Lake Texans is an excellent day trip from Dallas and a good place to camp for a few nights. My family has done both. There are some nice caves, rocky cliffs around the lake. I’ve enjoyed every visit!

Unbelievably clear lake, blue water like Caribbean, excellent fishing, hiking, white sands, sandbar/island. This lake is Texas’ best kept secret!!!

Such a beautiful day !! The sun finally came out !! I love coming here just to get away and relax !! Do some fishing and relaxing!! Everyone we met today was super friendly and helpful!! This place is marked down as a favorite! You can’t go wrong with visiting the lake ❤️ especially here !!

Beatiful lake, great option for fishing, swinming, jogging or just a quick weekend get away.

My Lil dog and I spent 2 nights at Willow Springs Resort and Marina near Mead, Oklahoma. They have about 12 rv hookups and numerous places to camp on the lake. There is a store about 3/4 mile away to get ice and supplies. It was about 100 degrees near the end of June.

Great place for fishing and camping. It gets a little overcrowded in the summer peak months. But overall, a pleasant experience. The locals are friendly and welcoming.
