    While the food is pretty alright, the staff is an unfortunate disappointment. Our serve “ MALAKE “ was inattentive and made our night out a bit of a disappointment. My friends had first ordered for their kids, they specifically asked for lemonade but they got water instead. After about ten minutes, they finally got their lemonade. My friend ordered and showered MALAKE the advertisement of the margarita mango special , she did get her margarita until almost 35 minutes later. OUTRAGEOUS. When my friend with a small child asked another staff member if the high chair could be wiped down, the staff member said “they clean them every night” - that was a bit rude instead of offering to clean it. Our ordering was rather unsmooth, as my friend ordered the 2 for $24 and asked MALAKE to set aside the side of ribs for “togo” and while MALAKE understood, we for some reason still had the ribs brought out to us on plates instead of the togo plate order. Our food was pretty good, brought out pretty warm and rather large portions. My burger was tasty and fries were good. Food wise, it’s a nice place. Staff wise, i wouldn’t recommend. What made the night just even more uncomfortably disappointing was when we were paying our tabs MALAKE stood there, over our shoulders WITHOUT PRIVACY. Why!? She should’ve given us a few minutes to get our moneys in order and pay appropriately. My guess is she wanted to make sure we tipped her, which we did although of course with MALAKEs poor service - we didn’t go above and beyond with our tip as she did not go above and beyond with her service capabilities. I probably wouldn’t come back here on my own way, unless my friends make a trip I would but this staff is unfortunate and it makes a nice chain restaurant in town just another place where a good night out can turn into a disappointment. PLEASE FIX STAFFING ATTITUDES AND SERVICE CAPABILITIES. I know we all have a bad day, but staff should be much more respectful for bare minimum.

    I walked in with my Business Partner on New Years at approximately 9pm, the Restaurant still open. We stood at the Hostess Table for a few minutes while observing a few employees chatting behind the bar. Without any greeting, we assumed it was open seating, and we proceeded to grab a few menu's and proceed to the bar. Upon arrival, we were scolded by one of the employees who informed us that there was a wait. The restaurant was 95% empty, and, as expected, I questioned this statement by mentioning that there were many, many open tables. He informed me that there were only two (2) servers on the clock, and that we needed to wait. Being a Business Owner myself, I politely, yet assertively informed him that we wanted to discuss some Paperwork and that occupying a table or a seat at the bar would be very conducive to our discussion. Once again, we were met with rudeness and were told that each server could only have X number of tables at one time and that we needed to wait (Presumably in the atrium on a cold, January Night). I'm not sure exactly what Applebee's Grill + Bar's policy is on Total Number of Tables per Server or whether or not potential patrons can assume table seating in the event capacity is reached, but the experience in this establishment left very much to be desired. I wholeheartedly understand the importance of closing down sections and cutting costs as volume goes down, but this needs to be done with Respect and Courtesy to the patrons who choose to arrive later in the evening. I'd be willing to give Applebee's another shot and edit my review based on my experience on my next trip.

    I went back to Applebee's after so many years and ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp meal and it was prepared perfectly. I had a much better experience and the food was delicious!!! Definitely not burnt like last time. I was too hungry to take pictures but I will next time.

    The food and service was great once it was received. Unfortunately, the wait was significant because the restaurant is understaffed. Hopefully people will get back to work in the near future. Cudos to those who served us. Update 4/10/22...This visit was much better. We sat at the bar. The timing was much shorter, and the food was great. Plus, this time they had a crowd when we got there.

    If I could give this place negative 5 stars (-5) I would. We ordered a to go order and checked our food. There were chicken tenders missing. We asked the gentleman when he came back out with another order about the missing tenders and he stated "oh we ran out of chicken tenders what do you want me to do?" I asked why he didn't tell us this information when giving us the order at first? He says "so you want a refund or what?" I want to feed my hungry son. We go in asked for a manager and was told by a young lady that she had clocked out for the night and couldn't help me and also said we really don't have a manager. We spent almost 2 hours trying to get our order rectified. Dont waste your money or time with this establishment.

    Honestly the wait time was horrible my waitress was very busy and not around much but very nice lady so I don’t blame her I blame the manager for being very understaffed. But what is outrageous is the size portion of our food so me and my friend both ordered ribs but how is it that my ribs are bigger than hers I guess the cooks in the back don’t know anything about even portions and to add to that the food was room temperature isn’t a restaurant supposed have hot fresh food?

