My mom and I tried this morning and we enjoyed it! The barista was very kind and I got the seasonal snickerdoodle latte with a turkey sandwich. My latte was good and rich with coffee flavor and the turkey was done well too but I thought it would be warm but it was still good. The oatmeal raisin cookie was delicious though it would've been better warmed, not sure if that's an option. My mom got turmeric ginger latte and she enjoyed it! similar to the one she makes at home. Prices on latte is good but a little pricey for the sandwich. They also forgot to remove the cheese from her egg cheese and bacon sandwich.

Great coffee, matcha and drinks. Tried the avocado toast. Nice seating environment. Crowded on a weekday. Slightly on the pricey side. Overall great spot to meet a friend or do some slight work

I went on Saturday for the very first time. I ordered a simple pour-over Americano and was waiting for a long time. I tipped with my payment but I was served last when I was there before 2 or 3 other people. The tip was not earned. My first experience was not good. Nice shop and good atmosphere.

I got a delicious salad. Sorry my pic was after I started eating! Also had a latte with almond milk. It was flavorful and smooth. The atmosphere is awesome- a really chill place that’s relatively quiet aside from the music playing in the background and soft chatter among patrons. I

The second time is definitely a charm!!! The menu has certainly been updated since the last time I visited. I tried the breakfast tacos without the radish pico and the peach blossom white tea and I looooved it. There’s so much to try and I’ll definitely be going back when the construction noise dies down abit.

messed up my order and don't accept cash. do better we are in America and cash per law is legal tender. support this place is supporting cashless society. second they couldn't even make a coffee right. save your money patronize a company that actually works for customer happiness not a agenda.

Love the spot and have great coffee! But it is usually full and dont accept cash. Otherwise, it is one of the best coffees in the area and a good study spot as well!

Coffee is great, food isn't. I've been to Fairgrounds multiple times and have always enjoyed their coffee drinks. I have yet to eat anything there which is worth even half the cost. The acai bowl tasted like water, the breakfast burrito was cold, and the avocado toast was a smaller portion than I expected. Would come back again for the draft lattes, elixirs, and tea but would think twice before eating here.

Love the design of this cafe, very unique in a warm and welcoming way. Their customers are steady so the staff could do with another person or so to help serve, but the service was still good, and the staff nice despite having their hands full. I only got a drink, but their food does look good. They actually have a kitchen, something that has become a rarity in most cafe stores now. Their food is freshly made, so not necessarily just frozen and thrown in an oven, which is a refreshing change. You can still get a great cup of coffee, but, instead of settling for second grade cafe food that makes your stomach curl in protest, you actually get authentic cafe food made fresh for you that you can enjoy without having to pay for an actual restaurant visit. You still get that cafe vibe that's great for inspiration, studying, and just relaxing, while also enjoying their unique coffees and food items. They do also sell coffee beans in a bag for you to take home, as well as some other cute coffee items such as hats, matcha bowls, and t shirts. They have a variety of drinks, including teas brewed fresh that can be made hot or iced, and many flavors for their coffees. Great place, and if you live in the area, unlike I do, I recommend taking advantage of its proximity to you because you're definitely lucky to be close to such an adorably unmatched coffee shop. And if you're just visiting, like me, I still recommend checking it out, it'll be worth it. (They also have swings by the counter!)

Delicious!! Perfect area to work/study with an amazing coffee menu! Such a big selection, it took me awhile to choose. I also ordered the burrito (which I totally recommend )

Cute cafe with coffee and food that always hits the spot. It’s a great place to catch up with a friend or enjoy downtown Oak Park. I only wish they had more outlets, though. I’ve come here to study a few times and can never find a seat where I can charge my laptop/phone.
