. Since Covid they have not been the same but yet the price is still the same. Putting a sign up isn’t enough not even staff or trainers re-rack. I suggest like many other gyms start having staff watch the cameras an walking up to people and let them know to re-rack. And the bathroom mold , trash I can go on. Where is the SOP for staff should get here 2-3 hours before opening or stay 2-3 hours after to clean and re-rack. I’m sure if people see staff trying gym goers will try. And front desk God forbid something was to happen no one is ever at the front desk in the morning I can see if you were cleaning or offering customer service but no. This location simply needs to be put under new management and proper staff training and needs to invest in branding that promotes re-racking and ambassadorship with staff and gym goers.

Love this gym - sincerely worried about the direction it’s going for the price I am paying. I have been at UFC gym in Kendall for over 1 year now and the overall experience has been great. Boxing area, lots of machines, great classes, big yoga room, training area, etc. It really has something for anyone trying to actually work out and break a legitimate sweat. Amenities and layout - 4.5/5 However, each month it seems like they are trimming down services. Bathrooms are ALWAYS dirty and never have paper towels, member reward points have just been removed, weights are constantly missing or never racked properly, machines will be broke for weeks on end, sauna is constantly out of service, staff doesn’t seem to be bothered by much, and the list goes on. All this with one of the highest price points I have ever paid for a gym. Gym service value - 1.5/5 The overall presentation of the gym experience has amazing potential, but there is a layer of grime over everything and it only seems to be getting worse. If they lowered the high price and/or kept the gym cleaner, I think it would be fair. Until then, I would highly consider the cost/value factor of this gym in comparison to other gyms before signing up. I might not be back next year if this trend doesn’t change

I am becoming a regular to the Fight Fit and Kickboxing Conditioning classes. I hate the fact that I can't stay to help clean the mat area as the cleaner they use triggers my allergies 😕 as does the hand soap (the reason there's a bottle of hand soap in my purse). I wish the cleaning products they used didn't smell so. Otherwise I'm enjoying this gym

I went in today to find out prices but the guy was really rude and completely blew me off.. I asked if they had a brochure and a list of prices or classes but they did not and failed to provide any information, as I went inside today to find out how to join. Needless to say I will not be coming back here, they need to improve on their customer service. if they're going to stay open for business. The next time someone comes in to find out information about joining just be a little bit nicer and have the information available..

Took my child to UFC gym in Kendall to learn MMA. The “instructors” there do not have the level of compassion and patience that’s needed to teach kids. Money isn’t a concern to me but honestly, they aren’t worth what they charge, and everything there seems like a money grab just because they are UFC. I will look for a MMA school that actually cares about its students and customers.

Rude people work here. I left a long time ago and tried a few different gym passes and I never got the feeling of having to move out of the way when an employee was walking towards me constantly. I'm 30 and most of the gym users seemed my age or below. Didn't feel comfortable here. Love the Planet Fitness down the street.

Where do I begin. At first I liked UFC gym. It was convenient and open 24 hours. Equipment was better than most and loved the platforms they had. However, the culture of this gym is atrocious. Trainers seem to be more preoccupied with female customers more than anything else. The water fountains pour lukewarm water. The sanitary stations are few and far in between and are either missing paper towel or disinfectant, and this was prior to COVID 19. Of course they are opened now and expect everyone to go back. If you call to cancel, they will ask why you want to cancel as if there is currently NOT a pandemic going on. Additionally, they will be raising prices of memberships to 60$/month. However, i highly doubt They will be adding additional equipment or services with this new price either and we don't know when they will return to 24 hour availability. All in all, this gym perpetuates the cliche stereotypes of unprofessionalism certainly not worth the $60/month. There is no communication regarding new rules and regulations for gym use. Last official email was in April of 2020. Since then I have only received emails regarding upgrading my membership though, so go figure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. #supportyourlocalgym

My son who is 17 got allegedly a month to month membership and they won’t let him cancel. He hasn’t been at the gym since March. We’ve called explained we had COVID they said no problem we will cancel. Then my son went and they said you have to cancel within 10 days from the billing day. He’s gone twice and it’s never the right time. Then eve though my son hasn’t gone they charge you $105 one month then $78 another day yesterday they charged me 129.00. In order to cancel you’ll have to make a mental appointment and go in person and be prepared to pay an extra month. Then let’s talk about the fact that he paid for a trainer that was always late and always rescheduled stay away from this place. Old equipment and the place smells horrible, not even sure they clean it. Oh and they charge you under different names so when you dispute the charge they can charge you under a different name. This way even if you cancel with your credit card they can keep charging you. Total scam. Stay away.

PAY ATTENTION to your bank statements. When I downgraded my membership, since I was not using the classes I've been charged twice every month! They promised me a refund in 10 business days, it's been already three weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund. When called to find out what's going on with my refund they didn't even know what I was talking about. Very unprofessional customer service!

