Don't come here. It is terrible and it is overpriced and tastes like bass without the "b." The workers here are mad disrespectful and hate their life and so they take it out on customers. Management, if you read this, you need to do your hiring better and get rid of the current workers.

My son ate half of his sandwich and found a bug inside. They had the nerve to get mad because I ate the chips and one pop prior to knowing about the bug😒Make it make sense! Im praying my son does not get sick from this🙏🏿 DO NOT EAT FROM THEM!!! EVER! THE STAFF IS YOUNG, DUMB, & RUDE! Spread the word😤🗣🗣

The staff ignores you and seem bothered by having to do their job and make your sandwich. Def won’t be going back there, worst experience at a Potbelly literally ever. Don’t you dare ask a question, don’t you dare follow the cashier when they ask you to pay first before your sandwich is made, because if you keep the sandwich maker waiting for a moment and do as the cashier says, they will look at you like you have five heads and give you a death stare. I could tell that they were not in a good mood when I got in there, so I was trying to be extra friendly, but they were just so rude and not welcoming and just made the whole experience of just getting a sandwich so awkward and uncomfortable. like how? Haha

Worst place ever! This was the 3rd and last time there. Each time has been horrible service and ruined orders. I'm done! This last time, I was treated so rudely and mean by the order taker for no reason. He behaved so volatile and angry. Barking at me, rolling his eyes at me etc. It was very unsettling. I continued to be nice to him for safety sake. I reported this to the on-site manager but he blew me off. I should have just left. Plus when I got home, the sandwiches were burnt. Will never go there again.

The location is convenient, employees were nice, and food was good. The only HUGE downside was that the restaurant was DIRTY including the bathroom.

I must say this I know it is not right but what is right I have not been at this potbelly in downtown oak Park for the last 2 years because of the bad service I received their from black people working there!!!!! And today we decided to go to potbelly for lunch it was amazing greeted by a white person that gave us the best service and the cashier was white person great service!

Worst potbelly I ever been too… my sandwich was made all wrong and I wait all the way to got home to eat… such a disappointment… their were no mushrooms on my pizza melt and if you didn’t have why let the customer know… I asked for mayo and it wasn’t any on there! And I stop at MedMan(medical dispensary) beforehand so I was really hungry!

I got a complete wrong order today. I order a turkey sandwich, I received a ham sandwich. I got a chicken salad. I received a salad without chicken. I mean do you even look at the orders. This is ridiculous!!!

Walked in for the first time at this location. Approached the counter, a staff member in a bad mood told me they were only taking orders online. I was wondering why, so I asked why. He said because they were preparing large orders. He then said if you like you can speak with the manager. I never said anything about talking to a manager. So I was going to order my sandwich online, but started wondering if it was gonna be a long wait. So I ask a female staff if she was the manger, she said no….. I told her I had a question….. nothing happen she kept doing her job… after being ignored and given attitude I just left.

Good food good service . Too expensive . Over $10 for lunch (and I had a skinny sandwich!! And the chips and drink combo). And they want a tip. Ridiculous. Next Time I'm walking down the street to Subway.

I arrived at Potbelly Lake St. (Chicago) location 11AM a staff member told me they would not be open today until 11:30AM (there is a note on the door) ok I waited 30 minutes in my car until 11:30AM I walk in to get in line the cashier told me to check to right for grubhub/online order I inform her that I am ordering to go. Cashier responds, “We are not open until 11:30AM…” I tell her it’s 11:30AM now she proceeds to tell me “she’s not ready yet…” horrible customer service. I waited patiently for the doors to open at the time that was posted on the door for someone to be rude & unapologetic with a notice posted on this establishment stating opening today at 11:30AM

I've always liked Potbelly food and it was actually my first job. Anyways this location is run very well. Excellent friendly customer service and my online order was ready in mere minutes, faster than I thought! Everything seemed clean to me except I guess the bathroom wasn't absolutely spotless, but it was completely acceptable.

