😐 I got to Massage Envy 10 min ahead of time but I didn’t get to start my massage until it was already 15 min after my appointment time. I thought the clock would start when the massage actually started. However, they still ended my session on time which means it was cut off 15 min early People often mention massage, pressure, time, deep, Envy, feel, Wendy, Massage, therapist, body,

The place is clean and my appointment started and ended on time. My masseur (I will not name this person) was mediocre. They did respond when I asked for more pressure, however a massage therapist is supposed to identify issues with the body and target appropriately. I have several issues with my neck and shoulders, and did not feel that my therapist provided correct relief for the tightness I have. Instead they just provided general pressure that was all over - I don’t think the therapist could have pointed to my knots if I asked. I’ve had better massages.

Justin is always so fun and professional at the same time! Not even sure how he can pull that off. He’s very knowledgeable and explains why I have certain pains in my body. I feel like a new person each time I leave there. I have only been going to Massage Envy for a short period but I have always had a great experience. Keep up the good work!!!!

I requested for a deep massage, full body with some focus on the shoulders and neck since I get tension headaches. I was assigned Ralph he only did deep pressure maybe 20% of the time. He barely massaged my neck & shoulders, mostly focusing on the upper back. Half of the massage felt like a warm up because it was under the flat sheet. I could feel my skin burn a little because he didn’t frequently reapply ointment and he did mention I was going red. His technique was a lot of deep stabbing, long & short pushes which felt like punches or something heavy sitting on my body. I do believe deep massage promote good body circulation and relief body aches but a smoother gentle & deep technique is what I prefer rather than stabbing, smacking and punching techniques. I think he might need more training tbh. Let’s just say his sharp movements did not match the smooth calming music they provide. Definitely felt like I wasted my money. Better off going to a spa in a casino for a deep tissue massage, at least it’ll come with a sauna shower & pool for the same price.

One of the best massages I have had (Milpitas location). Justin really knows the muscular system and how to get those knots out. Definitely only going to book my appointments with him from here on out.

Shirley was awesome. She listened to the areas that I needed more concentration on. And she worked on those areas very well. I felt much better afterward. Plus the refreshments in the lobby were nice for the day.

My massage was immaculate!! Wendy was the absolute best. The gentleman at the front desk showed exceptional customer service as well. Will definitely be back. Colette

Sue at Massage Envy is so intuitive with her massages. Her intention is to heal you and works very hard to cater to your wishes. Give her 90 minutes if you have lots of requests. Don't be cheap and expect a miracle if you havent been taking care of yourself. Lucky to have found her.

UPDATE: Changing my review to 4 stars due to the excellent customer service from Massage Envy Milpitas. Massage Envy reached out to me for feedback on my massage and when I told them how unhappy I was, Emily called me and very kindly listened to all of my feedback. She was able to set me up with another massage therapist who she thought would be able to meet my needs. I went in for my prenatal massage with Sue, and it was great! Sue was very understanding and very communicative and she worked with me throughout the massage asking how the pressure was and making sure she targeted all of the areas I wanted to be focused on. This was the exactly the massage I was looking for with wonderful firm pressure. Thank you Sue and Emily! ——————————————————————— My experience was pretty good until the actual massage. The front desk was super helpful and friendly from booking over the phone to checking in and the location was clean and nice. My massage therapist was Wendy, and while I believe she has the potential to give a good massage (I booked her specifically for several good reviews I read on her deep tissue massage) she would not listen my requests. The front desk asked what area I would like to be focused on and since I am pregnant my main area of pain and discomfort is my lower back and sacroiliac joint. Although I had booked a deep tissue massage and told Wendy I like firm pressure, she kept telling me she couldn’t do firm pressure on my lower back for fear it might harm the baby. Despite multiple requests by me for more pressure, the result of my 90 minute massage was that she only spent about 5 minutes on my lower back which consisted of basically rubbing lotion on it with hardly any pressure. I have had prenatal massage in my previous pregnancy with firm pressure that was just fine at other non-Massage Envy locations. As a matter of fact in birthing classes they teach techniques to your spouse for applying firm pressure to the hips and back area for relief in late pregnancy and during birth. So I dont know why Wendy refused to provide me the massage I requested. She told me come back after I give birth and she can do firm pressure on my lower back. I walked out with no relief to the main area that has been ailing me for months. I feel like I wasted over $200.

Ralph is simply the best around and the sole reason that I book more massages than my one a month! Everything about him brightens my day when I get to see him! The care and quality of his massages is worth its weight in gold. I feel lucky to have found him!!

Corporate Massage Envy members should be careful with booking appointments here since they have issues with checking details for these kinds of members. Theres little to no responsibility taken if they make a clerical error. I was miscommunicated that I had remaining credits after a session. Due to this, I scheduled another appointment for the following week, only to find my balance empty after the service was rendered. I called my home branch, who was very helpful. The franchise owner handling corporate accounts for Holistically reached out and talked to them. Only after that did they decide to take action and even then, they decided to give me a small percentage off for what was a deceptive sale. Apart from that, the aesthetician are great. Just be careful to fact check your balances (which I later realized is only possible by verifying with your home branch) instead of relying on them for this info.

Wendy is amazing! I felt so relaxed after the massage session and she got a few knots out of my shoulders. Great experience, I will request Wendy next time.

My massage therapists have been good no matter which location I've gone to, but I'd like to share that Justin is awesome! He really listens and works in the problem area. He checks in to see how I'm doing and responding to the interventions.

Tried a few different people and massage envy and my go to person is Sue. She amazing and hits all of my problematic areas. I rave about her all the time and recommend her to all my family and friends. She not 5 stars worthy, but more like 10.
