Do not… I repeat DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!!!!!!!!!!! They are SCAMMERS!!! They will have you sign up under the impression that you will have a free trail and they won’t bill you right away . But instead you’re billed immediately before you even try out the gym and immediately put into a contract! Very high price for the plan we chose and it was taken out of our account immediately. We went to ask for a refund because we have bills to pay at home. And they told us no and if we break the contract, it will go into collections and mess up our credit!!!! Our letter says payment due on 7/29/22 but payment was taken out 7/21/22 which I never agreed to! This place is money hungry, evil and liars! DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. Unless you like to get scammed out of your hard earned money.

Plain and simple, gym was alright when I first joined but as time went on, it got sooooo packed it’s literally a club. I’m not even exaggerating it’s so hard to catch a workout here and honestly it was a great gym until it became so packed. People standing around and just chilling as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM AT ALL

If you're getting the urge for a bit of high school nostalgia, this is definitely the place to get your mean girls/mean guys fix. They boast about a judgement free environment, but everyone there has this immature clique mentality- that "you can't sit with us" vibe- it's so thick you can cut it with a knife. The few times I actually worked out there, I felt super uncomfortable to the point it nearly triggered an anxiety attack. I ended up leaving, and not getting a membership because I can't be around such a toxic environment, when all I'm trying to do is better myself. Sad thing is that it's not even just some of the members because that can be ignored easily. I think it's the staff that's the worst. You can see it in their face that they all act superior to everyone. Not very motivational at all, who wants to be around that bad energy?! I miss when that facility was 24 hour fitness. I really loved that place and how conveniently close it was to home and work. It's out of the way, but I am going to go renew my 24-hour fitness membership in Homestead, it's much better. Did a trial recently, they are so much cleaner than Crunch. People actually wipe down their machines when they finish, and the bathrooms aren't disgusting.

From the first time I entered I thought that I would never make a mistake in choosing this gym. Tremendous attention from their coaches, the classes are phenomenal, active and the atmosphere super hyper and emotional. With good equipment and everything that is needed, I invite you to the crunch class and you will see what I am talking about. Valeria, Dominic, Kelsy, Dilmarys and others of them are awesome coaches. Working together with the coaches is a wonderful and intense experience, but participating in the crossfit classes with them is even more intense and you feel like part of a family, because Crunch is a great family every day.

The worse experience ever. The customer service y support to the members are horrible. I went to cancel the training membership and they lie to me about the monthly charge. Anthony (the manager fro the training department) told me on July 20 when I when and talk to him to cancel that the payment they took out on July 13 was the last charge and a week later I have another charge . Then on July 24 when again to see him and he was not available, talk to Christian (general manager for the fitness) who was really rude because I was explaining the situation and he was looking everywhere instead of paying attention to me. Additionally he told me that he was not able to help since he goes was on the paper that Anthony did and that was I saying pretty much it was a lie. Today July 26 when 3 times to resolve the problem and see Anthony and I spoke to 3 different people which they clean their hands, no support or apology for all the inconvenience. The gym general manager was informed I was there and never came to talk to me. They left everything on Anthony hands that when I went to speak to him he was unavailable because he was doing exercise. Remember that you guys need the people to go to the gym in order to have job. But also who ever is the owner of this gym need to make sure to hired people who are professional and have a least good customer service. PEOPLE be alert and always ask for a receipt as prove of what services you ask there since they filled out the form later as fret you leave and you don’t know what they put. That is always to their benefit.

Employees are nice, gym is good. Manager is very rude an unprofessional. I brought my own barbell as I’ve been doing for a while now. He told me I’m not allowed to bring my own equipment. I’ve seen other personal trainers bring their own equipment so I didn’t think it was a big deal. I let him know if that’s the case, I’m going to have to switch gyms. Manager condescendingly said “ Okay I’ll cancel you out right now “ in front of a bunch of employees and members. There was no need for, out of all peoples the manager speaking with that tone to members encouraging them to cancel. I cancelled my membership and my sisters due to the attitude/tone. I’ve been a member since before the gym even opened. Do better speaking to people. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it

Horrible Horrible staff. I came To this gym because of a personal trainer that I Truly love that is now working here. I signed up to start personal training but unfortunately my doctor advised me that I needed to be on bed rest throughout my pregnancy and after delivery due to a surgery I’m having. The gym has decided they don’t care and have kept on deducting the money from my account saying I can use it after. Alberto and his so call supervisor that is a secret( not sure why they can’t provide his name ) are inexperienced and have very little knowledge on how to run a gym. I know I’m entitled to my money and taking the proper steps to do so. Do not sign up to this gym unless you read very carefully what your signing. Very dishonest people and company. I would rate it no stars but I need to add a star in order to post a review.

