230pm yelled at no check ins until 3pm repeatedly. Hot water cycles scalding hot to cold every 15 seconds ended up lower back burnt. Noisy could here everything traffic, elevators, doors slamming, and people in other rooms. Heater barely worked and it got really cool early am could barely sleep. I suspect they had the heat off to save money. I chose this place because it was close to work. I will chose a different hotel next time.

I have to be truthful when we drove up there was a few people standing outside getting high and it was kind of shady But the rooms were fine we just needed somewhere to sleep the breakfast room was clean and it was average

Great stay in an okay room fro a great price. The room was falling apart a bit, and the smell of marijuana could be noticed from all entrances. But it felt safe, and with a quality bed. Air conditioning and a decent continental breakfast. If the rooms were up kept better with better maintenance, this was for sure a five star stay. Our main complaint was a metal bar holding the carpet sticking up into the air that we caught suitcases on or tripped over multiple times. For sure a safety hazard. That and the upset or rude people constantly at the reception.

I don't have any photos of this room, but it was clean and well organized. I gave four stars because I think they needed to change the mattress, and the person behind the desk was really nicely dressed, but his attitude didn't help. They have continental breakfast, but sorry not time to consume, so I don't know what they offer. It is like 15 minutes from the Midway airport in Chicago.

The rooms were clean and it was close enough to the stadium to Uber (not walk). An initial issue that I came across was that there were no safes in the room. I’ve never been to a hotel without a safe so this was odd…. The staff is super rude and you can expect to be woken up at 8am by a vacuum in your hallway…. I know that the rooms in any hotel have to be cleaned when guests leave but I would expect the loud vacuuming would start around check out time? Not hours before it, when people are sleeping. I’ve stayed in many hotels but I have never experienced being woken up to vacuuming in the hallway 3 hours before check out…. Super weird experience. I won’t be staying here again…!

Good people, good service and decent rooms. Stayed here 2 months and didn't regret it one bit until the bubble-headed, bleach blonde district manager(?)showed up and I'll just put it like this, our stay wouldve been shortened by a month and 3 weeks had she been here the whole time. I've met the owner twice and hope there's a 3rd time before we leave here possibly sooner than we would've liked just so I can pass along my casual observations as a Diamond Club Member and as someone who's seen persons of authority whose ineptitude is masked by riding the coattails and taking credit for the real professionals hard work and management skills not to mention warm & personable qualities when dealing with both guests and employees both of which the toxic person described enjoys trying to make feel beneath her, the keyword being "trying" but only succeeds at being an annoyance and I almost hate to give her the pleasure of hearing me say that she gets under my skin but it may be the only thing shes successful at doing around here and I hope the corporate office at Wyndham sees this. I think I'm going to stay somewhere else begining in the next couple days the more I think about it. This review shouldn't be taken negatively against Brenda, Rishi, or Adam-all of whom have been a pleasure to deal with and couldn't be more accommodating.

I shall be returning here again for future visits. The Front desk staff was very warm and friendly and helped suggesting local places to visit of interest and always was quick to respond to any problems that arose. The rooms were very cozy and well kept. Excellent Place with Excellent People, can't wait to be in the area to stay again!

Be warned…If you experience an issue and Adam is working he will be absolutely rude and do nothing but provide you with the worst customer service on the planet. The hotel does not have any hot water and when I asked Adam at the front desk about, he literally told me to take a cold shower. Did he say he would reach out to his maintenance team. NOPE. He said he was not going to do a thing and I should have taken a cold shower before so it shouldn’t be a big deal. This guy is the definition of horrendous service. How does a place manage a business with employees like this. Don’t stay here.

Definitely needs the painting finished in the room. The maintenance must be getting paid minimum wage as the repairs appear to have that much effort put in or the owner is too cheap to pay for quality repairs. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. The night guy for check-in was neither rude nor friendly. Price was a bit high for the quality of the room, but hey, I got sleep.

Charge me for a room then stated when I got there it was a 100 dollar deposit. They can take the deposit off quickly yet i have to wait days to weeks to get it back. They stated they said this up front. But it was a third party and no mention of a deposit was ever stated as I wouldn't have choose a dam super 8. A deposit is for places the homeless aren't staying sweetie. Because they can't afford that. I shouldn't be penalized anyway for something someone else did previously.

The price was okay and the rooms were cleaned pretty good but no salt in the parking lot almost fell going to car me and my son. Employees smoke right in front of the doorway although it's a sign that ask you to step 15 feet away if your going to smoke.