    Great server, very nice. We got there an hour before closing and nobody rushed us at all. Very laid back! Bourbon street chicken and shrimp...grilled mushrooms and onions and a fluffy mound of absolutely perfect garlic mashed potatoes. We'll being going back next and for sure I will order it again!

    Went here last night and we had a waitress who’s personality clearly showed that she didn’t want to be at work. We placed an order for drinks and multiple appetizers after waiting about 10 min to order, then about another 5 minutes later she comes to the table to say they were out of chicken wings…okay fine, so we placed a new order. More time goes by and I’m watching the bartender goofing off with coworkers and others at the bar while we still hadn’t received our drinks. She also was moving as slow as possible like she wasn’t even at work. The final straw was when the waitress comes back to the table to now tell us one of the entrees we ordered wasn’t available. Seriously if you are out of supplies at least know that in advance as a server. Since we were there for about 30 min and never received any apps or our drinks we got up and walked out. These are the same people who probably want a raise also. Would give 0 stars.

    Super nice server. The food was great and I appreciate how friendly they were towards my toddler niece. For appetizers we got mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadilla, and honey pepper wings. Meals classic cheeseburger, lime chicken, and a steak.

    I have worked in customer service for over 40 years and let me say that it was a pleasure and honor to done out at this location. The manager name Angela was very good at what she does. My wife and I came into to dine with 4 to 5 other customers waiting to be seated. Angela did a fantastic job at getting us all seated when we first was told that we would have to wait 30 minutes. I love that she put her customers first by provide great service, and from what I can see everyone that got seated was very please with the customer service Angela provided.

    Walked in at 830 pm on a Friday night hoping to get a table. My friend and I tried to seat ourselves at the bar, only to find that the bar was dirty, and also that they weren't seating at the bar. We then waited 10 more minutes at the hostess station as people piled in behind us only to be told it was an hour wait, which is suspicious as we could see at least 12 open tables. It seemed like they were actively trying to NOT seat people, so to help them out, we left and took our business elsewhere.

    When we got here on a Thursday afternoon the place wasn’t very busy. We were seated and attended to promptly. Our server Marqee was great! She got us our food quickly and was very kind and professional. I would definitely recommend this location. Both the food and service was speedy and great quality. The atmosphere was great too. The place was clean and the music was decent.

    I'm not one to leave bad reviews, let's face it, we all have bad days or have received bad news. My experience screams ONE STAR but my understanding gives them two. My wife and I entered one evening and stood there. After about 4 minutes we thought "Should we leave?" so we did. Several employees made eye contact yet no one said hello. Not a nod, nor a smile, nor an "I'm sorry, someone will be with you shortly.", "Welcome, one moment please.", nothing. We were simply invisible staring into a restaurant. I called immediately after we left. Of course, I was upset and tried to be polite but blunt. The general manager did offer a genuine apology and wanted to make it right. This wasn't a manager issue, this was a staff issue. Again, individually we all have bad days, and I respect that. But as a staff, as a unit, as a team, someone needs to be the light. Clearly, on this evening, no one shinned.

    Had a party of 7, we entered around 21:15. The greeter told us it would be a 30 minute wait. (Perfectly fine) After waiting, the designated time came and still no seats. The lady that told us about the wait eventually left. Asked another server and he told us 45 minutes. This being after the half hour we sat. Every customer that came in were turned away based on the wait time. (Plenty of tables were open) Very unprofessional, didn't even try to clean tables to seat us. Mind you they weren't even busy. Glad we didn't get to spend money in this dump.

    Nothing to complain about with the exception of they need more waitresses on staff. They were very short-handed. I didn't get my drink refilled ONCE. The food was OK, nothing to brag about, but also nothing to complain about, either. I think 3 stars is generous. I will give it another try, though.

