Went to this doughnut place because my granddaughters requested it. We ordered 6 donuts, a medium smoothie, a large iced latte and a large red velvet milkshake. The plusses: 5 of our six donuts were great. Carrot cake, coconut, biscotti banana and strawberry were all tasty! My granddaughter said her chocolate Nutella donut was dry. The mango smoothie was delicious per my granddaughter, and the ice latte was ok. Def nothing special. The red velvet shake was ok, however the entire reason my granddaughter ordered it was because it was advertised as having a very cute smiling marshmallow on top of the shake. Of course hers did not come with one. I did ask the server if she could get one and was told they weren't available. Granddaughter was upset and I was not happy that they were advertising showing a drink that looked nothing like the one we got. Also the drinks were very small. Larges were comparable to grande size at Starbucks. $47.00 for 6 donuts, and 3 drinks. That is very high to me. I have not visited Chicago or Oak Brook in awhile, but I do travel full time all year in the US and visit many different cities and bakeries. This was the most expensive one I have been to. Will not return but I am glad we at least tried it. Good but overpriced donuts, drinks not as shown.

Stan’s donuts never disappoint. Got a box of 6; Le Stan croissant, biscoff, maple, old fashioned pumpkin, chocolate peanut butter, and toffee. They also serve hot and cold brew coffees. Make sure to stop in for a treat!

This is by far my favorite stans to visit. It’s always so clean and I just love how everyone greets you when you walk in makes me feel very welcomed. The entire staff is amazing. They all work well under pressure and most definitely makes my day with a mocha latte.

There was a slight wait when we stopped. We had to wait about 15 minutes for an attendant to come back to the counter. The drinks were very good and well made. The outside and inside of the store were also nice and clean.

The chocolate cake and apple fritter are really good. The pistachio is overrated considering the reviews. Get yourself a chocolate cake with an iced latte. You won’t be disappointed.

The young man Josh that helped me and my mother was wonderful. He made amazing recommendations, and treated us so wonderfully. Can’t wait to come back to this location! Have loved Stan’s since I worked at the Streeterville location in 2016 - it was a brief stint, but I’ll never forget how wonderful the donuts were. Always a must have when I visit the city.

Call before you come. Drove an hour just for them not to have any donuts we want in stock. Called the location down the block same story. Clearly this store does not do inventory correctly and run out of the most popular donuts. The donuts are expensive and apparently unavailable

I understand that the store closes at 9pm, but with customers in the store till closing, it's quite disappointing to see a brand name donut shop run out of donuts because the employees are not encouraged to keep a decent supply for remaining customers.

What does it take to get a hot donut around here at 7 in the morning? Ok, even a warm donut would suffice. However, what I did NOT expect were cold, stale, and NOT good quality donuts since I was indeed at a donut shop early in the morning. I tried 2 different donuts (Old fashioned cherry as well as the peanut butter pocket) and let’s just make the comparison that after taking one bite (and spitting it out, mind you) that the donuts at 7-Eleven are fresher and sadly, better. So incredibly unfathomable for a shop that specializes in donuts. That’s $11.42 that I’d rather have thrown out a window for a stranger to have found to buy something better than what I ended up with.

Tasty donuts ! I didn’t get to try a shake but it looked delicious. The Boston creams are to die for 👍🏼 the chocolate taste like dark chocolate , which I love !

We had a wonderful experience with Joshua at this Stan's. When I called to ask about what donuts were left, Joshua was personable and patient answering my questions, even though it was nearing closing time. Then, when we showed up, he had the exact donuts we had asked for already packaged up and ready to go, so it was a very quick turnaround! Stan's donuts are always delicious -- and they were this time, too -- but Joshua's kindness was really the icing on the cake (donut)!

Almost every time my family & I come to Oakbrook Center, usually make it a habit of stopping in at Stan's. The high end donut/coffee shop boasts some freshly made greatness and despite the spike in prices, these donuts are still worth it. Venue is always squeaky clean while customer service remains top notch and keep servin' up the goodies, guys!

Overrated. Always expect it to be better than it really is.

First, I would like to say the options looked outstanding!!! I think they offer a donut of the day! Yeah!! I was informed by repeat customers that you can't go wrong. I had both the gluten free and with gluten pistachio donut! I liked it with gluten!😉 the line was long and the customer service was great! Don't waste your time with an old fashion, enjoy life!!!

