Prof Agudo is without a doubt one of the finest teachers I have ever had the privilege to learn from. The details he reveals are what makes the difference from being good, to great. He now has a facility that is on par with his skill set. He is equal fantastic with young people as he is with pro fighters. VABJJ is for everyone, stay at home mothers, weekend warriors, kids and avid competitors, they all have a home at VABJJ! Edit: with the new remodel, the already amazing facility took it even a step FURTHER! Love it!

The best jiu jitsu academy in Wylie TX. Professor Vinicius Agudo is a great professor. I can guarantee a good time for jiu jitsu experience.

I love training with Vinny. He’s a great teacher and has incredible jiu jitsu technique. He’s also underrated at judo and throws me every chance he gets. Highly recommended

I’m Jiu-Jitsu black belt and have known Mr Agudo since his time in Massachusetts and seeing him on the scene here. He’s always been quality time kind of person where he cares about you and what you’re looking to improve upon. If it comes to life issues he is someone with a big heart. If I had children he is someone I feel very comfortable with teaching them for what lies ahead on and off the mat. As a competitor he has been very successful and certainly someone you want on your side when you’re going to compete or test yourself. Can’t recommend enough if you’re in the area!

I recently joined the VA Academy about a month ago. I’m very new to bjj and was training at another Academy prior and I can honestly say I have found my Jujitsu home!! I really like this place. I was very nervous prior coming to this gym, but once I got here I found everyone very friendly and welcoming. There’s a camaraderie here that keeps me coming back. It’s a safe space, the mats are clean, and everyone shows up ready to work. Professor Agudo is an excellent instructor and has cultivated a culture to be proud of. He explains the details of not only how but the why of the moves. I feel lucky to have found this place

So welcoming . I did open mat before comp for 4 days . but i watch class before trainng And the coaching was first class. All my sparring was first class technical roles.
