Nice cozy restaurant. Parking is horrible and we ended up parking on the street. The dining made up for the parking. Extensive craft beer selection. Menu went from fried chicken to seared salmon. Staff was very nice. Decor was simple and cozy...wooden chairs and tables, with a fireplace on the wall. $15 average entree was a great value. Friday was all you can eat fish dinner. Servings were ample and hot (chicken was steaming so wasn't sitting in a tray a day or reheated?). Nice place to sit together, talk, and enjoy food. We had chicken pot pie, fried chicken, fish, and grilled cheese which were all deemed excellent.

Be aware the hours listed on Google for their kitchen are not accurate. We showed up at 830 thinking the kitchen closed at 10, but were rushed to order. Even though the bar is open late, felt unwelcome past finishing our food. That being said, their Ruben was awesome! Fish and chips were okay, but the breading was a bit thick (just my preference, flavors were good). We might come back and sit on the patio, but inside was less than welcoming. Go here for the food and the history.

They had a special that was $2 16oz beer and that was hands down the highlight of my experience. The chicken tenders were good! Food was decent but a little bland for my taste (needed more spice), ordered the dirty birdy and hangover burger. Cheap beer, decent food, nice patio and dining area. Overall good experience!

The Palos riding trails bring me very close to Irish legend, and are we ever glad it’s there! Nice place with fireplace outdoor seating and really great bar staff! Do you know what else - the food is amazing good! Great menu and I highly recommend the new Maplewood brew they are promoting - at 4 bucks It’s quite the deal right now!

we were waiting for 15 min for a refiiel and when we finally got the atention she got us a dirty glass, and Jordan and her brother were so agressive they were so racist, i will never come back, just bcs I'm mexican. we did not ask for water with lemon, and You don't even know the names of your regular customers, that's not his name, the glass was dirty, period, 15 talking to her girl and ignoring us and serving everyone around, of course you are going to defend your people and your place, reality was another, happy new year.. xoxo

Interesting history to this place. Food is good and fairly priced. Staff is friendly. The bartender Jenny is great! She took the time to tell me about the history of the building. Large selection of beer on tap. Definitely will be back.

I wish I remember the name of our waitress. She was AWESOME--she had great tatoos down her right arm, but not her left!! We have NEVER had a better waitress!! The food was AWESOME! We will definitely be coming back!!

Great place to stop after work. Good food with attentive staff made us feel like we belong. Chicken Pot Pie looked terrific but a little salt/pepper would have helped with taste... not sure why there's no S/P on the tables.

This pub may be haunted! During lunch hours, it is staffed by very friendly & accommodating staff. My dog was permitted inside so we could order and the kind lady behind the bar had dog friendly suggestions! The outdoor space is hauntingly fun!

Great place with some very interesting history! Staff is friendly as are all the patrons. Nothing like curry fries at the bar. Incredible beer selection, great food, all around 10/10!

I am not a local. I live in Oregon and come from the Caribbean. I drive big rigs and ONLY drink Guinness as I'm also 3/4's Irish. Met a lovely couple while there and Kai is gorgeous and one of the nicest bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of having been served by. I literally asked google for an Irish pub near me and if all the ones that popped up. I chose this one. One my next trip to Chicago, I will definitely be going back.

This restaurant has great food and a great selection of beer. The service was great as well. We have eaten there twice and have not been disappointed. We will be going back again. My parents even loved the food.

This used to be one of my favorite spots but not after today. AGAIN we show up and it's not only a limited menu, you can't get a basic burger or my favorite Cobb salad...still working on the kitchen??? 🤦‍♀️ Another reason this used to be one of my favs was because of the staff...they're no longer there which is a real shame, they really made our visits there so awesome!!!!! It's a beautiful 80 degree day and the patio is empty, no more music and zero patrons. I can see where this place is heading.

Old school Irish joint in Willow springs. Great location. Surrounded by Forests. Large patio that can accommodate about 50 people. Food was EXCELLENT! Service was great!! Hosts private events. Reasonably priced! Would recommend. They do have slots for those feeling lucky.

I am glad I tried this place out. They have the best fish & chips. The Reuben sandwich was delicious! Best far food pretty much! Drinks are great! Price is right! If you have a chance to try it out, I recommend this place. We sat outside, the staff and people were all nice! Absolutely loved it!

Irish Legend Restaurant and Bar is a hidden gem with an enchanting patio atmosphere that exudes tranquility. Stepping into this space felt like a refreshing getaway, where I could unwind and enjoy. The impeccable service further enhanced my experience, and the culinary offerings were nothing short of delightful. The Dirty Birdy Chicken Sandwich was a flavor-packed delight, while the Chicken Curry showcased the chef's skillful mastery of spices. A visit to Irish Legend is a treat for the senses, offering a perfect blend of serene ambiance, exceptional service, and delectable food and drinks.

We had a relatively last minute baby shower that needed to be planned and went with Irish Legend. The food was great! Many, many compliments from the shower guests on the food. The staff was great and responsive. I absolutely recommend this establishment for future private events!

The food was excellent, nice atmosphere, but service was lacking. I can't blame any wait staff anymore since we have millions of people in this country not willing to take up a job, so take it as it is. If these people that are serving you aren't there then the whole country is going to be self serve soon. 3 stars, but nothing that businesses can really do about it, sad.

Nice place off the beaten path. Came here for drink and ended up getting their spinach and artichoke dip and wings. Both were great. Service is good with friendly smiles. Very welcoming place. And yes bartender spoke in Irish accent, very cool. Come and have some fun here. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Old roadhouse many owners hadn't been here in 25 years. This owner has nailed it. Newer dining room add on with lower tables (don't like high bar tables) and fireplaces. Friendly and attentive service good fish and chips and burgers. Large list of beer on tap or in bottles/cans. Good bloody mary. Cozy friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Recommended

We sat on the back patio which was lovely and had a guy singing and playing guitar which was fun. Fried pickles were a miss to me but the hot chicken sandwich was amazing! If you're in the area you should definitely stop by for a bite and a beer. Especially on a nice day like today!

Random place I ate at only because I saw it while out on a motorcycle ride. Wanted to eat somewhere local while visiting here. Food was really good I had a Reuben sandwich. Great selection of local brewed beers as well. Clientele were great, once they knew I was from Washington state they shared the history of the place which is really unique. When I walked in the door woman working the bar greeted me happily and welcomed me. Wait staff were friendly, comfortable place to eat and talk with some of the locals and learn the history of the place. I would recommend this place

Irish bar in Willow Springs. The food was good. The atmosphere was Typical sports bar. I didn’t car for some Of the clientele taking photos of customers without their knowledge and making remarks. It was a younger crowd that still needed to grow up. Other than that, the food was fine.

I was quite upset when I asked to purchase a T-shirt and was told there were none. The menu was full of great choices. Food was excellent and the Bloody Mary was spot on!

👍👍 A really good local restaurant with plenty of options for breakfast and lunch. The service was really good and everything tasted great. It's a pretty small space, so if it's busy it would be hard to find a spot to sit.

🫤 I ordered a beef with fries. Was only okay at best. Beef was tough and salty. Tray over filled with aju. I threw more out than I ate. The free sample of pizza was the best thing I ate. Sign on the front door saying that can refuse service to anyone at their discretion is a little aggressive.