Stopped in here at 6:25 pm and no one was manning the store...was really in the mood for the Boston Creme in the display but maybe next time I guess :(

Got a bad batch of donuts that made me sick. Wouldn't recommend this location.

I ordered a latte - they gave me black coffee with a tiny bit of milk. We realize you may not care about your job, but please at least make the drink people order and stop being lazy. I came back in to have it be fixed and the guy just put more cream in it, instead of remaking it. What a rip off.

They were almost wiped out of donuts qhen we showed up after eating dinner across tge way from Nandos. We had iced coffees and donuts and cookies but the service was great! Both young men were so friendly and happy to serve. I definitely will be going back! I'm attaching pics of what the kids had and what we adukts had, but their new lemon espresso donut was sooo good! I need this in my life lol the place is adorable and the donuts are really good. Great place to get a coffee too. A must stop if you are shopping. Theyre on the roof!

Anyone who says these aren’t the best donuts is a real donut snob. Best donuts in the area by far. We have a fun time coming early on the weekends (opens at 8am) and getting donuts for breakfast and eating in the mostly empty District - great for the kids to burn off the sugar high from the donut.

I went thru the drive thru this morning and spoke to Dominic. What a pleasant experience. His customer service skills are top notch and very professional. I haven’t experienced great customer service since before the pandemic everywhere you go seems to be a nightmare, not here. Dominic was very positive and had a great attitude. He’s going to go far and he deserves a raise! I’ll definitely be back!

Awesome really great donuts that are unique and suit the tastes of many. Their "pocket" donuts are the bomb...especially the nutella or buttercream filled....SUPER yumm!!

I love Stan's Donuts. I use to try a different donut every Friday when working at Lurie downtown, so when I walked in to this location, I already knew what I wanted. The staff were friendly and seating area was cozy. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of this Stan's. It wasn't "horribly" dirty, but it definitely needed to be wiped down as crumbs were everywhere. I'll definitely be back, but hopefully to a cleaner Stan's.

Their donuts are very tasty.....if you can get them. Unless you are able to get there early enough chances are they will be out of every donut you want. This has happened to me multiple times. I just dont understand why they would not make more of the most popular ones.

They don't taste as fresh as getting them straight from the city in the morning, but still pretty good.

Stan’s is a family favorite that we look forward to each trip to Oakbrook Mall, great donuts and a fresh variety — however we were significantly disappointed with the service at the new branch In Oakbrook Terrace. I PREORDERED over a dozen donuts for Easter Sunday, called the number upon my arrival as the confirmation email advised, and was directed to the drive thru for pickup. Granted I’m not a fool to think on any Sunday let alone Easter would there not be a line.... but I didn’t expect to wait 45 mins for my donuts that I preselected and paid for! The kicker is, once I got to the drive thru window I could see customers coming in to the store for orders. Extra cherry on top? The server literally tossed the decorated glazed donuts into a bag which destroyed the frosting on top. Horrible management and service.

Stans Doughnuts are always a staple stop on a trip to Chicago. I've had doughnuts from Seattle to Key West. Stans is the Chicago Chop House of doughnuts. Absolutely the best.

I am changing my review to 5 stars after I went back today and purchased a half dozen donuts to bring back for my daughter and wife. The gentleman behind the counter was AWESOME! He made recommendations, was polite, and even allowed me to get in and out a few minutes prior to the actual opening time. Fantastic!

I never get disappointed with the quality of Stan's products. But today, I was definitely disappointed in the quality of service I received from an employee named, Chris H. After I asked him to repeat my order just to double check before paying, he gave me attitude and repeated my order back to me "well that's what you ordered wasn't it?" This is not the type of customer service anyone should hire, i was only asking a simple question. Baristas should know better than to be rude in the morning before serving someone their coffee...

I went to grab coffee from Stan’s and as I was placing the order, everytime I would say something like “can you please add milk” “ can you please add half vanilla” between every sentence the server would interrupt and say “that’s it?” as if they want to get rid of me. I couldn’t finish a sentence without the interruption and after all that, they still got my coffee wrong. No milk, extra vanilla and the coffee tasted old. VERY BAR costumer service. I will not accept this and will never be returning to any Stan’s location.
