Normally I love checking out this thrift store with a wide variety of nice things! However, my last experience on Friday, Feb 10th, was very disappointing as my friend and I were deeply insulted by the sales clerk as we walked in the door. She immediately felt compelled to comment on my friend’s expression as he greeted her with a friendly hello. She said he looked mad, had a “funeral home face”, and his expression looked like most people on the north shore. She wouldn’t stop commenting on his face and her take on what he must be thinking. We were having a really nice day together until then. She was very unprofessional and insulting. We were both dumbfounded that someone would speak to a potential customer that way or really ANYONE. Since we didn’t feel welcome, we left as quickly as we could. Do better or at least keep your thoughts to yourself.

The clothes there are good but I’m sure you could get less expensive clothes at other thrift shops nearby. To be fair though, the clothes are probably at least 70% percent of what they were bought for. I was looking for cute skirts, but did not find any here. They have fitting rooms, which was really nice. I only ended up leaving with a pair of leggings.

We have been regular customers at this thrift store for years! We have found many great deals coming here, and the staff are always pleasant. Definitely worth a stop!

Cute little thrift store with neatly arranged collections of clothes, home decors, and housewares. Clean and well-kept. Excellent customer service, with warm and friendly staff facilitating one's discovery of little gems. We left a coat and Kat the manager graciously stayed beyond the normal hours to help us retrieving it.

A lovely thrift store with many wonderful treasures. The sale of donations support a wonderful team of therapists who help people needing treatment on a sliding scale. Great group of people who run the shop and make it look pretty. Be sure to check out the holiday and seasonal openers which people line up for.

Smallish store w Womens, mens, and kids clothes/toys, plus some home decor and linens. Not huge selection, but when you hit it big in Winnetka, you hit it BIG, like Cacharel sweater for $8 - actually saw it at Neiman Marcus for $250. So look sharp. Plus v nice counter service.

Tidy shop...a little small, but with quite a few nice things. The service was adequate. I wouldn't say they were friendly. The clerk did not even say "thank you" after she rang me up.

First of many visits! They sell all sorts of things besides inexpensive beautiful and good quality clothing: books, kitchen, bath, car and body care, even some electronics. And the best of all, the staff is wonderful! The ladies are super helpful. I honestly left feeling like I left yoga class or therapy.

I love this place, prices are low, merchandise is great quality, place is organized and the staff is pleasant and very helpful. Recent experience: I searched high and low (online, stores, etc.) to find a very specific white sheer long sleeve jersey for a granddaughter's costume ( Frozen, what else?) and WinnetkaThrift had one for $4, perfect size and fabric AND it had a Henri Bendel label! Unbelievable!