    So bad. So so bad I am so disappointed. I was so excited for the endless ribs. The wait at the door was an hour, after being seated there was another 30+ mins wait for the food and that’s before being rushed to order. We could hardly get a hold of our waitress. The water made my stomach hurt, our second round of food our waitress (SHAY) gave our food to another table so we had to wait another 30 mins. We ordered beverages with our initial order and didn’t receive them until our first meal was done. The staff was dismissive and unwelcoming assuming they’ve been over worked. I’ve never been to Applebee’s and I will never come back. Probably the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had and I’d really like my money back. I asked for a water after my first meal, I never got it. 10 minutes after receiving my second meal and two bites in the waiter tried to prematurely take my plate away for the second time. In the midst of that I hesitantly asked for my water again… the waitress dramatically said “Ok! Yes ma’am! I will get it right now” Of all things to be offended by this is what pushed me to speak to the manager. I’ve been calm and polite the entire evening and the one time I ask for a small request (twice) I get attitude. While waiting at the bar for a manager, the bartender overheard me expressing my experience to my friend. The bartender (ARI) warned me that “I better stop talking about her sister” she then told me I need to “get away from her martini glasses” because she didn’t want me breathing near them. I took that as a threat and will be contacting the police. I told her I wasn’t moving and I was waiting in the manager. I didn’t use foul language, I respected everyone despite being disrespected twice, and I’ve been understanding. The manager was receptive and nice but nothing was resolved.

    This is a picture of our appetizer. We had maybe a handful of actual tortilla chips and the rest were crumbs. Waiter disappeared. Another server came with our food. Burgers were good, but can one really mess up burgers. Never again.

    We placed an order for curbside pick up. I want to say I am upset on the amount that was spent for the food we had. I ordered a chicken tenders platter and why did I get a small order of fries on the side. When my husband got home I was still missing another order of fries. The Cesar side salad was not fresh. Croutons were not fresh. The Bourbon chicken was over seasoned. I paid $63 and change and it wasn't satisfying at all...

    I was here last night and the food was great but the staff and alcohol was a big disappointment. When we first sat down we observed our server had an attitude. While placing our order the waitress had to stop taking our order to go get a tip off of another table. We then repeated our order to another server. After repeating our order, they asked 3 different times if we ordered drinks. After telling them we did they still forgot our drinks. We received our food first then our drinks. The drinks were watered down, so we ordered 2 double shots of Barcardi after receiving 2 double shots, I still didn't taste any alcohol and once again they forgot my spouses double shot but after he tasted my drink and didn't taste any alcohol we just decided to get the bill and leave. The worse service I've received in a long time. Our server messed up a good tip and we left very disappointed. We won't be back.

    The food was very unsatisfactory. My son ordered pasta it was dry and so was the meat , my salad lettuce was brown and tasted weird . I ordered a steak medium rare and it was very well done. I sent the steak back and when I received the new one it was so much worst . The steak was burnt and it didn’t have my garlic sauce on top. The bread sticks was dried out also. If I could rate it will be a 1/10.

    The staff is great and attentive. But we order some boneless buffalo wings they were cold and had to send back for a new order. Then I order some chicken wonton and they came out cold and no meat inside the wonton. They have 2 cooks working, one cook is very helpful but don’t have anything to say about the other.

    Our bartender/service was the best ever!!! You'd swear she'd been there for years and was the boss, but nope only a few months. She's doing that part time along with being a CNA. I can't remember her name, but I will gladly travel just to see her!!!

    Burger seasoned to perfection to my surprise, so kudos to the cook. Spinach/artichoke dip could be just as good if light salt/pepper was added. Mariah is a great server, and the Black guy with dreads who brought us our appetizers is pleasant, too. However, the heavy-set girl, who is one of the hostesses, seemed exhausted, irritated, acted like her feet hurt, and that she didn't want to be bothered from the time we entered the restaurant until the time that we left. I'd asked her to take away my appetizer dish to make room on our table since she was already clearing tables nearby. She gave me a heavy sigh and a haughty "give me a minute, sir." She definitely needs a talking to, a vacation, or another job.

    Everything horrible. Took forever to be seated . Took 30 minutes for me to even get my drinks. Waitress wasn’t speaking loud and clear. The food was taking so long I was about ready to walk out . When the food came it was disgusting. I took one bite and couldn’t even finish it. The waitress is lucky I had money left over on the gift card after paying for my dinner or she wouldn’t have gotten a tip at all. I’ve never been so disappointed in a restaurant or server where I wouldn’t leave a tip. We always take care of our waitresses and leave a generous tip but seriously the service is trash. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. A big waste of time and money

    Last night we ordered the 2 for $20. The southwest steak was very dry and they only put a little meat, you could count the pieces of steak. They also didn't put rice in the southwest steak meal. I am very disappointed. On top of all that when the lady gave us our order I asked for silverware but she said they were out! How are we supposed to eat without a fork or knife?!?!?!