I had major surgery on my foot - a good part of my heelbone was removed because of an infection. My house has a lot of steps, and I knew there'd be no way I'd be able to walk up and down safely, so I decided to get a hotel room on a 1st floor. I found this Super 8, and OMG, if I have to have surgery again this is definitely where I'm going to stay! It's immaculately clean; they clean the hallways daily, the common areas are cleaned more than that, and my room is spotlessly clean. I had told them I had foot surgery, and that it was difficult for me to walk, and staff would come by my room to see if I was okay and if there was anything at all that I needed. I drink a lot of coffee, and they would always make sure my room had extra, and additional towels, etc. All the staff were really friendly and helpful; I couldn't ask for more! They also have a free breakfast of things like waffles, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese, PB&J sandwich fixin's, orange juice and apple juice in addition to coffee, hot cocoa, tea, etc. I thought this was a nice extra - it saved me a lot of money as I didn't have to buy breakfast. The area around the hotel has a lot of restaurants and businesses, so pretty much anything you might need. If I have surgery again I know EXACTLY where I'll be staying afterward - right here. When I go on vacation I am now interested to see if other Super 8's are just as awesome!

First, a damage deposit was added to my card at check in. That was a first in years of travel. We had problems with the microwave; it only worked intermittently. When we turned on the television we were surprised how poor the picture was. It wasn’t even SD quality. No adjustments helped. When I tried to get a wake-up call the phone didn’t work. The coiled cable clip was broken and wouldn’t stay attached. When I went to the front desk the clerk said he didn’t have another phone but could switch our room. Why not just go to the room he was going to move us to snd switch phones? The phone we had was labeled for room 208 anyway, not the room we were in. There were stains in the carpet and repairs to the room were done in a shoddy manner. I never understand why hotels do repairs with poor workmanship. It just degrades the facility. To add to the problem, after our stay I called back to the hotel and the clerk, “Dana,” was very rude. He asked for my email. My email is my name, which is difficult. When I started to spell it he said, “Wait, wait, that’s too much. So I stopped and just told him what it was and asked if he knew how to spell it. His reply was, “I don’t need this” and he gave me the general manager’s phone number. A few years ago I had an unfortunate experience at another hotel. It was also a Super 8. I have had good experience with the Super 8 in Grants Pass, Oregon so was willing to give the hotel in Chicago area a try. I’m disappointed. Not a good representation for Wyndham. I have pics of the poor repairs.

We stayed here for North Coast. It was great! The staff let us check in early they were friendly! The room had a microwave and a fridge. The room was clean! It’s two miles away from seat geek stadium. Next time we go to the festival we will definitely stay here again!

Do NOT take a smoke break if you're working the front desk! Between 6am and 9am you shouldn't even think of leaving your post unless you absolutely have to use the bathroom. Quit smoking or work a different shift!

I travel over 100 days a year for my job Andrew stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly. My room, a send floor king, was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Entry is via an interior door. WiFi speed was 12.5 megs up, 5.0 down via Ookla. All of the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave, small refrigerator, and a nice coffee maker with extra coffee. The hotel has a luggage cart. My digital air conditioner/heater worked well. The television had a basic selection of channels and a good picture. The breakfast area is clean. The snack and soda machines are well stocked and take cash or cards. There is no guest laundry or fitness center, but there is a coin laundry just around the corner. Also plenty of restaurants nearby. I was happy with my stay and would book here again if working in the area.

Highly do not recommend. Stains on the beds, stains on the floors. Flipped on lights when we first got in and there was roaches. Dirty and gross place...

The room was clean. However, there was a dampness in the room. It made the carpet feel damp, the towels never dried completely, and it upset my sinus every morning. The free Breakfast had few options, but what was there was good. The workers seemed nice, though I didn't see them often. And the location is right on a major road and you can hear the traffic 24/7. Also the walls aren't thick, and you easily hear others or even feel vibrations when they shut a door.

Mold and leaking ceiling spots, rusting shower bar, sticky floor still soiled from a previous guest near the night stand, TV inputs weren't accessible to connect a firestick, the remote wasn't original and didn’t control all functions, the signal from the provider was horrible on the cheap television they bought. When I called the attendant, he denied the TV remote was a replacement, there were no buttons on thebdisplay, H he was not concerned, didn't make an effort to come check or replace the remote and denied there was anything wrong. I would send a homeless dog to this place, it's a total dump.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting family. The room was clean. It had all the essentials such as a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, tv, two beds and a full bath. We slept well. The beds were pretty comfortable. We had a good experience. The traffic in Chicago was a bit rough. Yet, the location was fine. It was a pretty quick drive to our destinations. There are also several churches in the area. It was easy to check out in the morning and go to church on Sunday.

The room was nice as well as the facility. Unfortunately, there was bed bugs in the bed and we couldn’t sleep at night. We saw the bugs in the morning and took pictures, which was shown to the receptionist. However, no measures were taken and neither the management apologized.

We stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. We have stayed at expensive hotels and budget ones as well. Usually the budget cheap ones are not clean and have that dirty feel to it. So for the price of this one I was suprise to find they actually cleaned. I even had to get the name of the lady who did our floor. Her name is Susana and you can tell she takes pride in her work. The breakfast had very few options and the front desk wasn't overly nice or rude but cordial. For the price it was definitely worth it though. Would stay here again.