They keep charge me for more than 4 month and I call them again to explain and cancel the membership. Them a collection company call me to tried to CHARGE ME AGAIN FOR 2 MONTH I SENT THE BANK STATEMENT WITH THE CHARGE AND NEVER CALL ME BACK. 8 month later I have a collection on my account for $90. The worst gym. Don't recommend.

It seems that you guys like to make feel the guest very uncomfortable. I can understand that you want my info to register in the system, I understand that you guys need my ID to confirm my identity. However, I shouldn't be forced to enter my email, my phone number and most important. To LEAVE my driver's license in your hands while I am inside. The Worst is that they didn't EXPLAIN but they TOOK my ID from my hands and they kept it saying, that's the ONLY WAY to enter as a guest. Unfortunately, if they treat you like that first time coming by. Let me assured you. I won't register. And my advice, be aware of there rudeness. It's not nice no responsible. Sadly, many others have the same experience. THANK GOD, we are NOT in a socialist country. So, don't bother to come if you want to prevent a nasty time.

The music is way too loud. I can’t even hear my headphones. The comments say that you can tell the front desk if it’s too loud but I’ve never come in with it at a reasonable volume. The music is like a club not a gym playlist. It’s always packed and people leave their weights all over the place. The trainers hog the equipment. The comments say go to classes to ensure a spot. I’m here to work on my performance and strength using the equipment that crunch is reputable for not for a cardio session in a class. The clamps are all stolen if that tells you anything else about how this gym is up-kept. I love crunch but unfortunately I rarely get a good workout in at this location. At least the front desk people are sweet.

This is a very good gym to start at! Or if you’re getting back into the swing of things but beware of Luciano who will essentially BEG you to buy additional training services and such. If you decline nicely he will continue to keep pushing something that you already stated you would be okay without. That happened my first ever time stepping foot in that gym and ever since then he has had a bitter and unnecessary attitude towards me despite me still treating him with the respect I feel all humans deserve. However we go to the gym to relieve stress and get in our zone not feel unwanted in a gym because you weren’t interested in additional services. He gives rude looks and will greet my boyfriend whom is right beside me but not myself while he’s scanning MY membership card. Instead just give me an unnecessary and uncomfortably rude glares. The least you can do as a manager is greet the people who give you money. Every other employee there is awesome and I have 0 complaints towards. I would like to shoutout James and Christian for ALWAYS being kind and welcoming while keeping it short and sweet to take care of the other customers. James took the time to listen to me and my complaint about Luciano whom started yelling on the phone “ how was I rude to you “ when I expressed towards him kindly how I felt. Which is extremely unprofessional as a manager. I would’ve never even thought he was one considering he just walks around doing nothing every time I’m there and is the opposite of welcoming. I will continue going there for now simply because I do believe they offer a great variation of things for EVERYONE💓 I think it’s important to uplift those who spread kindness and handle things with maturity and give credit where its due which is why I mentioned that and once again thank you James for your professionalism and utter kindness.

Crunch Cutler Bay is the most incompetent gym. For 6 month I gave them $730 a month for personal training and they would constantly double charge me. I had enough and in May I cancel my personal training, in July I cancel the gym. So today 3 month later they are trying to charge my card for personal Training. But the crazy thing is they call me last week offering me a special on PT I told I had cancel. And they today a week later they want to charge me. I head to the gym pisst off spoke to Felix the personal trainer manager and I was mad he did not like the way I was spending and said he was calling the cops. And he Threatened me” I have all your information, I know where you live” And i recorded the conversation. What great customer service

