For such a raved about place I had high expectations that weren't exactly met. I had the chicken and biscuits; the gravy was great, but the biscuits had a very hard exterior so I ate around those, and the chicken seemed a bit underseasoned. I also had the loukoumades, which were a lot more sense than I had thought! The flavor was good when you could taste it but there wasn't much cinnamon honey drizzle. They also charge the guest their credit card service fee automatically, even before you indicate you will or won't pay with card, which is not really something I'd seen before. All in all it was an okay experience but not something I would go out of my way for again, and definitely didn't live up to the hype people give it.

the food was stale and slightly burnt, the tomatoes were unripe and white in the panini. A very heavy meal.

I typically frequent the Munster location, but decided to give this location a try, since I was in the area. First, hostess did not offer us a vegan menu, which is standard. When I went back up to her to ask for 1, her response was, “Oh, YOU’RE vegan?” Secondly, my toast, as seen in the picture, was basically burnt. When the waitress brought it out she said that they usually only give 1, but they’re giving me 2 because they are small. I didn’t have the chance to say anything because the waitress kept running off super quickly. Won’t be back.

Wet to the one in sherryville Indiana. So we have to try the one in Palos Hill. Service was good. I had the my skillet had a lot of vegetables in it which was good. I really enjoyed it. My wife had the hungry man she enjoyed hers.

Went on a Sunday evening. Only seven tables occupied. Limited menu and drink selection. Short on atmosphere. Typical strip center restaurant decor. The beet salad was good, but it only contained four small slices of beet. Portions were large. The brisket was tasty. The Verano pasta dish was also good. Service was okay.

Loved it here. We came here for lunch. The food was very good and our waitress was very professional. The atmosphere was great. They have a kids menu. You have to try their sweet potato fries! So crispy and soft inside. I love how you can ask for CBD in any drink. I didn't know about it and will ask for it next time! Can't wait to come in for dinner.

Great separate vegan menu, just have to ask for it. Delicious vegan skillet and French toast. Only reason I took a star off on atmosphere was a customer was blasting her show on her phone on max volume at her table, disturbing the entire restaurant, felt ownership/management should have said something to her, BTW who does this???

I do a lot of business in the area and make it a point to make a stop here as often as possible. Great ambience, very clean establishment, friendly & prompt service and all the food is delicious. Highly recommend the harvest moon sandwich pictured here. Scotch eggs are always a hit as well !

I LOVE THIS PLACE! MY gal pal and I wanted a chill but yummy brunch with bottomless drinks, and that's exactly what we received. It was surprisingly chill for a Saturday morning/early afternoon and we were seated very early. Maiia, our wonderful waitress, was amazing at taking our orders and making sure we were sure about our drink choices (thank goodness for this because I changed my mind a couple of times!). The mimosas were flowing and I was so excited for my GF breakfast sandwich, fruit, and GF pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and quality. Maiia continued to check on us and the ambiance remained relaxed even after more customers flowed in. My friend really enjoyed her bottomless bloody mary and skillet too. I will certainly be back and look forward to trying more GF dishes on their menu!

The atmosphere is very nice for a family meal parking is limited. The sweet potato hash is different but nice and flavorful, although I would have preferred the potatoes softer as a traditional hash.

This was my first time here. It reminds me of a place in Naperville I love. I had the chicken and waffles and we had the mimosas for 2. It was really good. The chicken was juicy, the waffles tender, and the regular syrup was really good. I'll be back to try a different dish. It was so much that was appealing to me that I have to go back. (The waffles have bacon in them for the chicken and waffles)

Its one of my favorite restaurants has great Vegan choices! I invited my friend and her son during Ramadan to break our fast. The staff went above and beyond to allow my friend to pray in a nice quiet room in the back before eating. The food was wonderful as always. Thank you so much for your kindness. We really appreciate it.

I hoped for better I got the pastor tacos. One corn tortillas for a taco doesn't work. It was falling apart after one bite. Fries were sitting under the warmer for too long. I should of sent them back. Our server I think it was Monica was great. Everyone was ok with the other entrees.

So, so good!! Loved everything about this place. Delicious farm to table, local eats. Great service, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Every dish was so good; you can taste the quality and freshness of each item. There was nothing we didn't like. We're from Chicago, and it was our first time... It definitely won't be our last! Worth the drive.

Food was meh. I had their "award winning" Smoque Mac & Cheese and it really wasn't anything special; the meat was well cooked, the panko gave it a nice crunch, but the barbeque that it was topped with gave it an odd taste. My friend ordered the salmon dinner and the entire dish was very bland and salmon was overcooked. Neither dish was worth the cost. Our waitress's service wasn't great either. She took at least 15 minutes before placing our drinks then walked away before asking is if we wanted an appetizer. Came back another 10 minutes later which we then put our appetizer order and she was about to walk away before we told her to put in our entrees too. After that, she only came twice, once to ask if we were ok and quickly rushed off and then at the end to ask if we wanted dessert or give our check. We wanted to ask her something before leaving but she was very chatty with another table and never came back to us. Drinks were pretty good and they had live music.

