This is definitely an Oak Lawn institution and thin crust pizza is what they are mostly known for, they don't have any deep dish pizzas. If you are not a fan of their thin crust pizza, dont worry, they also serve a bunch of awesome sandwiches. I like the regular beefs, beef combos, chicken sandwiches, roast beefs and other American dishes. They have an awesome outside patio so you can enjoy the beautiful summer days. If you have a carryout order, go to the back of the building, which is on the South side of the building. That's where the carryout section is, and there's no access from the main restaurant. The parking lot is big enough to accommodate almost every one.

we had a great experience as a family celebrating our nephew graduation from college and starting his career as a military employee. the staff was awesome and the food was great. we really appreciated the attention to detail and us that the wait staff showed.

We live directly 5 blocks east of the Beverly location. The quality of the pizza has diminished to uneatable over the last several months. Fox's is a beloved family favorite and tradition. We hoped that it wasn't gone forever. Thankfully, tonight in Oak Lawn our old friend remains. We hope Beverly returns, but until we learn otherwise, it's worth the 15min drive vs the 5min walk to get the pizza we love so much!

They redeemed themselves as far as i am concerned !!! Used to be a family favorite for over 20 years , then i had two carry out orders about 2-3 years ago and the pizza was terrible had too much sauce and was undercooked . 2 weeks ago we ate inside ordered several pizzas and they were fantastic and cooked to perfection . Service was decent. Hamburgers were overpriced though .

My mom is a repeated customer at this restaurant. All of the portions are big, so you may be taking leftovers home. I've ordered several things from the menu and always enjoyed it. The Reuben deluxe is a great choice. I ordered the turkey club this time around for a more casual order. But you can get soups, sandwiches, or pastas. Restaurant usually has live music, it stopped due to covid, but might be returning in the near future.

I had the pleasure of dining her with my wedding party this past weekend and and the service was stellar as always. This is not my first rodeo with a big party here and let me tell you they were great 6 years ago and they're still great with customer service now. The food was fresh and delish. Only one issue with a few pesky nets if not I would have given them a 5 star rating. Thanks fox for always having great customer service❤️

Best Pizza in Chicago! Great for folks that love extremely thin pizza like me. Some of my family doesn't like it because it is admittedly very greasy- but the salads and sandwiches here also give them other options when we order pizza from here. Definitely my favorite pizza on the south side.

I am a doordash driver. I came to pick up an order that was supposed to be ready on arrival. When I first got there, I was greeted by a rushed response that the orders were backed up. 20 minutes later I was told that the ticket was lost, pizza unmade, but pasta ready. 15 mins later, pizza ready, but then told pasta was not made. I waited another 20 minutes, with all staff ignoring me and avoiding eye contact. A few minutes later a car rushed up, man got out and angrily threw a pack of cigarettes at the door, which staff also ignored. Bottom line, there’s way too many good pizza places in Chicago to deal with this type of service. I definitely would not recommend.

We rented a room for our family's meet and greet. It was perfect and intimate. The service was excellent. Oh lets not forget the pizza was awesome.

There for a family funeral. About 20-25 of us. Had pizza, salad, sherbet and cocktails. Food was delicious. Cocktails were too. Service was great. Nick our waiter was awesome. My niece even won some good money on slots. We live in Homer Glen,so first time back at oak lawn Fox 's. Still. Awesome.. we usually get Fox's on Wolf. Also, great.

The food was great, but I found the service from the wait staff off-putting. Although the restaurant wasn't busy, only two other small groups, they seemed to rush our large group. We weren't finished eating, yet the waitress tried to take several plates. She didn't ask whether we needed another round of drinks. Of course, gratuity was added to check despite the subpar service. With large groups, you're guaranteed a tip, we often tip more with great service, so the restaurant should improve the quality of your wait staff. I don't recommend the dine in service to anyone!