I signed up for a membership with Crunch Fitness-Cutler Bay back in May 2021. I was told by the Sales Representative that my only obligation was to complete a 90 day contract, then if I was not please with the membership I could cancel at any time, as long as I provided a 30 days' notice. In the month of July I contracted Covid and I was out of commission for 2 months. During the time I had Covid I contacted the local gym and spoke with a Representative to let them know of my circumstances and asked since I had Covid and couldn't make it in person to cancel my membership by phone. They said that they would speak with a manager in regards to this situation and have someone to call me back. During that month I never received a call from anyone, but, I also did not see any attempts to debit my CC for the membership fees, so I just assumed the membership was cancelled. 3 months later I receive a text and email, stating my membership fees were overdue for $64.10. I immediately went to the Crunch Cutler Bay location to find out what was going on, since I haven't had any correspondence from the company in months. When I arrived I asked a young lady at the front desk if I could speak with a manager, she went and got the Assistant Manager Christian R. I told him my situation and he immediately went on the defense by insulting me, saying I should have had more common sense and that if this was not a subscription like Netflix where as if you don't pay the service they just disconnect you. I explained to him that I had previously spoke to one of their representatives and they said they would take care of the cancellation. It was a futile attempt to talk to this gentleman, which was about 21 years old and had no sense of professionalism. I requested to speak to his manager, which he insisted was not available. I asked for the managers name, which he was hesitant on giving me his info. I actually had to get the information and name of the GM from another Rep. I came back to that location the following day and requested to speak to the GM(Steven R.) coincidentally they shared the same last name. He came to speak with me and was just as rude as the assistant manager. I asked him to speak to his superior which he said he could not give out his name or telephone number, but, I could contact him by email. I got the email info and contacted the CEO of this independently owned Franchise. Instead of the CEO(Henry V.) reaching out to me he had one of his subordinates to reach out to me (Nicole). I swear they are running a racket and will do anything in the power to not let you cancel this membership and their the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I will never use Crunch Fitness in any location, ever again. Is there anyone, that knows the procedure on cancelling this membership?

Horrible cancellation policy. When you first sign up they don’t tell you anything about signing up into a 3 month contract. I only used the gym for a month before I couldn’t go anymore. That’s when I found out it was a contract. Besides that you can’t just cancel the membership via phone you literally have to go to the location. I went to the location and no refund was offered, instead I had to pay for the next month as well since “you’re close to the next month’s due payment date” like ?? Whatever, trash gym. Go to La Fitness or somewhere else Update to the reply: Never saw it when I was signing and the person helping me never mentioned anything about it.

I had a deeply uncomfortable experience at Crunch Fitness. I was inside the sauna with the door securely locked, and an employee unlocked the door without any prior notice after 12 minutes. This intrusion into my privacy was disturbing, and the employee repeatedly mentioned a 15-minute rule despite my visible discomfort. I promptly left the gym because I felt completely violated, especially as I was in my regular bralette attire for the sauna, and there was no courtesy knock or warning. This incident has left me concerned about the type of workers Crunch employs. I have PTSD, and this experience was very distressing. I will not use the sauna again, and I intend to address this matter by reaching out to the corporate offices. I believe there should be better protocols in place, including the use of “occupied” signs, to prevent employees from unlocking doors without notice. This situation has made me realize the importance of ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all gym-goers, including my teenager, whom I often bring to the gym. #CRF472980

Earrape music and the fact there isn't a privacy area for you to change clothes after a shower, so you have to change clothes in the wet shower area are my only 2 complaints. Bigger gym than Planet fitness, showers have hot water, unlike planet fitness, and the showers are private, unlike planet fitness.

I really like the gym. I always clean good machines and the workers serve you excellent. Only that it is very uncomfortable if you are going to take a guest to have to fill out a lot of information. I go with my wife and I have to pay her a separate membership so I don't have to do that daily process.

Pretty good gym, a lot of equipment, hydro massager and a single person sauna. There is a 15 min max on the sauna but as long as someone is t waiting behind you you can pretty much stay in it. Lockers, showers, punching bags. Lots of cardio machines. They do not take cash for drinks which can suck but over all a good place. They should probably get another sauna or a larger one

This gym is a totally and a no for me. They make you pay because they have a cancellation agreement for a 90 day policy, went there and signed the form and today the make me pay 24$ because I gave my 30 day notice 2 days later, okey. The employee that was there taking care of my case told me that I was going to get an email with the cancellation wich I never got . You take money for truthfully and decent people and this is an unfair act towards your costumer that won't come back again that's the price crunch will have to pay. I hope crunch does not take my money from my account next month. For the users of Google go to planet fitness they don't mess up if you want to cancel and I believe they have a better costumer service in General.