    The wait was extremely long even though it was not crowded. They had items on the menu that were not available. My husband ordered a drink only to not get the drink served as shown. Food was bland and just not worth it. Hubby and I both had upset stomachs after eating our meals. I've been to this location in the past and it was much much better but I guess due to the virus things have fallen beyond expectations. I would not consider going back as I have lost my appetite when it comes to Applebee's!!

    I asked for medium well with should have a little pink in the middle and I got over well with a whole lot of charred burnt on the bottom. Needless to say I wasn't a happy camper but ironically it still tasted good. If you don't like char then it will be a problem.

    It was a horrible experience! It was obvious none of the staff wanted to be there. We had to wait almost 10 minutes before the host came. That should have been my first clue. Then at least 10 minutes before the server came over to us. Mind you, during all of this waiting, there was not a single staff member on the floor and there were very few patrons there! My granddaughter's order was wrong. She ordered a cheeseburger and got a cheese pizza!! I was totally done with my meal (which had very rubbery chicken, so I didn't eat the chicken) before her cheeseburger even came! I would have just canceled her food and taken her elsewhere if a staff member was on ther floor! Our server asked if I wanted more water; I said, yes. Of course, I never got it! Needless to say, no tip for that server! I've been tipping between 30-40% ever since restaurants started opening - just to help out these servers who have been out of work for months. But this server clearly didn't want to be there and working - I was not going to reward her for that. I will never go there again!

    Make sure you check your order before pulling off if you are ordering curbside. My mashed potatoes were missing and my steak was well done, it was supposed to be medium well. Called and spoke to the manager Martinique twice who was supposed to refund me my order. No refund yet, I shouldn't have to stalk them for a refund on a horrible meal that I couldn't even eat. I used to love Applebee's but I will not be patronizing this location.

    Service was not great and the fish n chips soggy. The waitress was not attentive as other places. Only asked what we want dropped it off and didn't ask if we needed anything or refilled on drinks. I don't recommend this place to dine in. Very disappointing.

    0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RESTAURANT. ORDERED CURBSIDE PICKUP. 3 STEAKS AND ALL 3 OF THEM WERE SUPER COLD AND VERY HARD. THE FRIES WERE EXTREMELY SALTY. THE LETTUCE IN THE CAESAR SALAD WAS WILTED. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WE DROVE UP TO THE RESTAURANT AND THERE WERE LITERALLY NO CUSTOMERS.     I ordered delivery. “Some pink” does not mean raw. They’ve got some kind of talent to cook some of a burger, but not all of it. You can see all the grease at the bottom. What a waste of money.

    It was great. We had a great waitress, and the food was very good. We had no complaints. We all (4 of us) agreed that the ribs were worth the money (2 for pricing). Even though I am sure they are a basic precooked brand. But they were good and tender. So you have it. Try it for yourselves. Even the "safe distancing" was good. We had a great time.     This is a GREAT place to get very memorable and heartfelt gifts for ALL occasions and for ALL the people on your list. Great for Graduations, Weddings, Birthdays, Christmas gifts, and on top of all that you can get ALL OF IT CUSTOMIZED! It can get a bit pricey, but in my opinion it's totally worth it. It's a gift they will remember and cherish always. Dont you think that makes it worth the price? I sure do!

    There is always something that you can find for that one person. The middle age lady is so helpful no matter how busy it's in there or if you are there 5 minutes till closing. It's a little pricier but they do run sales often.

    I made a nice purchase yesterday at this location. My brother is getting married today and even though your merchandise is on the expensive side, I wanted to get him something special. But the young lady working was very rude with somewhat of a nasty tone throughout the entire process. (I'm pretty sure you know exactly who I'm talking about) I recommend you guys take a mandatory customer service class. I won't go back to this one.