Unlike the unprofessional staff (Tamia) on Taylor Street in Chicago... I was welcomed with a smile and greeted with enthusiasm by Bradon. I finally got my Chicken Pot Pie Soup and my Chicken Sandwich. My food was hot, fresh, tasty and served with a smile. I even received a spoon, napkins and crackers without having to ask. AFTER my horrible ordeal on Taylor St with Tamia (Manager) I swore I would NEVER patronize another Potbelly. BUT as they say NEVER say NEVER. OR MAYBE because I'm NOT in Chicago and I was in Oak Park made the difference. Thank You Brandon for exemplifying what a GREAT POTBELLY WORKER SHOULD DO, ACT AND PERFORM. I had a great experience today at Potbelly in Oak Park. You restored my confidence and my palette.

The staff needs to be replaced. I walked in while it was empty and tried to order, and the staff ignored me. I waited 10 minutes and one employee finally took my order, then I waited another 10 minutes and no one seemed to be making my sandwich. I asked if they were making my order and they ignored me again. I left without food.

This location just doesn’t feel like a potbelly any more. It’s hardly cleaned, the soda fountain doesn’t work properly and the sandwiches are terribly made. I ordered a skinny Wreck and vege melt for pickup. The Wreck was 25% smaller than the vege, but both were skinnys. The vege had none of the toppings, but had 1/4 cup of mayo and mustard, this one was so gross it wasn’t able to be eaten. When we returned it they did remake it, but the second one was still gross with far too much mayo/mustard. They forgot one of the bags of chips and only filled the mac and cheese up half way. Quality and consistency need a lot of work here.

Honestly, one of the best lunch experiences I've had in the short time I've been here. The girls who served me today were amazing. Thank you.

Used the app. They said they brought my food. They did not. Went to the app to indicate my order had not been delivered. there is NOWHERE ON THE APP TO INFORM THEM THE DRIVER NEVER DELIVERED THE ORDER. I called the store and was informed I would receive a refund in 3-5 business days.

Avoid at all costs. I swear this place messes up your order on purpose. Ordered delivery, ordered a skinny turkey/swiss on white bread with lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, and a Coke. I kid you not, what I got was literally just turkey (absolutely no toppings, not even the swiss!) on WHEAT bread, with a DIET coke. Quite literally unbelievable.

Horrible customer service! I was just stared at with a blank face never can I help you, welcome, hello nothing. Staff seem to be too busy in their own conversation making jokes about the customers that were there. I expect a lot more from this Oak Park location. Since I am walking distance I expected to frequent this place more often but now I have no desire to

The black employees there are so rude. Young and very unprofessional. Who gave these kids a job? IGNIT in their own terminology

I ordered the vegetarian avocado sandwich and after taking a bite found out there was meat on it. Seriously?! The employees were also openly complaining about how they’re overworked and underpaid.

I stopped in this Potbelly's around 5pm on a weeknight expecting it to be crowded; it wasn't. Maybe that was the main clue. I saw three counter workers, two of whom spent most of their time looking at the phone and the other person doing the work. Most of the tables were filthy, and the floors were filthy. Avoid this place.

Staff members making fun of customer's appearance, basically hired bullies. There was one young man who diffused the situation and provided great service.

Food was fine but I was shocked when I came in. The music that was playing was very loud and very derogatory towards women and full of profanity. Not the typical potbelly atmosphere. The employees couldn't even hear each other. It was pretty sad to me that the employees didn't realize how that can be very disrespectful to their customers.

As others have said in their reviews, my sandwich also was not made properly and we also did not find out until we were home. We do not live close by but were in the area so my husband got me a sandwich to-go. Called to ask for a refund and was told we could have a free sandwich. Again.. we don't live near there so we asked for a refund instead. Then another person came on the phone and told me even if we want a refund we still have to come back to the restaurant, that it couldn't be done over the phone. What a waste of money and time. Never again.

Food is always fine. But walked in with the family at 5:30 on a Saturday before a movie and was greeted with some music rapping about 'sucking d!€k' which gave my 14 year old daughter quite the shock. 3 guys behind the counter, empty dining room, most every table dirty.

The staff was rude, they failed to mention they were out of lettuce. There’s a target literally across the street? The restaurant was dirty. Doesn’t seem like brand standards in my personal opinion. Should have gone to Jimmy Johns.

I normally love Potbelly, but this location is questionable. My sandwich was burnt and the mac and cheese was chunky.