I used the places a few times to hold private parties. This will be my last time the carpet leading into the down stairs room is very dirty and has a small smell it’s suppose to be pink instead it’s grey. Secondly I always order family style dinners. This time the baked chicken was so stuff and dry no one ate it. Smash potatoes were so thick you needed a second spoon to scoop them.I tried to stay happy so my guest wouldn’t notice however at the end I was over charged $83 dollars the waitress told me it’s nothing they could do until the manager is back from vacation in one week. I’m very disappointed won’t be booking again and I will also let others know how they are scamming people now out of their money. To of my guest text me the next day and stated the had the bubble guts and couldn’t stop using the bathroom I’m just over it.

Ordered family pizza..cheese sausage onions ..3/4 was just cheese..very little sausage .very very thin crust..was like eating cheese onions slim sausage from the bottom of my hand..not worth $40

Still the best pizza after all these years. Staff was great, inside was super clean.. only draw back is this place hasn't changed interior design in 40 years. Please Please please update the interior and get rid of the maze of walls.

This is a nice place for families. They had a live performance as well. I went on a Saturday at 7:30 pm. The meals are large portions and are reasonable priced.

We had my sons 3rd birthday dinner here last minute when the place we originally planned was closed without warning. I made the reservation at 5pm on a Tuesday for 18 people on Wednesday. Decided later it might be best to order ahead to help keep it quick with 4 littles 3 years old and under. I called Wednesday morning at opening and spoke to a server to let her know what we were thinking for food and to confirm it would be enough. She was great and helped me with a few extras. We arranged everything down to drinks. The plan was to start cooking as soon as we arrived so apps would be out within minutes and pizza out as soon as everyone settled in. Everything went EXACTLY as planned. I have never had service as spectacular as what we had as fox’s. I’ve planned quite a few parties and work in the industry. Things I’ve worked on for months or weeks have not ran as smoothly as what we had here. I will now do all of my events here without a doubt. On top of everything running seamlessly (which I did not expect or really care). The food was amazing. Thank you thank you to the staff! We had a great evening.

We went here to celebrate a birthday and had a fabulous time. Our party of 5 with a reservation which I'd recommend were there on a Saturday night where they had live music starting at 6 PM. The waitress was exceptional, I'm sorry I forgot her name attended to our every need. The pizza was absolutely delicious. We had sausage family size as well as spinach and onion family size, and both were 5 stars. We had pizza, drinks, and appetizers. The service was quick and friendly, and welcoming. There was an automatic tip and 3% credit card processing fee, which seems like several restaurants are doing now. Parking was ample, easy, and on-site. The atmosphere of the place was energetic and fun. We will visit again.

I gave it 3 stars because the quality if the food has gone down over the last 3 years. Waiter was very pleasant and the atmosphere is nice, but at our table we had 2 entrees that were ok and 2 not. We had a good pizza,, good chopped salad, but a cold filet and a dry chicken sandwich. We were in from out of town and when we lived in the area always enjoyed fox's. Not so much this trip. Also when i called ahead and asked about an Alfredo pizza to meet my dietary needs ( no tomatoes due to kidney disease) I was told "we don't make that kind of pizza " but on their menu they have fettuccine Alfredo! So, they have the sauce I needed in house. Disappointed.

Today was our 31st wedding anniversary and we wanted to bring my daughter & granddaughter here to celebrate. My husband and I after we where married came here at least once a week! Always outstanding! Today unfortunately our meals where mediocre to say the least! Thanks for the memories but we won’t be back!

This place took a party of 20 and mostly wheelchairs. They took good care of us with awesome service & great food. I did not see one bad looking meal at our whole table. Love the patio as well.

I have been enjoying the thin crust pizza here for about 30 years. Fantastic place, great food, good service. A pleasure to have had them around at many get togethers. I have never had a problem with them and they have always delivered great food.

The food isn’t as good as it used to be. I came and ordered the Chicken Alfredo and it literally tasted like it came out a package you buy at the store. The place is also very understaffed and hasn’t been the same since covid. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place.

This review is about a catering experience. I made the choice of fox’s over another well known caterer and how I regret it. The chicken was dry and over cooked. The potato’s luckily fed 10 when I ordered for 15. The beef tasted like papa Charlie’s from the store and the gravy had lumps of something in it. Couldn’t ruin the corn. I had catering a week prior from another caterer for 10 people and had more of everything than what I received from fox’s for 15 people. What a disappointment. Note to self… Never again will I cater from Fox’s.