    I brought a religious military necklace there for them to engrave, and they immediately guaranteed full replacement of the item if it got damaged during the engraving. They did a beautiful job on the engraving, and were confident that they could fit "Love Mom" and 4 other names on the back of the medal. Their prices on the engraving weren't too bad, either. I'm hoping my son will be wearing this necklace/medal next year when he goes to Afghanistan.

    Clean store, yes it was late evening. Very nice and helpful staff. Pricing I'm going to say mid range as I don't shop in these stores. Was looking for a particular product. They were close enough for me. I recommend them.

    When I first came in my waiter never took my order I had to call another waiter to take my order. When I got my food the burger was very salty . I would never come back here again. Don’t come here!!!!!

    We recently had dinner here and the wait time was long even though there was only a few people in the restaurant when we first arrived. The Hostess said it was because of COVID protocols but it really appeared to be more so because of a staffing shortage. The food and service was just mediocre so don't think we'll be returning anytime soon.

    When we got there we were greeted by Chris he was super friendly! There was a little wait so we waited at the bar. David the manager took care of us right away. My friend and I both work customer service so we know good service and David was fantastic!!! Always a smile on his face. Thank you David I hope you see this. It is what it is

    They need to hire some better cooks. I.had the salmon and garlic mash potatoes and it was terrible. The waitress was great though. Also need the ventilation fixed. I think they may be closing soon..hardly any customers

    I don't think I've ever had bad service at this location. Always a local favorite when you can't make up your mind of where to go. For starters, I mean you can't go wrong with anything they offer. All time favorite is the chicken wonton tacos (which I didn't get this time). The mozzarella cheese sticks are always a hit. They wouldn't toss them in wing sauce like I requested, but gave me some as a dipping sauce. This time around I tried the "The Prime Rib Dipper". Absolutely amazing, taste like something you'd get from Hog Wild in Midlothian. Meat was tender, the bread is like (if it isn't) the Italian herbs and cheese from Subway, but better. For a side I went with the 4 cheese bacon mac and cheese. Was delicious, stingy with the bacon though (could add a little more lol). Ordering the steak is always a roll of the dice sometimes (but then again this is Applebee's). This time it was a miss. Wasn't really flavorful, overly charred, and was not cooked medium rare like requested. But the mashed potatoes and broccoli were good.

    Host was to busy talking to co workers to understand my request for 4 adults and 4 children. Prepared a table too small for my family and said i only told her 4 people. They couldn't accommodate us even though there was an entire side not being used, so we drove to Indiana to eat Steak. No hard feelings. Never Applebee's again for me and anyone that know me.

    Robyn was our server ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Great customer service, wonderful personality very knowledgeable and honest. ATTENTIVE. No doubts the young lady she was training will be great as well. Definitely will be back just for that service. NOW PLEASE JUST TRAIN YOUR BARTENDERS ON MAKING THE HOUSE DRINKS. Nothing but syrup on syrup every drink she made, i feel like the few sips i had gonna give me diabetes 🤦🏽‍♀️ Wound up just ordering a shot cause you can't mess that up.... wish i got her name so i kno to avoid ordering drinks when she's tending bar. (Short slim dark skinned girl looks kinda young). Please pass her trainee to someone else!!!!

    We went for my sons birthday we had to get 2 orders taken off for poor food should’ve sent back the birthday boys order he said his burger was watery and I had to send my ribs back for being too cold. The birthday boy didn’t like the dessert either. The only plus was the waitress NA NA(🙄) she was very understand n kept her kool. I had the strawberry martini 🍸 ON POINT! Next time it’s either downtown or Indy

    Food isn't bad for what it is, but in the name of all that is holy please check your bag before you leave to make sure all your items are there. I truly don't know what the disconnect is but I always have to walk back into the restaurant for my fries, even when I have reminded them before they bring my bag out. Every. Single. Time!

    I gave this restaurant one more chance as my last experience the restaurant was short staffed. Today our wait time from 20 minutes went to 1 hour. Only 2 waiters working, which our waitress only had 2 tables. Why was she never there? Who knows. we had to keep reminding with drink refills The food was decent. The service and the atmosphere negative, negative, negative The bathrooms very dirty. I will never come here again. For sure the very last time.

