First I want to say corner bakery is one of top specialty restaurant. I enjoy everything on their menu. However this location is the worst for customer service and food. This is not my first time been disappointed with my order. But today Wednesday on 9/15 at 8:30 AM to serve my a old ripe avocado it’s unacceptable. There’s no way at 8:30 AM that you cut open a fresh avocado and I received that. They did better by not even add in the avocado. Hate to say it but I won’t visit this location anymore

I had an opportunity to revisit this location today 11/03/2023 when i got off work. I placed an online order went in to pick up and I was very disappointed in the manager. She gave me a very rude, unprofessional response when I politely made her aware that panini had only a dab of avocado on my andwich. She began to rudely speak loudly to. Because I asked for more avocado on my Panini as if there wasn'ta problem. Panini was undercooked and to add insult I Ordered breakfast potatoes that was given to me a a child's portion not worth the time or money to be given such disrespectful service especially from someone who calls themselves a manager Last time I will be returning to this location I only hate that I didn't read the prior reviews

Walked in, wasn't greeted. Davarion took my order. Ordered 5 things, got home to discover only 3 items were in my bag. Drove back, walked up to the register, told Davarion about my missing items. No acknowledgement of the error, no apologies, not a single word - just handed the two items over the counter to me. Just got home for the second time & one of my entrees isn't prepared properly - missing breadcrumbs, bacon, no parm cheese. Take your money elsewhere - no one at the Oak Lawn store cares about the food they prepare or the service they provide.

What is this Corner Bakery. I pay 12 dollars for a sandwich that is half of what it use to be? Then the chips? What happened to the original chips that come with the sandwich. Either cut your sandwich price or provide a good size sandwich. Then when I informed the rep she just ignored me and moved on to the next customer. I won't be coming back here.

Upon entering this establishment on 11/1/2023 at approximately 9:15am I was greeted in a friendly and pleasant manner by the cashier, Destiny. However, the visit took at turn with the "Manager" Michelle intervened in the transaction. When I first saw her when entered, she had a permanent frown on her face. If nothing else, I would think you should be happy that you woke up to a new day, some wasn't afforded that opportunity. When talking to me her tone was as if what she says goes, and there is no room for discussion. Michelle trying to convince me that she was relaying accurate information to me. I advised her that I did not originally place an order for my salad due to that menu not being displayed. I advised her that is when I asked Destiny for the salad menu so that I can place an order for a salad for my elderly mother. Michelle stated it an angry tone that the menu up is breakfast because it is breakfast time. This is not the issue Michelle. Michelle was trying to enforce a rule that was not stipulated on my email coupon. I originally came into this location to utilize my emailed coupon which has no bearing on my rewards account. In face, I did not have to give any information pertaining to my rewards account to utilize the emailed coupon. In addition, that coupon that was emailed has a code that the cashier would enter as one time use. When I decided to purchase (different transaction), a salad for my elderly mom, I asked Destiny if I may give her my rewards number to see if I have a $0.99 beverage available. Destiny happily checked and stated, yes, you do have a beverage of any kind for $0.99. Michelle then came over and intervened, speaking to Destiny as if I wasn't standing there, "She cannot use the beverage reward". That is when I addressed my concerns to Michelle regarding the email and the rewards. She then stated, "I am the Manager and that's how it works". I advised her that the coupon on my email had no bearing on my rewards account, as the coupon was NOT attached to my rewards. In fact, my rewards number was NOT used to retrieve the free sweet coupon. I asked her what was the number to corporate and she said, its on your receipt. That too was wrong information. There is no number for corporate listed on the receipt, only the website information. If you are going to have unprofessional, angry at the world, mad because it may be too early for them to be at work, as the face of your business and in a management position, I wish not to patronize the business. I have never had an experience such as this when I visited the Downtown and Oakbrook location. Hence, I can only assume that if you want GOOD, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL service, visit those far out locations. This is not the location you would want to come to, especially if Michelle is on Management duty. Her management skills are less than SUBPAR! She definitely can benefit from more trainings, in addition to how to speak with customers. People need to understand that it's not what you say, it is how you say it. Your title doesn't make what you say TRUTH!

So mom and dad wanted to take me out for lunch so I chose this place seeing that I pass by every single day coming home from work at first the whole ordering process as far as the menu and selections was very confusing. One has to visit that place 10 times to perfect how to order. so seeing how confused we were, we ended up ordering the exact same sandwich and was shocked to see how tiny the sandwiches were and my mother being 90 years old is a person that hardly finishes her food. She finished that whole sandwich. And said she was still hungry lol and with no exaggeration, we could’ve gone to Subway and got three foot-long And it would’ve came out to half of what we paid at this restaurant. I’m sorry to say but first and last time ever going.

I ordered an Anaheim Panini with chips, paid almost $10 for it and they put a rotten avocado in it, I lost my apetite , if it was their sandwich they were eating they would make it the best they possibly could but because is not for them they don't care and they'll give you whatever, last time coming here again.

