First time at this location, and the donuts are just as good!!! Awesome spot!

This place has been on my donut shop bucket list for several years. They have a top-notch selection of unique flavors that are always changing. The vegan carrot cake donut a good soft but chewy texture. The pumpkin + brown butter had decent texture; surprisingly, I thought the vegan texture was slightly better. Flavors were decent but pretty mild for both flavors; they could definitely pop a little more. I'd rate them 7 out of 10. The drink menu is as extensive as your average coffee shop. My oat milk cappuccino was definitely coffee shop quality, too; I'd be happy to get that from anywhere. There's two sitting areas inside (can seat about 10) and a picnic bench outside. This is a solid shop, and I'd be willing to explore much more of the menu.

Pros: I was really excited to try these artisanal handmade donuts and was not disappointed with the taste and quality. They were flavorful and a good portion size. Cons: My only criticism about the donuts is that the white chocolate? on the bottom of the tres leches donuts could have been sweeter and less waxy. - Another criticism is how difficult it was to find parking since the lot in the back of the store is small. - I also think that having your menu clearly visible to customers would greatly expedite ordering at the register. (They had one laminated menu at the front of the register). - The vanilla bean latte was just okay. It had a nutty and bitter after taste and did not taste at all like vanilla. Overall, I would return to this place because the donuts were great but would probably skip the coffee.

As a donut lover, I can confidently confirm that the donuts here are top notch!!! Visiting Miami for the weekend, I had to hunt for a fun donut place, and The Salty Donut was worth a 20 min drive. The donuts are: HUGE 😁 Fresh ⭐️ Unique ✨ Loaded with great toppings 🍩 I had a Hazelnut, which was loaded with a Nutella like filling. The actual donut was a soft, yeast donut, which was very satisfying the bite into. Chocolate icing, brownie like crumbles and a couple of hazelnuts coated the top. My wife had the Brown butter and salt, also very delicious! It was somewhat similar to a butter cookie, only in donut form. We also tried both types of donut holes. The cookies and cream was a bit better for my taste, although both were great. After 2 donut holes and 1 donut, plus a coffee, I was very full. I picked up a Tiramisu and chocolate chip donut for dessert tonight, looking forward to that!

She got a strawberry shortcake donut and a matcha lemonade. Total was $13 before tip. The lemonade was really good. She gets one regularly at Starbucks but liked this one more. The donut was also delicious! The wait time for drinks is a bit as there’s only one barista and they are pretty busy. When we left there was a line out the door. The employees are very nice though. We parked in the back (I don’t think there’s any parking in the front). Parking is limited. The interior is nicely decorated and comfortable. The store was clean. There’s only one big table inside, but plenty of seating with umbrellas outside. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I came here for the first time and I loved the ambience. The staff were so helpful and they answered all my questions. They also have a promotion for new customers where you get a free doughnut if you download their app. It’s a warm, friendly donut store with delicious, delicious donuts!! If you’re in the area you have to stop by! They have really unique flavors and everything is incredibly fresh

Always have a great experience ordering at salty donut. Absolutely delicious. They have fun seasonal flavors and great year-round offerings.

It was amazing, the pretzel with cheese is the best one I've had recommend trying it. Also the guava and cheese had the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The tres Leche was good too but for me it was too sweet.

Some of the best gourmet donuts Miami has to offer. Portion size and quality with a great price point. Also, they are not accepting cash so card payments only. I was able to find free parking towards the back of the establishment but there is metered street parking all around.

This was our first time and the team were friendly and helpful! We ended up getting the tiramisu donut (1000/10) and the donut bites which were very delicious as well. I got a cappuccino and I appreciate that it only comes in it’s standard size and no one asked if I wanted a large 😄

First time here... outdoor seating is very convenient on these times. Good music, relaxing place. Donuts 🍩 are definately worth tasting! I lo e the bread and the fact that everything is made on tbe site that's why they recommend to consume within 12 hours. Intelligentsia Coffee found here and is part of the female founder group Parking can be challenging, but you will fund your way. If you are a tourist, you can use alternatively the metro rail which is just in front of the store

Creative flavor pairings, great toppings, get them fast because they sell out! I’ve tried the brown butter, guava, tres leches, and the GF chocolate chip cookie. Also for non donuts I tried the sweet potato pop tart - one of my favorites. Flaky and not too sweet. Really like these donuts, I’ve gotten them twice now and they haven’t done me wrong.

