Nice climbing centre! We got a day pass to use the bouldering area, which was decently sized with enough problems on it for an afternoon session. Their rope climbing area looked fantastic, lots of auto belay and different routes to choose from. Look forward to coming back and trying them out. Would recommend :)

Once upon a time, The Edge was my favorite place to spend time and grow as a person through the hardship that is rock climbing, and the social aspect of the sport that forces you to befriend all kinds of people. Over the past few years, the gym's environment has taken a serious turn for the worse. The lack of a complete setting staff is becoming a glaring issue that worsens the ambiance due to the issue of the gym getting repetitive. With the recent raise in membership prices I would expect them to be able to hire more setters to combat this issue. The claim is that the uptick in membership rates is due to inflation (which is understandable) and for the new Kilter board. The Kilter board has been one huge band-aid for the glaring issues that have continuously cropped over of the years. The fact that members (paying customers) do not have access to changing the angle of the board is a travesty. This is a feature that is fundamental to the enjoyment of the board. The management at this gym has taken a toll on the mood of the staff and even more sadly, the mood of the gym. The severe disconnect between what the members want and need and the management, is a glaring issue that needs to be addressed by ownership for the sake of the gym's well-being. I believe that due to the fact that they have a virtual monopoly on the sport as a whole in South Florida, they make non-sensical decisions about how things should be run because they know we all have to simply deal with it.

First time visiting and I was greeted warmly! Shown around by the sweetest young lady and she explained everything thoroughly. I was climbing in no time. All ages and experiences welcome. Plenty of parking.

I love this gym, this is my Home gym, I come here every time I’m off, I do the monthly membership and I just love everyone and everything about it. Very fun routes. Some walls are a bit difficult, but there definitely are some that are do able.

I went here to do something different and fun with my girlfriend and it was a blast! I must say the experience was made amazing by Mark who guided us on all the safety rules and gave us great tips and tricks to make the most of our climb. He periodically checked in on us as we stuck to the beginner friendly walls. I will definitely visit again. Thank you again to Mark and the staff.

A wonderful place to train your mind and body. This gym has great staff and fabulous layout. It is built with a roof you can lead climb and that makes it one of the top gyms for sport Rockclimbing. I love this place.

My family goes to The Edge 1-2 times a year. They do have an annual membership option if you're interested. We wait for the Groupon deals. The gym is clean, and the staff is friendly and willing to answer questions. They keep their climbing structures and equipment well maintained. I have also noticed that they change up some of the climbing experiences from year to year. The entire family enjoys the vibe and the workout. Best to go when they are first open to avoid the crowds. Later in the afternoon, you may have to wait a bit to climb a specific wall.

Super cool experience! I went with a friend who, between the both of us, we knew exactly nothing about rock climbing. The staff at the gym went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable and safe! They equipped us, trained us, and then my favorite, gave us freedom to explore, while still being available to help us when we needed. Probably one of the coolest things you can do if you're looking for a new adventure. There's something there for everyone, it's one of those places that you walk away from so glad that you went.

Fantastic gym, lots of places to climb indoor and a nice bouldering section. All the climbs are changed eventually so that after you’ve mastered what you could, you can try something new. Plus apparently it’s one of the few climbing gyms in the area. Overall pretty sick 🤙

As a regular at the Edge climbing gym, I can say that it is an excellent facility for climbers of all levels. The gym is spacious and well-maintained, with a variety of climbing walls and routes that cater to different skill levels and interest In terms of the climbing walls themselves, the Edge has a great mix of top-rope, lead, bouldering routes, kilter board, as well as a separate area for weight training . The routes are regularly changed, so there is always something new to try. Another thing that sets the Edge apart is its community atmosphere. There is a strong sense of camaraderie among the regulars, and I have made some great climbing partners and friends at the gym. The staff also organize regular social events, such as climbing in the dark and demos for climbing brands that eventually make it to the edge climbing store where they have all sorts of gear for you climbing progression Overall, I would highly recommend the Edge climbing gym to anyone looking to get into climbing or improve their skills. It's a well-run facility with great staff and a welcoming community, and I always leave feeling energized and challenged.

Nice gym. The walls are not too tall but routes are very well designed. For some reason routes felt kind of difficult to me. I normally flash 5.10 b and c but not at this gym. 5.11s are very technical and hard. I wasn't able to try any 5.12 but they look quite challenging. I had a really good time. Nice service too.

The perfect mix of lead, top rope, and auto belays. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The route setting rotation gives you enough time to climb everything while still keeping it fresh and updated. The new kilter board rocks. The gyms community is awesome, everyone is friendly and encouraging, it's the best place to climb!

the problems were fairly muscley if you like that sort of thing. they had tape 2-point starts and finishes, but everything was pretty hard to read because the holds were different shades and sometimes close to routes/problems of similar shades. that all made it hard to tell exactly what was on for each also there didn't seem to be any a/c

We were first time rock climbers and the lessons with Sebastian were phenomenal. He was both patient and thorough in making sure we knew the work around Bolay. Would definitely come back again. They one-day pass let’s you use the facility till close. So you can grab food, come back, and climb after a break

Place is pretty great , tons of autobelays for solo climbers , every angle of wall is covered to climb , good setting for the most part , friendly staff good pricing for somewhere in Miami. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because the bouldering area does not have matts and on some of the harder boulder routes it’s very easy to fall uncontrolled. If they added Matt’s to the boulder area I would change this to 5 stars

Very nice place to spend a couple of hours climbing. It was my first time, the staff is really friendly and they are very knowledgeable. They don’t have an area to chill/eat, so be prepared to eat before or after

i am a member. i took up climbing because i wanted a new form of exercise. the staff is friendly and professional. they have bouldering, belay climbing and lead climbing. i always use the 12 auto belays. that way i can just be in my own head and climb by myself. the walls are changed often and it’s cool. if you’re a first time climber they will show you what you need to know very simply and you can have a good time.

The staff are always looking after their climbers and prioritize safety above all else. In a sport with such a high possibility for injury, super grateful to the edge staff for making sure the protections in place are followed. Challenging route setting to keep advanced climbers excited too!!

Really nice climbing gym in Miami. Fair pricing, especially given how expensive Miami is in general. Lots of auto belays, bouldering, cave, good routes, clean, has yet to be too crowded. Good gym upstairs. Wish it were closer to home!
