I should even be giving this 6 stars. It’s one of the best accommodations I’ve ever been to, and the rooms are clean, cozy, comfortable, and well set-up. The high ceiling allows for a mezzanine bed area on top and a wide living space at the bottom, perhaps ROSETTA’s best and most defining unique feature. Living here feels so comfortable, the ambiance is top-notch. There is a rooftop chill spot with 4 seats for each of the 4 tables, and it’s best to stay and chill up there especially at night. One gets to enjoy the view of the city. But the best of all? The staff. Yes, the staff are among the friendliest and most accommodating I’ve ever encountered, and they serve heartily. The price may be somehow of a premium but, with the rooms and their CRs, and their excellent staff, as well as being accessible to the city center, it’s all worth it.

My family, together with my fiancé and I stayed at Rosetta Guest house. We booked 2 executive rooms for a night stay from 22 July, 2023- 23 July, 2023. It was a spontaneous plan that turned out to be a perfect day. The experience was truly memorable, thanks to the dedicated staff and impeccable service. We really enjoyed our stay. I'm giving this place a 5 star recommendation as it deserves it. The room we had was homey, very clean and mabango. The net also was fast enough for us to work while staying there (just pls don't compare it to the speed abroad lmao). You can even cook and eat there since it has kitchenette and dining table. It was also budget friendly. But most of all, the staff there was very accomodating, very polite and very friendly. How they treat us, made us feel welcome and gave way for us to extend our stay despite the place full sched was something money can't buy. Please keep it up and will see you again soon! - Gee ☺️❤️

I had an excellent experience stay in this hotel. It is safe and has a tranquil environment. The staffs are very accommodating and approachable. The room is well maintained as well as the building, and it has a modern set-up. I highly recommend this guest house/hotel for those who are planning to visit Ormoc city.

Stayed in Rosetta for about a week. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. As mentioned before, the rooms are clean but small and has unique design. Free drinking water is a nice touch. It is not much but they have thought about the health of their guess that are not from the area. It is conveniently close to SM Mall, shops and restaurants. Also 5 min walk to the town's running track that is free to use. Only down side I saw is that the safe in the room is not big enough to fit a laptop/tablet. would be good to have, as more people are now travelling with laptop/tablet.

Stay in Rosetta guesthouse for 3 days few weeks ago. Room is good and clean and I love the idea about the water dispenser out side . Staff are very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate 👌 👍 🙂 Hope to see you soon 😊

We stayed at Rosetta Guest House for 21 days, and it was a very good stay. What you see in the photos on their website is exactly what you get. We love the place and the concept, especially the rooftop, and the fact that you can do your laundry there is a brilliant idea. We are so satisfied with the services. All the staff were very accommodating and kind; they made us feel at home. The location of the place is also very convenient and accessible to everything since it’s in town itself. Room and Staffing are no issues. My wife and I have stayed there many times as there's not much to choose from rom in Ormoc that Clean. The issues we always have are Bad Internet (going on for 2 years now - owner will never fix) and price is very steep nearly 65 USD a night. The street noise is horrible along with the barking dogs right next store. We drain out the noise with a sleep sounds...haha. But it has everything you need, kitchen, TV and shower.. just sucks the owners are lazy and won't fit internet, OH ALMOST FORGOT No elevator so you must lug you suitcases up 3 flights. Yikes... Staff is great, they are friendly and helpful. Only parking for 2 cars. Salamat

My wife and I stayed at the Rosetta Guest House from 25 June 2023 until checkout on 11 July 2023. The room A/C was great. The service provided by the personnel working at the front desk reception area and the housekeeping staff was outstanding in every instance! The location was a 15-minute walk, at most, to the port area and boardwalk. It was ideal for a quick visit (5 minutes) to the SM Center Mall, right around the corner from the Guest House front door. The only areas of needed improvements would be to provide complimentary notepad and writing pen; enough combined area to have soap and shampoo for the shower; a built-in ledge/shelf in the loft for temporary storage of eyeglasses, etc., and a bedside light switch so not to need to get out of bed to turn out the loft lights. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

I love the room! It is clean and cool. Minimalist in style. A great BnB for couples. The front desk staff, Tonette, is very courteous and accommodating. Delighting the customer, an unexpected trait from most front desk people, is what she showed. Parking, though, is what must be addressed, especially if the clients have vehicles. They only have 3 spaces.

I know this place 2yrs ago but for 2yrs we stayed in different hotels in ormoc since laging fullybook to everytime i made an inquiry..but this time we tried na makakuha ng reservation since nka base kme sa manila and we're planning to stay in ormoc kasi fiesta din.We stayed here for 2 days and kids don't want to go home😚..staff is very accomodating and kind...room design and space is worth the price,you will never regret to spend thousands in this place as in andyan na lahat..gustong mkatipid pwde kng mgluto..tahimik ang lugar at hindi maxadong crowded..will surely book again on our next gala with the kids.

First of all the staff is fantastic. They assist you with car rentals, shopping and keep you informed of local customs and laws. The Ormoc citizens are friendly, the city is cleaned nightly and dining at the Port of Ormoc eateries is a must. There is so much to say about Ormoc, but it all begins with staying at the ROSETTA GUEST HOUSE .

It's a great little hotel, it's like new, kinda small but the room we had#204 was nice 1Queen size bed and a large bunk bed, bathroom was good and clean, the AC was good and cold and the Wifi was strong. And the SM mall was a block away . The 1 thing was there were no windows in the room, for me it's okay i could nap in the afternoon in the AC and it was nice.

If you are looking for a room fully furnished and clean in The center of ormoc, that's good choice . Staff is welcoming too Got grocerie in The room in case of And free welcoming coffee in The kitchen Got parking placed Also (limited but they keep it for you if you confirm fast that )

Place is the place to be when you visit ormoc for business or family travel. Location is in the center of ORMOC close to shopping malls and restaurants when your meeting up with clients or friends in the city. Staff is great! Service is amazing. I recommend this place!

Probably one of the best sleep I have in a hotel. The room is clean and the bed is soft. The staff are very accommodating. Location is very close to SM. I hope they will add pub in the future to serve food. I think for long term guest this will not be an issue because they will be able to use the kitchen facilities.

Update: It was disappointing to find they only do room service cleaning per request though they mentioned they clean at 10am daily. I did not get my room cleaned any of my 4 nights other than the special request to change the towels my 2nd night. That's the only down side I had. 4 night stay at the end of a 2 week tour across Cebu/Leyte, from five star hotels to supposed 5 star (2.5) hotels, to Rosetta guest house Ormoc. The reviews are spot on here! This is easily my favorite place out of all my visits. It is very clean, modern, extra friendly staff, free clean water (jug service in the halls) for all guest (especially important for westerners that get stomach issues with the tap), and so affordably priced! Love the rooftop tables as well! The rooms are a bit small, but they are so nice. I'll be a repeat customer, and will recommend this one to friends.
