We had so much fun! The vibe was chill, the music was cool, and the Huckleberry drinks were good. Shout out to Anna for being such a great instructor! She set the tone for us all to be silly and add our own individual artistic expression! She also added neon colors so our Milky Way galaxy would glow. I would recommend for a cute date night, team builder, or for anyone just looking to get their Basquiat on!

Sid was amazing! She explained everything and was available to help. It was my sister’s birthday and our first time painting. We had lots of fun and my Beyoncé portrait came out beautiful. I feel like the next Picasso 😆 who want their picture painted? 😂 I will definitely be booking an event for my birthday! Thanks Sid!! 04/16/22

We've decided to surprise our 3 kids to paint as a family for Memorial Day weekend since my 2 girls LOVES art. My son not so much, he doesn't really like tidious work. As soon as we walked into the studio my girls already asked if we can come back tomorrow and every weekend. Holly was an amazing instructor. She's so wonderful that my kids enjoyed every bit of the class. No one complained about being bored or wanted the class to be over. My son actually loved it. He wants to go back paint again too. We'll definitely go back and do it again, hopefully Holly will be the instructor when we come back!!

I am so happy I found this place! My mom was coming to town, and I thought this might be a fun activity to do together. We had a blast! We both haven’t painted since we were kids, and this was a rewarding and relaxing experience. The studio is comfortable and well-lit. Our amazing instructor, Holly, walked us through the painting process step-by-step. We were painting a spectacular sunset over the ocean with blooming reeds in the forefront. I never thought I would be able to pain something pretty in just 2 hours, but I really love how it turned out! My favorite part was testing out color theory while mixing the acrylic paints to create different hues for the sunset. It’s a nice perk to be able to get a drink while learning painting techniques. This was a fun experience and I cannot wait to return for my next painting!

We had the most lovely and intimate day-date with my two girls at Painting with a Twist. Jenn, our artist instructor, was patient, kind, and helpful. Parking was a breeze and the studio was super cute and organized. We definitely look forward to another date here soon!

Took my partner on a paint and wine 🍷 date last night. It was super fun! The instructors were awesome and helpful and the atmosphere was perfect. They deserve all 5 of these stars.

There was a celebratory atmosphere once the painting began. I'd recommend bringing your own beverages and snacks. Please confirm with your painting coach about the inclusion of outside food and drink at the time of booking. I had a great 35th bday/ 3 yr anniversary.

Ava was amazing. She kind, patient, helpful and just an overall delight. She ensured that all of the students were well taken care of. I took my mother and it was her first time painting, Would def take another class with Ava.

Holly provided great instruction and we never felt rushed. Always there to help, provide additional paints and other items. She also encouraged us to follow our own artistic flare. Can’t wait to do this again.

Paint night was so fun! We painted the mermaid sunset, it was challenging but so fun! Lilly was our instructor she was so awesome and helpful, thank you so much Lilly!! will definitely do this again=]

I had a really fun time relaxing and painting. I have experience with art but even those with little art experience will have a great time. Thank you Anna and Deanne for the great instructions. I know I went and did my own thing in the middle but you guys made the atmosphere so nice and friendly. I will come again and bring friends :)

My daughters and I attended a holiday painting event with Kerry as our instructor. Laughter and three masterpieces…well maybe two were created. Definitely had a good time and will be back again.

Plenty of parking, quiet environment! Walked in and we were greeted immediately; everyone so friendly. Syd was our instructor for the day. She explained the process and was very patient with all of us. She slowed when we asked and reassured that every stroke made was not a mistake! She embraced my want to use entirely different colors than the rest and was very supportive! I’m definitely coming back!

I attended my first paint night with a group of girl friends. We had the most fun! Our instructor Jennifer was an amazing teacher. She was very patient with us. The method of teaching they use gave everyone the ability to leave with a beautiful painting regardless of their level of skill. I can’t wait to go back!

This was my second visit to Painting with a Twist in Pleasant Hill. Anna was a terrific instructor! She gave clear and concise instructions and played good music.

Love this place! The instructors are super friendly and helpful. We attended the paint your pet event. The paintings are so cute!

Really a fun night, retirement gathering of a couple friends/family to celebrate. We had so much fun and Anna our teacher artist was terrific. Something very different to do and quite enjoyable. We brought dessert and our own wine. There is a $20 corkage fee per bottle but it is definitely worth it. I think the themed events are the most fun like Halloween cause you can hang your creation and then store it till next time.

We were a party of 8 and had a great time. Syd was funny and very patient with our group. I would totally recommend going to one of their sessions. We will be back! Thanks Syd for making our evening enjoyable!

I must say Iilen at " A Twist of Paint" was the most compassionate person I've met in a long time. Her customer service was phenomenal. She gave us varies options. She never told us what she couldn't do. I wish her great success in her future...

I was worried I was not talented enough to make a painting even close to the instructor’s painting. They have a great program that makes complex paintings easy. They break it down & have tips and tricks that make it easy! Lilly was a fun & energetic teacher. Will definitely go back!

My daughter and I had so much fun painting our dogs into Star Wars characters. The teachers were so kind, encouraging, helpful and patient. I wish I could remember their names, I believe one was Anna. My daughter spilled her paint water and they were so nice about it and had it cleaned up very quickly. It was a great experience and we plan to go back soon.

We enjoyed the painting and the establishment was nice and clean. Thanks for staying in business throughout Covid. We are able to have such a place to enjoy. Lilly was very Bubbly and she was extremely helpful. The only thing I can complain about was the music was too loud for such an event. Lilly was very loud so we did hear her well over the music. But I’m not sure we needed the music at such a high decimal. Concentration and just speaking to the ones around us was a bit hard for me. I love loud music in other settings just not in this one. We will definitely come back. Lilly was a doll. Loved her energy

This was an fun and awesome experience. Lilly was relaxed, approachable, kind and helpful. She even shared her knowledge about techniques and broke down the steps easily. There was even plenty of time to perfect our paintings! I would definitely recommend Paint with a Twist. Plus the other teacher kindly came in to take our finishing pictures!!