My husband and I have been members at this gym for 3 yrs, and it has gotten progressively worse. Equipment is thrown all over the place and never reracked. I think this fault lies in both the gym and the members. The members because they don't have gym etiquette and are self-absorbed and can't be bothered to put equipment where it belongs, and the gym's fault because you have all these employees walking around doing nothing. No signs posted that equipment has to be returned to where they moved it from. For me, It is incredibly frustrating that at 5 am, you are chasing equipment, and my husband goes at 11 am, and it is the same. It is a shame because it's a good gym close to our house, but this problem has us reconsidering renewing.

Is a shame you have to provide at least 1 star. These guys are the worst. If you sign contract with them good luck trying to cancel, there is no way to do it by the website, you have to go in person. Be careful cause these guys really want their money even if you don't go to the gym for months. They send your debt to collection.

If you’re looking for a place to workout, UFC’s Kendall Gym is the best place to do so. The prices are solid and the gym is accessible 24/7. Either you can sign up for classes or workout on your own or with friends/family. You sign up for classes on their app which is easy to use and has your barcode to access the gym. The options here are endless. If you want to do weights, they have a lot of machines for you to use along with the weight room (see below). For cardio, you can do some work on the turf field or go on the bike/treadmill. The atmosphere is great at UFC. There’s always people working out and the music is up date playing rap and pop. Yes you’ll hear some Mo Bamba on occasion which is ok. The best time to come is in the morning or in the afternoon because it’s not jammed packed but not empty either. Usually the machines I want to use are available and the longest I’ve waited is about 1-2 minutes. The staff and the classes offered are solid. I have done UFC’s classes DUT (Daily Ultimate Training) and TRX multiple times. DUT is always hard but it’s a great cardio and weight workout. TRX is a good cardio workout as well. DUT is UFC’s signature class and they have it everyday, but know that it takes a lot of energy out of you which is the point of DUT. Be prepared when you come to this gym, you’re gonna work.

Beware! You can sign a contract and the contract can change at anytime. HOW? I HAVE NO IDEA, BUT THEY DO! I then attempted to cancel and that's difficult itself. I went in person to cancel as told to do so to find out I continued to get charged. I called and apparently my paperwork was lost because there is no record of me going in person to cancel. I'm now waiting for a reimbursement that should have taken place. I fully regret signing up with UFC GYM. They are scammers.

I love this gym. Beautiful people, super nice and friendly. Big gym, even when it’s packed surprisingly you can still do your work outs. The gym is always empty Saturday-Sunday. Prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for. Lots of machines. Very professional gym overall and clean. Only complaint is that there is never any paper towels in the paper towel dispenser like… I see janitor people walking around and cleaning ALL the time but there’s never any paper towels. Not even in the men’s locker room

I love the atmosphere at this gym, it's a great place to train, and large spaces. Lots of changes shown after the new director's arrival. His professionalism and attitude are awesome. Also his therapies, once he offered treating me and it was much needed and much better than expected, all the equipment used and his performance were awesome. His effort is noticeable, this is definitely "his thing".

Again this gym continues to disappoint me! Been a member since they opened and recently it’s been down hill. All the good staff has left to either other gyms or transferred out to the other location. Half of the machines are broken. Weights are all over the place, you spent more time looking for the weight you need then actually working out. Cables to most of their machines are loose or broken. This place doesn’t even have cable attachment clips for all the cable machines, again you have to go on a search party for those too. Lack of machines compared to other places is horrible. It’s sad to say that I used to be proud about saying I worked out here, now it’s a joke to me to mention this place to anyone. The cleaning crew here is rude and kick you out of your workout space for them to clean a floor or the machine that you are currently on. Don’t bother coming here, you would be better getting a membership somewhere else.

What ever your dreams are , here at UFCKendall you can achieve them. Knowledge staffing and greater open space to get creative and crazy on your workouts routine. Ask for Melvin, he can get your heart racing again. Super clean and great selection of machines. plenty of healthy snacks and refreshments available in the first floor after a great workout. For beginners or experts here you can have it all.Plenty of parking and easy access from Kendall or 107 ave. LuisNaranjo

I do not write reviews but this truly has to be the worlds worse gym. I’ve had past issues with them prior when they stole 400 dollars from me because instead of using it for the actual membership they applied it to a personal trainer. Then refused to refund me the Money they owed me. Secondly I tried cancelling my membership and they had me pay an additional 44 dollars for cancelling. You will TRULY BE LOSING YOUR MONEY. It’s up to you if you want to take the advice.

I went to UFC because a friend invited me and after taking David’s kickboxing class I was hooked I lost over 30lbs with his advice on nutrition and his classes. As I got stronger I started to take his DUT classes too which are FIRE! Coach David is dedicated to the success of his clients and to his classes! I highly recommend this gym and this coach!

