To
start,
I
had
the
Asian
pork
belly.
It
was
very
flavorful
and
zingy,
but
not
very
filling.
That’s
okay
for
an
appetizer,
but
I
would
have
had
leftovers
if
it
packed
more
of
a
punch.
The
server
was
very
accommodating,
brining
over
another
container
of
chips
when
I
asked
to
finish
off
the
pork
belly.
She
also
did
very
well
with
refilling
the
complimentary
pretzel
bread
that
is
served
beforehand.
The
main
course
was
delicious.
I
had
the
braised
short
rib
risotto.
At
first
glance
it
was
deceivingly
small.
“How
is
this
going
to
fill
me
up?”
And
at
33
dollars,
that
was
a
good
question
to
ask.
However,
it
didn’t
disappoint.
As
I
got
further
into
the
tender
beef
and
perfectly
cooked
rice
noodles,
I
began
to
see
my
money’s
worth.
I
barely
even
finished
it
in
the
end,
as
it
was
so
rich
and
filling.
The
mushrooms
added
a
nice
touch
of
salty
and
umami
flavor
to
balance
the
dish
out.
For
dessert,
we
did
the
crème
brûlée.
I
don’t
exactly
recommend
this,
especially
if
you
have
a
sweet
tooth.
On
the
menu
it
says
it
comes
with
fresh
berries,
which
is
true,
but
a
bit
misleading,
as
there
are
only
two
berries
of
which
to
speak
of.
The
salted
caramel
wasn’t
really
doing
it
for
me,
as
the
bitterness
pervaded
the
sweet
sugar
top
of
the
custard.
Other
than
the
dessert,
the
atmosphere
was
nice
and
dark
and
ambient,
and
it
had
a
very
friendly
vibe.
The
front
room
for
wine
tasting
was
packed,
which
threw
me
off
at
first,
but
we
were
able
to
get
a
reservation
quite
quickly
(within
10
minutes).
The
service
was
great
and
besides
the
high
prices,
I
will
be
back
again
if
the
opportunity
presents
itself
in
the
future.