Guys you gotta chill with the music... i mean whats the purpose of even having it that loud??? Youre literally gonna achieve the same effect if you keep it at a decent enough range, i cant even hear myself think sometimes, ive often thought about ending my membership based off this one problem, its unbearable. Edit: Addressing it at the front doesn't seem to help, I've asked about it but goes right back up within the next hour or so... I get that it may be the branding to have lively music its just the levels is a bit much

As most of the reviews have been saying the music is beyond loud and atrocious. It's playlists from people's phones. Not even issued music by the corporation. And when it comes to the sauna, it is a nightmare. Not only are the people in the front very rude and unresponsive. But you don't even get the full-time in the sauna when you're in there. I have had multiple situations where I either walk out upset or have to wait almost 30 minutes to get into a room where no one has been in. For some reason, it's really hard for the people in the front hole. Doing absolutely nothing to check if anyone is in there. And it's even more frustrating when they look at you straight in the face and turn around and keep on talking to themselves. Knowing for well why you're standing there. I come to the gym to decompress and have a good time, and if the employees are having a bad day then maybe they shouldn't be in the front ruining everyone else's day and good experience. It is very saddening to see that the gym does not want to take any responsibility Even after multiple complaints and bad reviews. It's not hard to see what the problem is. And yes i have spoken to several people who have done nothing.

Whatever you do don't enroll into the personal training with them. They trap you into having to pay to cancel and always try to hook you to just freezing your account. Best advise is don't enroll at all. No manager has tried to help me in canceling my account and whenever you speak to them for help they say they have to charge you. Very upsetting how they don't care about their members when they are going through a situation and need to cancel.

Love this gym. Way too many people at any time of the day but it's for good reason, they have all the equipment I look for and the staff is super friendly. My trainer, Tarik, is the best I've ever had and is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Beware of signing up for personal training. I cancelled my training sessions in March and now they started charging me again. I have proof of my cancellation as well as a thread of text messages between myself and my trainer with proof. I was told there was nothing they could do about the credit card charge except to file a dispute with my credit card. They are refusing to give me a refund. They are scammers!

I have been coming to this gym for almost 2 years and I have no complaints! The staff is alwaysss so friendly and helpful and the trainers are all passionate about what they do. They have plenty of machines and amazing group classes like HIIT, Zumba, Spinning, etc l. with professional instructors included in the price. Can't beat that! Also, the manager is always present and open to help with any concerns. He even opened up the stair master and retreived my earbuds that fell through! 😅

DO NOT PAY FOR THE PERSONAL TRAINING. It’s impossible to get out of the plan, the cancellation of the payment plan is slow, and they will refuse to refund you———no matter what reason it is. No matter it’s because the trainer quits or you need to move, they will deny and avoid all the solutions and just ask you to wait. Call your bank, and it’s better to use credit cards! That’s the tip for someone have similar issues and can’t get refund. The management is a mess, the managers, one of them name is Josh, is arrogant and trying to show you their power. They do not respect any of the customers’ benefits at all, after you sign the contract! But I try to not waste my time on their problems. Always busy and the trainers quitting theirs job frequently. That’s another example for their bad management and it’s harder for members to build any bonds with them. Do not recommend. If there’s another decent gym nearby I won’t choose them. Or pay for the membership but not the PERSONAL TRAINING. In the end the trainers always tuned to be lazy and ask you do basic workout routines without any special plans for you.

I can only speak for the gym itself and that is that it is well equipped. There is a LA fitness across the street but I’d rather coke here. The equipment is always in top shape and if ever broken max a day to repair. They have free standing squat racks which is amazing as well as benches. The weights go up to about 120. The place is always clean. It does get pretty packed but what can you do it’s a gym. Great place. Wish they had more around the area.

They failed to cancel my membership and I then I got a call from collections 6 months later. Never called to tell me my payments wasn’t being made as a courtesy . I even took a guest in there in March and they never told me my account wasn’t active. They just wanted my guest money. Then they told me they would discount bill if I continued my membership with them. They say no contracts but the mgr told me I had to do a minimum 3 month before I cancel. I was a member for over 2 years and moved and this is what you get for being a faithful customer. Now I got stuck with a 186.00 bill. Because someone from there failed to turn in my form. I asked for a district mgr and she told me they didn’t have one. I called another crunch and they told me yes they do have one. Never again. Now I have to go back down there when I don’t even live near there anymore and cancel AGAIN but I gotta wait 3 months if I want a discounted rate. Wow!! Let’s see if that invisible Distirct Mgr reaches out to me.

The only great thing about this gym is the equipment and how spacious it is. some stuff are friendly others are just there for a check. I had to leave because I was charged for personal training when I never signed up for it. Either way if you just want to go to the gym without any training I’d recommend it but make sure you can afford it.

The gym is great. The equipment is up to date, I haven’t experienced any broken equipment. It is clean, they have sanitizer accessible to wipe down machines. The staff is nice and they have their favorite members. But overall It is literally a hangout or a club. If you don’t come in a group or with a partner it’s hard to use equipment, you have to wait around it’s super packed ALL the time. I mean it is a gym and people are in their fitness season but damn it’s just packed
