Went here with a large group of people from work. They gracefully accommodated our table of 15. Service was amazing. This place is an utter gem in Silicon Valley. The food was off the charts delicious. We ordered nearly everything off the menu. I loved the peas, the fries, the mushroom tempura, and the ethereal cheesecake tiramisu. Plenty of vegetarian options! Gosh, this place was so good. I loved the indoor-outdoor environs. It reminded me of some of my favorite places in West Hollywood. Highly recommended!

Lots of kinks to work out at the new hotel restaurant bar. It holds promises of many outdoor happy hours. Somehow the location attracts an air stream that brings wind, so bring a jacket because when the sun sets it gets chilly. The dinner menu is extremely limited and pricey. Happy hour is only one hour with $2.00 off drinks. The small appetizer of nuts, olives and dates feels just that: small and compact. The server was working to please and did everything possible to make amends for erratic timing of the dishes and inconsistencies maybe due to grand opening jitters. Fries were tasty but did not have the heat of freshly fried. There's a theme here but no music.

Landed in San Francisco, heavy jet legged. Ordered dinner and staff polite and good service. The meal was good. They love potatoes. For potato lovers, it's a place to go. Also ordered breakfast takeaway and great sizeable portions and taste great. It's a great spot with a great view and energy. Feels inclusive and respectful

This is a restaurant attached to the hotel. However the ambiance here is top notch. Way better than other establishments of this kind. The outside seating is lovely as well. The food was decent (exception of kids menu, the food needs more kids feedback). We will definitely will come back here. The wagyu dish is a must try here. The burger was well made as well.

We had a late lunch here and it was delicious. I especially liked the fries which were crispy cut flat and lengthwise and unlike any I've had before. I also really liked the aleppo aeoli dipping sauce (they had ketchup too). The garlic bread with whipped feta was also really good but I have a minor complaint that it was salty. That might just be par for the course for feta though. I also really liked the interesting savory ice cream toppings.

Had brunch & dinner here while at the hotel. Food is incredible, I hate sandwiches but choose the impossible patty melt because it was vegetarian. I inhaled the sandwich it was so wonderful. Everyone else enjoyed their food, overall great!

What a great place to host a big friend gathering! I got a reservation for 10 off Opentable and when we got there, it was a beautiful inside-half-outside seating arrangement. Good: - Loved the mushroom toast and a- so much flavor in each bite - Fan of the - The dutch baby was so light and fluffy! Not super sweet - Almond croissant had a ton of flavor and the almond filling was so good! - We got the flatbread, which was also really flavor filled - Fast service! - Beautiful ambiance and super modern upscale but the prices were cheap! - We even got to play outdoor Jenga on their lawn Bad: - The honey toast wasn't as sweet as I hoped and the flavors were much weaker when compared to the other 2 toasts - We didn't end up getting one of our orders Overall such a unique place and great food!

This place has come up a few times when looking for a new brunch place to try and we finally made it there today- brunch was great! Got an Aperol spritz, the pistachio cardamom French toast bread pudding, and some sides and everything was super tasty. The service was excellent and the space is really cool! Would go again!

What a hidden treasure! Super random location. I had no idea the hotel even existed. A friend suggested that we check it out because she had drinks there and liked it. So a group of us went there for brunch. Very happy we did. Excellent food! The service could have been better, but it was not terrible, more like the staff were new and inexperienced. Highly recommend the Dutch baby, mushroom toast, French toast, breakfast sandwich. We didn't get the bottomless mimosas, but they seem reasonably priced. Check out this off-the-beaten-path gem!!

A fabulously cool new place right here in beautiful Mountain View. We met friends at Roger last night and to say we were impressed is an understatement! I felt like I was in the middle of a resort in wine country. The vibe invites people of all ages to unwind, have some fun and enjoy delicious food and drinks. An inviting happy hour menu included both food and drink. Four friends in our party all got different menu items and it was all perfection! A diverse selection of small bites, salads and refreshing cocktails with beers and wines that even the pickiest of palates can be satisfied. There is an abundance of seating both indoors and outdoors. A variety of lawn games make the experience more than just a meal. I can’t wait until the weather cools a bit and we can sit around the fire pit that just looks like a cozy, fall night out. The service was fast, friendly and professional. We look forward to many more meals at Roger Bar and Restaurant!