The full moon drinks are such a cute and unique addition! We talked with the waitress about how one of the owners comes up and makes these which we were all impressed by! I would marry the blackbird dish if I could. The crab cake also had these mini peppers in the arugula salad that stole the show! Such a great restaurant

Harvest Room has multiple options for the vegan community. The vegan Ring of Fire dish (spicy noodle dish) {low | moderate kick} and the vegan Blackbird were satisfactory. The flavor is unique but not unpleasant, and the vegan Lemon Garlic Hummus was delicious, which was the best of the three. The service was excellent and friendly.

Chicken and waffles (made to order), Zen-Benedict (awesome!!), and the Scotch eggs (actually 4 before we dove into them) - delicious!!! The eggs came out well (should still be a bit gooey like poached eggs - my preference) but were still great!!

Not recommend if you want food with taste. Do not order the sweet potato hash. I kept trying it to see if it was plastic. Food didn't even look good so I took a picture of the light fixtures.... how do u mess up breakfast food. It reminded me of the first time I tried to make pancakes... I was 9 years old.

Went today for a family brunch and it was great. We ordered the baravacado toast, steak and eggs, and pancakes with fresh fruit. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and quick. The ambiance is very diner like and nothing special but the taste of the food and the service makes up for that. I also love that it’s close to home and will back for more.

Love the Harvest Room - especially the food. Went during the week at approx 1:00 PM and was seated right away. The Harvest Room is known for their fresh from scratch cuisine that is harvested locally and they try to include seasonal foods. The menu is unique - different than any other restaurant I have seen. The food and service were both excellent. The venue itself is kind of casual (see my photo). It is continently located at 127th and Harlem Ave. on the corner and has a large parking lot in the front. #HarvestRoom #PalosHeightsBrunch #FarmFreshFood

We were in town for a wedding and stopped here on a whim. What a wonderful find! Service was friendly and timely. Food was amazing - easily top 3 best short rib dish I’ve ever had. Atmosphere could use a little more light, but that’s a small price to pay for the delicious food. Price was incredibly reasonable Next time I’m in Chicago I’ll probably drive all the way out just to have dinner here.

Loved it here. The atmosphere was very calm and allowed for multiple kinds of eats. My significant other and I went dressed rather casual and did not feel too out of place, but also there was a party there rather dressed up and they didn't seem too out of place either. The food was great and the waitress that helped us was wonderful with walking us through some of the favorites. This is really close to our home so it is definitely somewhere we will be circling often and bringing friends/family when they come to visit.

4.5/5. Food is great, nice ingredients and variety. Prices seem appropriate but on the higher side. Atmosphere is fair - dining area is large and open, tending towards loud when busy. Coffee is very poor, particularly for a place that serves brunch.

Definitely recommend! Despite having gotten there at the absolute peak of busyness, we were seated quickly, had very attentive service, and speedy delivery of food. The food itself is tasty and in good-sized portions for the price. The interior is bright, cheerful, and clearly kept up. We met for brunch with some family members who live nearby and are longterm patrons, and they confirm that they almost always have a great experience here.

Really disappointing experience. Turkey burger was a bust. 2 overcooked absolutely tasteless patties. Upcharge parmesan truffle fries were not hot or at least warm. Restaurant had 4 tables of 2, so not busy. My lunch companion ordered the " supposed special "avocado toast with onions cheese & tomatoes on a grilled english muffin. This was truly atrocious best, just average. Server was friendly & pleasant but clueless about ingredients & preparation. Have seen good reviews about this restaurant but it surely struck out for our 2 orders. Maybe post pandemic has affected its once exciting offerings. Take a pass for right now.

I was very afraid this place would shut down during covid like many other restaurants. I'm glad they made it through. Seasonal menu. Most everything made from scratch. Great drinks. Farm to table. Dinner is great but breakfast/brunch is our go to.

Me and my friends went here for breakfast after work. Suggested it to my friends because of the location and high reviews. Pros, very nice ambiance, keeps 6 ft rule. Cons: Ordered the steak and eggs, medium rare. Was disappointed that the steak was bland and gummy, meat seemed to be cooked in high heat and meat is just raw inside. Also, of the toasted bread is burnt so we told the attendant, she just picked it with her hand and we were surprised. Show less

Server James was AMAZING. His recommendations for food were spot on, which is probably why there food was so good. It was packed but it didn’t feel like we were neglected in anyway. Other options for mimosas which I appreciate, because orange juice and I aren’t friends. Brisket fire any food option with it is good! Cinnamon roll pancakes get it do it worth it!

We went to The Harvest Room for lunch one day and dinner the next. The food was amazing both times. For lunch we had the Naked Bird. Dinner my husband had the bistro filet while I had their special, mushroom pappardelle. Dessert both days was an amazing butter cake served warm with ice cream and fresh fruit. We think this is one of the best kept secrets for the area. The atmosphere is also pleasant. We are floored that it’s not more popular than it seems to be. They source their food locally and make their own dressings and drink syrups. We will absolutely return the next time we are in the area.
