This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was very delicious. The mole enchiladas were just right with a little kick. I had been craving some mole enchiladas and I made sure to ask if this mole was sweet to which the girl responded no so I decided to try them. It didn’t disappoint! My husband had the giant quesadilla, the tortillas are made fresh. He was very pleased with it. He also had the chicken milanesa Cemita and boy was he surprised. We recommend this restaurant. As soon as you walk in it gives that good vibe. They do NOT skimp out on the meat! Their horchata water is perfect not too sweet and not too plain. They have a variety of Mexican sodas and I noticed they sell beer as well. Well worth the money!

Great authentic Mexican restaurant. Very clean environment and beautiful paintings. Had their guacamole as appetizer and it was delicious 10/10. Also tried the carne enchilada cemita and it was delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try more food!

I waited about 30 minutes to receive a taco dinner with two extra tacos and a drink. It's overly priced. The taste of the food is generic. For the price, I could have gone somewhere else and got 2 dinners with 3 tacos in each dinner for $30+ . After eating the food, the rice is terrible. The beans were not even in the container, so I couldn't even try to eat it. Tacos were generic. The horchata was very water down tasteless. There is a better taco joint east of that location. Eat anywhere else, but this location. My wife agrees with me as well.

The food here is authentic, delicious, and excellent Every time. Everything is fresh, down to their authentic Mexican coffee. I don't mind waiting for my dishes, especially when it includes meat. I know they will be fresh. Their guacamole is top quality. A great appetizer while you wait, and comes with the best tasting chips. People wait longer at much expensive fancy restaurants. These are decent prices for the quality you get. Even for something as simple as tacos, these are the highest quality in the area. No chopped up taco meat here. The owners and their son, have such welcoming hospitality and excellent customer service. I had the steak fajitas today. So delicious!

The food is always delicious. Every time we order, we have to bring home some guacamole and chips! The guacamole is always fresh and the chips are crunchy and warm. My favorite entree is the steak torta. I have found their steak to be tender and tastefully seasoned. Cute atmosphere, alcohol served, friendly employees. Highly recommend.

Nasty, Stay Away!!! Nastiest Meat u can find. Ordered a barbacoa burrito barely any meat with half of it chunks of fat and 3/4 lettuce. Owner came and said it just a little fat, did not offer a discount or replacement. Photo shows only a portion of it was about double that, with only little braised beef. You're better off going to the mexican place in the shop and save plaza few doors down from Baskin Robbins. Mentioned issue to friends and they said they've experienced the same in the past. Wish I would have known beforehand. Editing post to add I got food poisoning from here from this meal. Never Again, need to have the health department do a surprise inspection.

Food was GREAT! Steak meat was definitely seasoned nicely. Haven’t had a good taco or burrito in awhile? GO HERE! Owners are also definitely the sweetest people.

We always go to la iguanita the best in Chicago/surrounding areas but it’s quite a drive. Today I discovered cholula in my town and I am MIND BLOWN. So happy I gave them a try! Cholula is in its own lane completely! Unlike other Mexican restaurants who just boil their steak instead of the real way on the grill. My god and the fact that they are so close, they just gained a lifetime customer! Delicious, amazing, truly authentic food!

First time here, we came specifically for the cemitas and they didn't disappoint. They were very authentic and tasty. We also ordered a pambazo, which was also good. The service was good and the place is clean. We usually go to Aurora, but we are glad we found a place that's closer.

This is the best Mexican food in the area. Family owned and everyone is super nice. Usually at mexican restaurants, there will be a few good things on the menu. But here, everything is not just good but incredible. Once more, no one else in Hickory or the 3 Palos can compare.

Well tried some tacos from here like last week so decided to come out to Palos to eat at the restaurant and all I can say is that they're food is really good it taste like real Hispanic food even though the service was not that great and you have to wait a bit for your food I will most definitely be back it's a long drive for us but it is worth it hopefully when we go back it is the same cuz we all know some times things change . But if you are in the area try them out they pretty good...

Decided to finally give this place a try. I ordered 5 tacos de asada and 1 taco dinner with asada tacos. The taco dinner comes with two tacos and rice and beans. It was priced at $11.99. I felt the serving size of the rice and beans was a little small for the price of the dish. Besides that, the food was really good. The meat was flavorful, and all the tacos were packed with meat. (Kind of made up for the taco dinner only coming with two tacos.) The service was also very good. They gave us plenty of salsa and limes as well.

This has always been our gfavorite place for tacos, living outside of Chicago is hard to find good Mexican food and this place was a nice discovery BUT BUT BUT for some time I've been ordering take out and by the time i get home i MISSING TACOS from my order, it's always a different excuse, one day I'm missing my beverage, another day they miss the limes etc etc It's upsetting making an order for 4 people and someone ends up missing their meal because they are not careful, I always thought it was rude from my part to check my package infront of them but I think I'm going to have to start doing that infront of them. In one ocassion I claimed my tacos back but it's a 20 minutes drive for me and the way gas prices are right now, it gets more expensive to drive to get them than to let my money be wasted. Be more careful filling out your orders people you are playing with my feelings here!!

Went for the first time today to try this place out. I got the taco dinner (grilled chicken) with fries instead of beans and flour tortillas. The people here were super kind and friendly. The food was probably the most fresh out of all places i've ever tried and is very much authentic. The prices are very much affordable and worth it for what you get. The tacos are very big. I would 100% recommend others to try this place out!

Cholula is delicious!!! Its a family owned business and we love that!! ❤ They care about it because it's their own. The food is delicious, the service is top notch. Reasonably priced. It's a hidden GEM in a tiny strip mall.

I recommend everyone to avoid it from afar. if you don't believe, try it yourself. I was there twice, the first and the last.

Being a vegetarian and also having a preference for gluten-free foods, I was pleasantly surprised with the number of choices that were available to me. Service was friendly, the chips/salsa was tasty and portions were good. I'd definitely go back there if I'm in the neighborhood.

😠 Bad customer service. I’ve called in for 2 meals for 2 people, but when I came in they mixed up my order. Instead of 2 meals they prepped 1 meal. I wasn’t offered any alternatives, and Im not the type of person to cause a scene or make them throw the food away. So I had to pay extra $10 and wait ex...