Great ambience and location. It feels very nice and the property is well maintained and feels high end. The food was good but the service wasn't great. Took too long to get water etc. The prices are quite high for Mountain View location. They also charge 3 per person if you bring your cake from outside. Parking is free only for 3 hours and then I had to pay $10. Which is ridiculous. This is t San Francisco.

I was staying at the Ameswell for a conference. I have some severe food allergies and struggle to eat at restaurants. I brought my own food for the conference, but could not bring enough for the whole trip. After receiving the wrong delivery service order, I went to the Roger Bar and Restaurant. I figured the cool atmosphere and great looking food would be a good idea. I sat at the bar, and the server was very nice when I stated I had allergies. They had me write them down and have the chef recommend options I could eat. This was greatly appreciated as I understand these allergies can be a burden for restaurants. I ordered the butter lettuce salad with chicken and avocado, letting them know I have a rice, dairy, yeast, and peanut allergy. I received the meal in a to go container and was very happy. That was until I saw that there was potentially black rice as the "crispy grain" on my salad. I was also labeled "allergy lady," and the server so happened to be "Karen B." I hope Karen B really does work there and isn't the name the servers use for customers they label as a "Karen." Allergy lady was alreading embarrassing enough. I realized the salad had the allergy after already entering my hotel room. I was told any allergies would be left off the dish and was now worried. These are not fake allergies for a fad diet, but actual allergies designated by a medical professional. I was very patient and appreciative of the staff. I gave a 22% tip because I found them so helpful. I was very disappointed after realizing the mistake in the food. The ambiance is nice, but paying over $33 for a salad to end up getting the allergies wrong was very disappointing.

A few friends and I met here for happy hour on a Friday, the location is very nice! Loved the lighting/ambiance and the overall vibe. Ordering was done by scanning the QR code, which also enables us to all pay for our items separately which is nice. Note that the happy hour price doesn't show up when you look at the menu online, but the price changes to the HR price when you put an item in the cart. Seems very cumbersome, and for this day and age there is little excuse for having such an inconvenient user interface. Also $13 for a HR cocktail seems a bit high, even in the Bay Area. And I wish they have more snack-y food options to go with the drinks, instead of having to order a meal. We all ordered food as well as drinks, and with the online ordering all came with names attached so it was easy to figure out who got what. :) All items came out fairly quickly, and overall tasted alright. I was slightly disappointed that my pineapple booster didn't have any discernible pineapple taste, but it was good. The fried chicken in my hot n' crispy chicken sandwich could be a tad more crispy as well. The salt roasted fries were delicious. Service was good, the staff came by every 2-3 minutes to check on us. I don't know if the constant checking is necessary though, maybe they were trying to get us to leave to turn the table? Our conversation was always interrupted when they came by. Overall not a bad place for happy hour, but definitely have its plusses and minuses.

Such a beautiful spot 😍 I loved the ambiance. They're wait staff need more flexible hours because they were tired and they need more days off. Pay attention to your workers! Bit a beautiful spot for dates. Very cute!

Had dinner with coworkers from NYC And LA at Roger and love the ambience. We picked outdoor sitting and it was hot and the shades are too small and does not protect from suns. Service was ok and food was descent.

Attached to the Ameswell hotel. Wasn't very busy. Tried the prawns with ajillo. The prawns were cooked perfectly and I could taste the garlic. Very nice. Our table also tasted bread and 🌢️ butter, yummy.