    On Fathers Day our party of 10 was notified to come so we could be seated after a 45 minute wait. After arriving in the waiting area we had to wait another 20 minutes to be seated. What should have been 1-2 hour lunch/dinner turned into 4 hours. It took too long for meals to be served. One member of our party waited over an hour to finally receive her meal. It appeared they were understaffed. Our waiter lacked tact and could use more training in customer service and serving large groups. This was a very stressful dining experience. Won’t be visiting this location again.

    Food was horrible. My kids was served corn dogs and the meat was gray- manager said that the freezer went out and they put items in the refrigerator that is meant to be frozen. They gave us burnt boneless wings and tossed them in bbq sauce. The double crunch wings meat was mushy. Them gave us kids alfreso that had clearly been microwaved. They tried to make things better by taking off $3.00. Use to be a favorite frequent but we will never return.

    The food was extremely underwhelming even for a Applebees. I ordered a spinach and artichoke dip that was served to me cold and the chips were stalet,he waiter was gracious enough to take it back but returned with a reheated dip instead of freshly made dip. The steak was extremely tough and when we asked the waiter for a knife we Received nothing. We had to ask a server from another area to bring us a knife. The cheese was barely melted on my.childrens quesadilla and the burger was dry and overcooked. The steak was supposed to b medium and was cooked very well done. The waiter said she would have our check altered because of the numerous errors on their part, and we were given 1.50 off a 90$ bill smh. I still tipped the waiter more than she deserved in my opinion because it was my daughters birthday and was in a good mood, or im too generous one of the two, lol. I will never visit this place. I wouldnt buy a water here and there were multiple people who recieved the same service. SMH

    After standing for like 15 minutes at the front in a practically empty restaurant and the wait staff staring at me and my friend, I ended up grabbing a menu and sitting down. And then it took another 15 for someone to ask what we wanted. Then it took even longer to get food. The food was not worthwhile. It tastes like TV dinners. 💀 In retrospect, we should have just left and gone but we were just hungry after a long day. My biggest issue with this place was being ignored.

    I remember not liking Applebees, but the last couple times I’ve tried here it’s actually been pretty good food-wise. They have decent burgers and some nice appetizers. However, most times when I make a takeout order, no one is at the pickup area to help. Not even that—employees will come over in front of me and get on their phones but never acknowledge me. With the exception of one woman… the brunette ponytail waitress with glasses is ALWAYS attentive, fast, efficient and kind. I wish their entire staff was like her!

    We were told wait time to be seated would be 15 minutes we waited almost an hour when we were finally seated our waitress took another 20 minutes just to get our orders. Once she got our orders we waited for another hour to get our food. The food was okay. But because the service was terrible. The host was very rude and both her and our waitress kept disappearing. Y’all need better management….

    Ordered boneless chicken appetizer, it almost made me walk out, It was so overcooked, dinner came 3 mins after which turned out to be pretty good. Grilled chicken was cooked perfectly, however the mash potatoes were a bad hopefully distant memory. Needless to say I never thought I would regret spending $1 on a drink, til this day. Bye for now

    This was one of awful service you can get!!! My sisters and I came in was told we had a 30 minute wait time. Gave the clerk our name and ask if we can sit at the bar until our name was called! We order drink bar tender was awesome paid him because we didn’t want to miss our seating. Time went by one hour and we asked persistent when we will get seated? She said in a few minutes so we waited patiently and ask after 30 minutes , the young lady said my name wasn’t in the computer!!! What we sat here and can’t find our name? The floor manager came and found my name!! No one said we were sorry no kind of apology was given. We tip the bar tender order over$60 of drinks $ 30 tip and we receive nothing but bad service!!! This was at3pm left at 430 ! 1/28/24! I will not recommend anyone to come here terrible service we came there to celebrate deceased brother birthday!!!

    The waitress came and took my order without writing nothing down. When I received my order nothing was right. My broccoli did not have cheese on it, my steak was well done not medium well. The ribs had sauce on them when I ask for dry rub. I asked for lemons with my water and after 4 times of asking I finally got my lemons. One of times when I asked for lemons the waitress said she was going to get them and when and set down and started eating. Smh

    Got my order wrong, didn't find out until I got home. Try calling several times, no one will answer the phone. My order was $46.83 and the manager (African American female) cash me out... waiting 25 to 30 minutes to find out my order was wrong. Very disappointing!!! 😡