Keep raising my membership prices. Equipment is always broken for months at a time. They got rid of the protein shake rewards program when I had thousands of points left in my account. Really gone downhill over the years Edit: adding photos of equipment that has been out of service for months. Someone had to cut a squat pad in half to apply it to the hack squat so we could use it again. This place is absolute garbage.

The new fitness director at UFC gym has redefined my gym experience with his positivity, knowledge, and engagement. He not only knows his job well but also excels in making every gym-goer feel valued. During our training sessions, he pushed me to my limits with a considerate approach, demonstrating a perfect balance between challenging and understanding my capabilities. What stands out about him is his ability to create a sense of community within the gym. He pairs each member with the most suitable coach, adding a personal touch to our fitness journey. UFC is clearly not just a gym anymore; it’s a community.

This gym has gone down hill the last year and keeps getting worse. Half of the equipment is broken, weights are never racked, bathrooms never have paper towels, janitors are always talking and arguing in the women’s bathroom and never actually working. Sauna works half of the time. When I approached the front desk about broken machines, a girl told me that the gym never hired a worker to maintain the machines in the new year. She also said the gym’s plan was to let everything break for a while and then close the gym for an entire month in order to fix it. Front desk people don’t even say hi or realize you walk into the gym - half of the time they’re sleeping, on the phone or not there at all. To make matters worse, they have the audacity to increase membership while the quality continues to go down.

Love UFC GYM Kendall. Love the Vibe. Love the Energy. Love the people. Tried other gyms but never felt at home and as happy as I do at UFC GYM Kendall. Thank you to the amazing managers, coaches and staff. I would especially like to thank my Personal Trainer, who happens to be the Fitness Director, Alex Hernandez for helping me reach and maintain my fitness goals.

When can we expect a renovation and refreshment of equipment?? Also, you guys HAVE to truly give it a good scrub down, everywhere and after that maintain cleanliness.. no reason to have black hands after every workout. Also, sauna definitely has smell of mold.. Other than that front desk staff is always friendly and NICO is ALWAYS HELPFUL AND WILLING TO HELP.

This gym is a scam! Tried billing me after cancelation for months, and I quit the gym the same day I signed up because they tried to sell me a million different services and begged me practically so I could get a “free” t shirt. This gym puts a stain on the ufc brand.

I love this gym! I’ve been training here for a couple months now with my trainer Yessenia. She is absolutely amazing, sweet, and super knowledgeable about gym training. She always pushes me to do my best at the gym and even gives me advice on how to live a healthier lifestyle outside the gym. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. All the machines are always super clean and organized. Wouldn’t want to be with any other trainer!

Unfortunately after going to this gym for over 3 years, there was an error in billing my card and developed a past due balance of $150 while I was stuck outside of the country due to Covid. When I tried to call them to resolve it the manager was less that helpful in getting me back up to date with the payments. Now I cannot freeze the account or cancel it because it has to be current and they have sent my account to collections where it will be continually billed every month. Will be in contact with the BBB due to their Deceptive business practices.

Why are they discriminating... whatever age shouldn't be allowed.. if ur watching ur kid rules should be applied to everyone.

Awesome Gym. Everyone is cool. BJJ classes with Marcelo are phenomenal and everyone welcomes you. They got so many classes happening during the day. The best part is the day care. For those who say the staff isn't friendly, that probably because your annoying and no one likes you.

Hey guys I PROMISE “CHANGE IS COMING” with the newest fitness director and a whole new team of trainers. With members pushing the boundaries of now not only have certification to become a trainer but education: BA. in exercise science, Master degree’s in physically therapy and recover, and a nutritionist on site to tailor custom plans. I understand things might have been on the decline but I promise you relate this message to the fitness director and you won’t be sorry about the enthusiasm and passion he puts into his work. TRAIN DIFFERENT, and DIFFERENT WE WILL BECOME.

Be Careful!!!! They scam you out of an extra month when cancelling. Their customer service, sign-up, and cancellation policy is subpar to say it nicely. They told me I can cancel as long as it is within 30 days of billing period. I paid first and last month and I cancelled before the the first 30 days and the next month could be charged and they still charged me an additional month. 3 months charged for 20 days of usage.

Mostly everyone there is super fit and in shape which is a testimony to how great the gym is. The machines are easy to use. There is plenty of space and they have a class for whatever you're into. The trainers are actual athletes and practice what they preach. Definitely a place for a person of every level. Whether a beginner or already in a cage fighting or competing professionally.

I've been going to UFC Kendall for almost 4 years. Both Coach Mali and Manny have been instrumental in my fitness journey. They have fostered an amazing community through Fight Camp and their classes. Fight Camp is the best place to put to practice what they teach you in skills and techniques with other people that are also looking to grow as a team and community. Overall the gym is clean and enjoyable to visit, but the music is often too loud and the water bottle fountain has been malfunctioning lately.