Love the design of this place, kind of a hidden hipster hideaway haha! The service was kind of slow at first, but then out of the blue we had two servers, which was nice. Our main server was named Noah, he was super nice and had great recommendations. Their kitchen and bar have some time and tempo issues, since we got our food before our drinks. My guess the bar needs another person working behind it just to make the restaurant drinks, the main bartender probably makes their own customers drinks first. The food came out on time. The food was amazingggg super delicious! We will be coming back for the food! πŸ˜„

Many people have mentioned Roger as a place to go for good food. Didn't really think of it being good knowing that it is in a hotel. I have to say that the food was very good. We enjoyed eating there and will most likely go back. We got there around 4pm, but didn't realize they only served happy hour items from 4-6pm. We ordered some items anyway: cheese and charcuterie, 2 orders of salt roasted fries, and drinks: Rogers rum punch and attitude indicator. The fries were great especially when they are hot and fresh. They tasted well with the provided ketchup and chipotle mayo. The cheese and charcuterie was ok as it came with some cold cuts, crackers, pickles, dried fruit, jam, aged cheddar, and other finger food. The drinks were ok but enjoyed the sip I had of the rum punch more than the whole glass of the attitude indicator. We stayed for dinner: wagyu cheeseburger, sausage flatbread pizza, lobster mac n cheese, and prawns al allijo. I can only speak for the burger which was delicious. I opted to have a fried egg on top but I think that made it too messy and hard to handle. It also came with fries but they were cold when I got them and didn't taste as good as they did during the appetizer. I also ordered the drink called brandy flip. It was ok as it had egg in it and I could taste it. I wouldn't order it again. Overall it was a great experience eating there and would go back.

Came here on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is great with the open door dining and interior design. We got several appetizers. Highly recommended the umami fries. For entree, I had the mussels and calamari. The flavor was on point. It’s a bit greasy for my liking, but it’s a decent dish. We enjoyed our time here!

Really swanky / fancy place. Had a work team dinner there. Food is maybe prettier than it is tasty but in terms of service I appreciated that they squeezed us in on a cold day outside. Liked my bourbon cocktail (wasn’t called an Old Fashioned but very similar).

Came here for dinner. Dinner is low key and relaxing. Would recommend to everyone if wanting to look for a place not too busy and loud. Options are limited but it makes up with flavor and taste. We got the steak and pasta and shared a charcuterie board between all of us.

Had brunch here on Saturday. We sat at an outdoor table in the shaded area next to the nice water fountain. I ordered the father's day special, Biscuits + Whiskey Gravy served with sausage and a side of arugula. It was so good. The cup of double shot cappuccino with oat milk was nice and foamy. Service was good. We hung out in the lawn area afterwards. I saw people bringing their small dogs. The parking structure next to the hotel has plenty of parking spaces.

Service: no real service, ordering is via a website. It worked pretty well for us but we prefer service at this price point Ambiance: it's exactly like a Google office. If you don't work at Google, that might be fun. If you do, it's kind of like eating at work Food & drinks: we only had appetizers and drinks so this is just based on that and looking at the menu -Whipped feta and toast- was pretty good. We tried 2 cocktails. Neither was good, and definitely not worth the price ($15 each). Not well balanced Value: menu is in general over priced for what it is

First time going, my partner and I both enjoyed our sandwiches and fries. Live music on a Wednesday night was great too. Lots of space to spread out now and fill up when it's safe to do that again! Indoor and outdoor seating, lawn games... it seems like a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Wonderful atmosphere. It's a brand new place that opened in July 2021. The area is a campus extension from a hotel and associated with Google in some fashion. Plenty of money to make it upscale and very attractive. There's corn hole, table top shuffle board, giant jenga, and bocci ball. The drinks and food are "reasonably" priced for the area. Adjust your expectations. This is Silicon Valley, Google Area. It isn't cheap by any means. But the drinks are good. Staff is friendly. And if you happen to go on a night of a concert like we did for Phish performance at Shoreline, it's a lively atmosphere with live music and great service. Highly recommend and definitely coming here again.

We had a great dinner! Everyone was really nice and the place had a great ambiance. Flank steak was really good but maybe what we like the most was the Mediterranean Wedge Salad!

Had a great time at the Rogers restaurant at the Ameswell hotel. Lovely food and good cocktails. Betty is the robot that takes all the dirty dishes to the kitchen.