I got 5 different ones (including a pop tart) - every single one is absolutely delicious. Hands down 10 put of 10. Price/quality is very fair. Can’t wait to try the rest of the kinds! And the box design is very nice. P.S. the donuts are on a dense side, which I prefer.

Always fresh yummy and great staff. They are always nice and welcoming even on busy weekends. Parking is a pain, but if you’re patient you can find parking after a few minutes of waiting, or use their app and park in their small lot to pickup. The donuts are never too sweet, and their 24hr brioche anything is delicious! My favs are their seasonal items and their take on pop tarts, WAAAAAYYYY better than store bought. You will become a regular once you try Salty Donuts!!!

He embodies the The Salty brand boldly and he’s the only reason I paused my Uber driving to stop at the shop and pick up the new donuts. 5 Star Superstar you are Jonathan. Keep shining! Loved the donuts but definitely go earlier in the day for the most variety because they do sell out! I placed an order around 3-4pm on Sunday and they were basically down to 5 flavors out of ~15. I can see why they sell out though—they look super nice, taste delicious, and are actually very sizable & filling donuts (the box of 4 felt so heavy I had to make sure there were only 4 in there 😂). Definitely excited to try out their other flavors in the future!!

Guys please try the maple bacon and chocolate hazelnut. Soooo good. Pretty place. Their coffee is very strong. Service always good and fast.

Easy to use app. Quick payment and fast service. Coffee is made right when you get there so it’s fresh and hot. Delicious and worth it!

WOW! Drove 30 minutes to finally try these famous donuts. SO good. Even my husband who isn't normally a sweets person, said he wish he'd had two lol. Will definitely come back. Customer service was also great :)

Awesome selection of delicious doughnuts! We have a hard time selecting “just one” every time. 😃 They’re fresh and super delicious, a little pricey but they’re insanely good!! These are not your typical doughnuts, they are gourmet and are handmade. They also offer vegan and gluten free options for people who have allergies. The shop is well maintained and clean. There’s only one big table inside, but plenty of seating with umbrellas outside or you can take out. Parking is a nightmare, very difficult to find a spot. I suggest finding parking further away, and walk off the calories ahead of time you will soon consume!! 😃

I hate writing reviews, but this morning I ordered from the South Miami location through the Salty Donut app. I ordered 4 donuts: brown butter, chocolate chip, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon cereal latte donuts, with 2 drinks: an apple pie chai latte and maple with brown sugar cold brew. Let me tell you, when I received the order, the two drinks tasted like dirty water with syrup, and it was so dark that the cold brew didn’t taste like it was supposed to; it tasted like coffee with the apple pie syrup and water, and the chai tasted like water with the apple pie syrup. Keep in mind I said no ice, so I was extremely disappointed because it tasted so bad and was so watery. I checked, and it didn’t come with ice, so I don’t understand why it was watery. So all three of the four donuts were good except the cinnamon cereal latte. It was not like the picture; it tasted like a glaze, and they just added the crispy rice treat. I am far beyond disappointed. I have been a day-one customer. This is what happened to the company when they began expanding; they didn’t pay attention to small details, and the workers didn’t really care how they did the drinks. In the picture I provided, that’s the supposedly cinnamon cereal latte donut.

This place is great! Super cute, clean, the staff and managers are SO friendly and attentive despite the place being quite busy! Their Banana cream donut…omg, fantastic! I have visited quite a few times at this point and truly so love this place every time. Recently went with friends and they agreed, Salty SoMi is BOMB.

Delish I had the strawberry with fresh strawberries so good, banana cream was good and plain glaze was good

We’ve gotten the Versailles ropa vieja bun before and it was amazing. We got them again today and we’re a little disappointed. The flavor was good but there’s barely any meat inside. Last time it was almost full so either someone over filled them or under filled them.

Pumpkin season, and I love it. I have to try the pumpkin spice latte and it was great. In my case I want it a little hotter. And they were really nice to make another one just hotter.

The doughnuts were tasty but nothing special. The staff was nice and I liked the store. There was only limited parking available.