This Corner bakery used to be good before the pandemic with people actually cooking the food in the back. Now you get microwaved cold food on paper plates. The bacon was greasy and cold. The potatoes were greasy and old cuz they were stuck together. Only think good still is coffee unless someone messes that up too :( hopefully they get it together soon and go back to précovid times

Food was good. Not too busy. One of the food handlers had her mask on her chin while she prepared food, but put it over her nose and mouth when she delivered food to the tables. Interesting concept. Is this corporate policy?

Went to the one on 95yh and Cicero and was definitely not impressed. They told me they didn't have the orzo soup for both orders, yet they brought one really burnt and it had been sitting there for hours. When we got home, the second one to go, was as bad!!! They took about 30 minutes to get our 1/2 soup & 1/2 sandwich. One of the staff members apologized for delay and offered is desserts. We didn't really care as we're nervous it would be bad. The sandwich was terrible and missing half of the chicken or not sure because it was half sandwich, it was serve that way.not impressed with this location. LaGrange was so much better.

Ok np we all had those days. But when my order was up I asked her if she had any hot sauce she didn't even say anything to me but to the cook didn't. I didn't even get hot sauce , but some kinda like pico sauce , and she laughed and then said here. Well that turned me off tried this place years ago but won't be back.

Just went in to pick up a catering order, went to the catering line, I was the only one in line. Front counter not busy, the catering manager walked passed us 4 -5 times without acknowledging us. Finally after speaking up the young lady working the register responded. Not sure what happened to customer service, common courtesy or just saying hello to the customer. It is a shame love the food but will not be back.

I had lunch with my mom. I ordered the chicken cavatapi pasta which Ive order before. It was barely warm, and the dish had no flavor, the sauce was bland and overall the food was not good. My mom who also ordered pasta had the same complaint that the food was bland and not well prepared. I would avoid spending money at this corner bakery

I went this Monday night, an hour before the restaurant was scheduled to close. A woman was standing at the front counter and yelled out that they couldn't take any orders other than online. I asked, "what if we go online and place an order now?" She looked aggravated and said," Well, I guess you can try if the system let's you". We clearly could tell that she just didn't want to serve us. We ended up leaving and went to Huck Finn's. I don't understand why the door wasn't just locked with a close sign up if you supposedly can't sell anything. I feel like so many companies lack customer service nowadays. There were other employees standing around, so atleast everyone was getting paid to do nothing.

Not so good lately. Scrambled eggs horrible and tasteless. Staff rude and unwelcoming. It's like they're all mad and don't want to be there. Good bacon but my bakery item was lackluster and unimpressive.

This used to be my favorite place to order lunch from. The food is affordable and it used to always be good. I've been having constant problems with my orders from them lately. My last couple of orders were just missing stuff. This time around its about quality. I ordered the shrimp linquini and the shrimp did not taste fresh. I Immediately spit it out. I'm pregnant and could have gotten really sick. IDK if I will ever eat at this location again.

Accommodating to large groups and kids... Was disappointed that the Chilli Bread Bowl was not available :-( Was one of my favorites ... Strange to not offer crackers with soup... Had to ask... Also coffee took a while to be brewed... They were obviously short handed as the individual that took the order, filled the order and delivered the order was from "the back" and not normally on the jobs he did... He said they were firsts for him... Otherwise food was good as usual

Two sanwhiches. The tuna was enough for on slice of bread folded I'm half. There was not enough tuna for a full sandwich. The prime rib had more arugula than meat. It was an arugula sandwich. I should have took the meat from the whole sandwich are half the bread. Basically I had two ill prepared sandwiches that was 80% bread. Never again.

Food, drink, and dessert are all fabulous and I would highly recommend eating here. Prices aren't bad for most of the items and it's all good anyways. Customer service was weird at the start of my last visit but it was good in the end. Although they've always been good in the past so I wouldn't worry. Either way, the food is good enough to come. Go try it!

Never really had a problem with this place but after today I will not be going here at all. Deleting the app from my phone. We ordered a Cheddar Broccoli soup and when I say it was sour, it was super sour. When I called to get my refund I spoke to Anna (manager ) and when I say rude I mean so unprofessional and disrespectful. She had the nerve to tell me that they make their soup everyday. That's not what I want to hear or feel a way to treat a customer. Then she made it seem like I was in the wrong and there was nothing wrong with the soup.

Really good sandwiches and salads. All fresh ingredients. The bacon tasted really good, and turkey is thick. Fruit was all really fresh and not mushy.

I think about this place like 5 or 6 years before, and I don't know what happen to the food? The sandwiches are bery simple and no the same flavor they have before, same the soups to. And is sad cause was one of my favorite places to eat sandwiches and soups.

Corner Bakery is not what it was, It was one of my favorite places years ago! I don’t know if they changed Chef, owner or something is really pricey they served now in plastic plates and really really small portions, my 2 bowls of cheddar broccoli soap was super watery even my 7 year old son said it. I wouldn’t go again, next time go to Panera way better!

Food was ok but greassy. If this is your 1st time I would recommend to go somewhere else. It's not worth what I paid.