I will not detail the subpar gym experience as others have detailed them already. However, I would like to take you on one of the most cringe worthy moments of my life. I had initially been with the Fight Club gym in Doral, and now that I had to move to Kendal, I was beyond excited to find out that there was a UFC gym close by. I reached a deal with Jason on a membership that supposedly includes access to MMA classes. I was then surprised to see that my membership does not actually include this as I was asked by the trainers to pre-register on the app before class. When confronted with this, Jason told me to not worry about that, and tell the trainers "that Jason said I can join since there is something wrong with the system". This was demeaning to say the least (i.e. having to explain that to every trainer) That's not the worst of it... I keep receiving incessant calls from a California number that I intentionally ignored, believing that it is another robot call, that is until I heard a voicemail urging me to call back. It had been 5 months since I'd called to ask the gym to cancel my membership due to COVID, which they said they would honor. When responding to this mystery number, I come to find out that it is a COLLECTION AGENCY. The man on the line pretty much told me to either pay or screw up my credit. I was obviously fuming and called them. The person helping on the phone stated that this would need to be handled by her manager, Emily, who would not be available till 7. So, ladies and gentlemen, after a long day's worth of work, and them screwing up, I have to drive down there and on lady Emily's own time, coz you know, screw me, I am just the client that pays their hard earned cash whom they screwed over. I show up, and decide to pay all the months that I supposedly owe just to have this go away. I've never had this happen te before when cancelling, I strongly suggest you try Fight Club before considering UFC. UFC gym in Kendal: INEPT, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND OUTRIGHT OBNOXIOUS!

The facilities are great, the trainers are good. The classes are very good. But management sucks. It is super easy to get a membership but extremely difficult to talk to anyone about billing or membership issues because everything has to be done thru the managers that are difficult to get a hold off.

I started here 3 months ago and can strongly say this is the best gym I have been in. I've been to Planet and Youfit but they don't come close to this. The gym is most of the time clean and there are abundance of machines to use. One of my favorite things of the gym is the platforms where you can squat and deadlift. But the best thing of the gym is the personal training. My personal trainer was Coach Khan and he has pushed me to my new limits. I have now lost 20 lbs and am in the best shape of my life. If you can afford a personal trainer go to UFC Kendall and go with Coach Khan the training is well worth it.

UFC gym has a lot to offer. There are a lot of different workout areas and cardio classes. Keeps my workouts from getting boring since there is always something new to do.

The staff was super cool and inspirational. I didn’t feel like it was just about my money, I saw a passionate staff Alex, Carlos, and mike especially, they treated me like family and didn’t know me I was just on vacation. The atmosphere is so positive, best experience I ever had at a gym! 🏆

I signed up to this gym with no intention to pick up personal training until I met with Coach Mali and knew after a month of training with her that I wanted to fight. With her patience, compassion, and technical knowledge, she made me feel comfortable to pick up a sport I had no intention in pursuing. Through her, I met Coach Manny and I couldn’t be happier with Fight Camp/sparring classes in which he teaches combos, defense techniques, and cares for each and every one of us that attend. If you’re looking for great personal training, kickboxing classes, or looking to fight, I’d recommend these two in a heartbeat!

Even the cleaning people can give you a new membership but if you want to cancel that membership you’ll have to get to the CEO of UFC. Big scammers...

DISGUSTING GYM. Machines are worn out and constantly out of order (some even have bite marks on them). The water fountains are full of scum and mold. The free weights are so dirty that your hands will turn black after using them. There is a complete lack of hygiene and gym etiquette at UFC gym Kendall. The staff and clientele need to do better.

Just sad that this location doesn’t want to invest the time or the energy to clean, maintain, or train employees. The front desk doesn’t care. Managers don’t care. They lied about going back to 24hrs. Not blaming them only, because some of the gym goers don’t respect the place either but why would you if the employees don’t either? For what they charge you should have; -During peak hours •2 front desk •2-3 people walking the building •1-2 Maintenance or make sure staff understand the basic cleaning is for everyone. And on the 24 hour day •2 people who rotate. And the equipment is just going downhill. And what makes it worse, is that on numerous times, they are late to open. If doors open at 6 AM you should have someone in at 4:30-5:00 to properly set up.

Dont get lost & go the fell . They tricked me into signing up. without specifying any conditions There was an additional deduction 5 days after applying, as he confirmed upon application that this was the total cost. I tried to cancel and they rescheduled the appointment. Giving the reason that one person has to wait to cancel the service. Every time you want to cancel u can't do it They gave this reason more than 3 times. And finally I canceled There is still another charge to be made. They said I had to cancel before 21 days. In total I used their service 10 times but they deducted more than 400$. Don't know if they call it a scam. I don't know what to call it.