I order here way too often but it’s hard not to because of the great pizza and friendly staff. They also have the best mozzarella sticks on the south side. Five stars.

Enjoyed the service. We had a private birthday gathering outdoor patio and approximately 30 in attendance. The server was quick, pleasant, cordial and very respectful. She worked hard in that all food dishes were served hot. No complaints.

Yummy food! Ordered lunch for my job and the sweetest girl answered (I believe her name was Mona?). She was so helpful and very knowledgeable of the menu. Recommending to all my friends!

The food is very good, the prices are quite high, and the portions can be small at times. The waitstaff are not always friendly, and often seem overwhelmed. Many times, I have seen the host/hostess serving food and drinks for the servers. All-in-all, I recommend you give Fox's Oak Lawn a try. At the very least, I don't think you'll regret the food.

Food was just ok, service was dismal. Server was scattered and slow, and got most of the orders wrong, fries instead of baked potato, soup instead of salad, etc. I had their Ruben. It was a little greasy and the corned beef was just ok. Definitely not in a hurry to go back.

My friends and I met for happy hour here. The beer was great, lol. I had ice tea it was good. We all ordered different appetizers , wings. Pizza, potatoes, a Ruben sandwich. The server was great a very patient young man. The food was good. The Ruben was not up to par, it was dry, so that's a thumbs down. That's sad that's what I go there for. It is reasonably priced. I see with a group that parking would be the problem. Great for funerals. Handicap accessible. ♿️ We were allowed to stay as long as we wanted. The waiter did come by once and say they want to know if you want anything yet. We would have told them on our own! We had a good time.

We live in NW Indiana but Fox's is a must stop when we go to Midway Airport. Great Great pizza! Chicago's real style of pizza, thin crust with great toppings.....Now I'm getting hungry for pizza and it's 9am

I have been a long time customer with no problems. Tonight we ordered online, like normal now, we had it delivered. After 20 minutes past the delivery time range I called the restaurant. The person on the phone said they were busy and running late but the delivery has left. I asked if she knew when my order would come and she told me it will be there when the driver arrives. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was no more help. I told her that she was loosing a customer which all she said was sorry. There are plenty of other pizza places that give better customer service. Don't trust Fox's anymore.

The young lady that greeted the group I was apart of was not to friendly. We had a group of almost 20. The waitress was fine. Live music was playing couldn't hear the person next to you. Will possibly go on a day without the music. Made the atmosphere not fun.

I was put on to Fox's about a year ago. I'm mad I didn't know about them sooner! The food is so good. They are always friendly and welcoming when myself or my family come to dine. A little hidden gem.in Oak Lawn.

Really really thin pizza no crust and not even crispy, it felt like I was eating just cheese, the flavor wasn't there either.

We had a birthday party of 15 people on a Saturday Night that got displaced. In 15minutes they opened up a private room for us and treated us well. Service was excellent and quick despite the rush and our party's size. Food was good as always. Thanks.

Usually order from the foxs in Beverly , and will continue to do so, very unhappy with the oak lawn locations quality and customer service, I placed an order through grub hub, a sausage pizza extra sauce well done and pretzels, and I received a sausage pizza extra sauce NO CHEESE not a single shred and burnt pretzels, I called them to clear it up and am being told “it’s a grubhub order there is nothing I can do”. So how do you guys make grub hub orders then? I have the page infront of me that says exactly what I ordered and they had to have had access to my order in order to make it so this just makes absolutely no sense to me why they’re saying there is nothing they can do for me at this point because it’s a grubhub order. this is beyond disappointing and frustrating.

Whenever I am in Chicago, I love visiting this pizza restaurant. The food still had the same great taste but this time the pizza crust was soggy. Flavor was still great. Service was excellent. Restaurant is starting to show its age with water stained ceiling tiles and aged carpet. Still worth the stop.

There was a huge mix up with the seating for a funeral luncheon. We ended up in two separate rooms. The waitresses did an amazing job. Everything worked out great.

Everything about Foxes was great. The live music entertainer - an acoustic guitar player - played good, sing-along music. Our server was prompt, attentive and helpful and the food - especially the pizza was amazing.
