Update Fri November 4 2022: lotsa after Halloween/pre-thanksgiving sales for this weekend. update on Saturday June 18 2022: people no longer need to wear a mask while entering and walking inside Jewel, however I still do wear it while I'm inside Update: People are still walking into Jewel-Osco without their masks, and unfortunately Jewel-Osco still doesn't do anything to enforce people not wearing masks, especially when the omicron variant is 10 times more contagious than delta. Jewel-Osco shame on you still!!!!

Very good store. Prices are higher than the other local shops but the products are better in quality and display. Usually its fully stocked and they offer good deals. Also, the atmosphere is great, inside and out, due to the nice staff and customers. Keep in mind that this is a white neighborhood so it's safe, quite, clean! and its way better than most of the trashy neighborhoods and towns throughout southern cook county. Also, their carts work properly and most of them are cleaned more often; something that Walmart should do. All due to good management. I'm just giving credit where it's due. Keep up the good work and positive attitudes 😇 Thanks 👍🏻

Kiara in the flower section was very considerate and attentive in helping us pick out flowers. She was obviously passionate with her job and made it a special shopping experience. Her kindness is reason alone why we will always return to this grocery store. A+ Customer Service.

One of the best Jewel-Osco locations I've ever been to! They always have the freshest produce and best butcher selections. They also have the best in-stock selections that other stores are usually out of. Quick and accurate online orders make this spot my favorite, and it's only a few blocks away from where I live. How convenient! P.S. Thank you for my perfect drive-up order, Xavier! Huge shout-out to the drive-up team at this Hickory Hills, IL Jewel-Osco! They are super fast and accurate with online orders and have never disappointed!

Diana is the worst employee I've ever seen in my life, rude, mean horrible, most unprofessional employee. Jewel No, you don't have to apologize to me because that won't change, she's always mean. Every time I come home from work with my friend, we stop at the JEWEL on 131 La grange because we are afraid that we will run into this mean person.

Hello! Finding this out about this particular Jewel made me feel BEYOND unsafe…and I have been going there for YEARS. One of the employees working there seemed nice at the time but when you looked up his name on google, one of the first things that popped up was that he had a criminal charge for at least $1,500 of theft! I dove a little deeper (as I’m a curious person) and saw that it was just within the past year this happened.. Jewel really just hires anyone nowadays don’t they? He posted photos on social media of violence and unsettling posts. Jewel, PLEASE check your future employees before just letting them all in because you need them due to the lack of useful employees there! P.S I understand there are cruel people in your area but is it really that bad that you have to lock up so many products that other stores leave on shelves for customers?! Also since I might as well put this all into one review, DAN who works in Drive up for online orders was very unprofessional when I had spoken to him a few months ago and made me feel uncomfortable about going there and really made me question MY questions as if I was always wrong.. I used to enjoy coming here for YEARS and yes Jewel has its Fair Share of kind workers but it’s been doing downhill for a long time. Wait I’m also not finished. Each time I’ve went there and something had happened..(teens stealing, etc..) They had an undercover and UNPROFESSIONAL “security guy” who didn’t even show up or do anything in the need of time of sketchy customers.

I went to Jewel on 95th and Roberts Rd Hickory Hills Il and got some chicken and tater babys when I got home the tater babus looks like I don't know what all smashed broke in pieces gross . I can't believe they would even serve these to anyone the should be shamed of the girl who packed it up member again

Everything i am usually looking for is available. Rotisserie chicken not looking the best nowadays though. Always seems undercooked in my opinion. Now seeing signs for curbside pickup. Nice.. especially in today's world 🌎. Overall, decent store!

Pretty great location for grocery shopping. Usually I can find everything I’m looking for here, and more! There is a great balance of self checkout kiosks and actual cashiers. There are plenty of workers around who can help you when you are looking for a product you can’t find. One employee in particular recently stood out to me the most. Their name was Emily I believe? I was looking to see if anyone knew where to find a particular drink that I had heard from some friends and wanted to try. Even though they work in the floral section, they were very much willing to help and turned out to be super helpful! While the particular item seems to not be sold at this store, they were able to tell me a few places that I may try and look for said item and even described what each of those sections had (whether it was the drinks in the fridge or the energy drinks in one of the aisles). They were also super helpful at recommending me flowers that I would like based on some colors I gave and questions I asked. This is definitely one of the kindest workers I have ever interacted with. I do wish that Jewel had an implement “finder” for items on their app (similar to how Walmart, Target, BestBuy, etc have a little section that tells you which Aisle you can find a specific product). Even though that doesn’t exist, this place is pretty fantastic. Would 100% recommend others to shop here!

Generally Jewel Osco are very good stores, the only exception is the one store in Palos Heights where I found out that some people especially in customer service act like you're bothering them when you ask for their help. Maybe HR could focus more on people friendly people when they hire their personnel.

It's okay, the produce is usually halfway to funky town though.

When you replace your iPass here, no matter what the person at the counter tells you, make sure you immediately register the new one to your account online, or call iPass and make sure it gets activated. I specifically asked the person if I was good to go immediately, because I had to get onto the tollway immediately after leaving, and he assured me there was nothing else I needed to do on my end to make sure the old iPass was deactivated and new one was activated and added to my account. A month later I have 40 dollars in unpaid tolls and fees from that day.

Just did a little shopping here and was pleasantly surprised with the new displays in the store for Ramadan. They were absolutely beautiful and made it easy to locate ingredients often used in traditional middle eastern cooking. The project managers seemed to be giving the crew members an overview on the displays while I was there and I was delighted to hear how knowledgeable they were about Ramadan. It was also nice to see that part of the crew presenting to the team members were Muslim themselves. It is significant that when underrepresented peoples are finally gaining positive representation, that they are also being represented by their own people. MashAllah good job jewel’s for recognizing that significance. Excited to do my Ramadan shopping at this location (:

I like the bogo meat section. Stores usually inflate prices for bogo but the prices here seem reasonable for stock up!

I needed to buy some balloons and flowers and the young lady who works in that department took very good care of me went the extra mile customer service was fantastic

The cashier was remarkable. The bread I picked out was ripped she noticed and sent the bagger for another. Made my shopping trip. Very down to earth and personable

I have usually gone there a bit late in the case of an emergency. The selection seems ok but they have less than some Jewels. Whenever I go there it always takes more than it should because there are not enough open lanes. I don't like the fact that they sometimes have only automatic lanes after 11 so I deducted a star. They should just hire more people in case someone wants a person manned line.

I was able to get in and out quickly. The staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this place if you want a quick and easy COVID-19 test near you.
