😠 Went over there with a friend under the impression its 18 holes. Arrived there just to found out they move tee 10 feet (if that) to play double round so technically you are just playing the holes twice. The holes are HORRIBLE especially hole 9 where the grass is barely green and when i tried notify... People often mention good, guests,

Tried to ride 9 as a single. There is a $12 surcharge for riding as a single. Was going to be $41 for 9 holes and a cart. I left, I will never be back. No course in the Chicagoland area is in this bad of condition and now they want to gouge? No wonder why it was empty. It is a pretty nice property in terms of elevation and lakes but it is not golf course grass, the greens are about as long as the grass at my house. Kind of a joke to be honest. ALSO, this is a 9 hole course, they seem to market it as 18.

Love this place. Good food, nice bar with seating on the side. Fantastic relaxing atmosphere, and view. Jamie and Carrie are always there to take care of you. If you haven’t been, you should go and try. Call for hours, and days. You will enjoy your experience.

We went to Breakfast with Santa. Fabulous food, plenty of food and great variety. Santa was very good with the children and adults. Definitely going back next year

It is a good golf course for 9 holes somewhat of a gem if it's taken care of properly .

Arrived there just to found out they move tee 10 feet (if that) to play double round so technically you are just playing the holes twice. The holes are HORRIBLE especially hole 9 where the grass is barely green and when i tried notifying the staff i just got attitude in response. Its mind boggling that they have 4.1 star rating this course its not even a 2 star course. Strongly recommend dont come here and stay away.

Great food. I asked one of our servers for something different to drink than coffee, or ice water, at the table, and received a Pepsi within minutes of asking. Before I left, I found out 'her' name is Mary. Great name! Great service. Thank you Mary and Staff

The condition of this course is, sadly, embarrassing. I grew up in the area, but never had the chance to play here until now. It was a letdown to find the course in such a terribly neglected state. The design of the course could be beautiful, but it is lost in disrepair and overgrowth. The fairways and greens are in such an ugly condition that the course borders on unplayable at times. There are other very well maintained courses around for the same price or less. Steer clear.

1 star is too good for this course. The layout is beautiful and it could be very nice if it was maintained properly. I'm guessing that they only care about the banquet room because the condition of the course is the worst I played on in over 30 years. Stay away!!!

Course was only in fair condition. Tee boxes had crab grass. Greens need to be rolled and bunkers are in need of more sand. Monday's is cheap day with a cart, $22. Seniors get a discount, starting at 62 years.

Was last here for a wedding over 35 years ago. Not much has changed at all.

The golf at this course has really gone downhill, and I used to love it. The fairways look like they haven’t been watered in years. There are bare patches on the greens. And when we arrived for a 7am tee time there was nobody there. An employee finally arrived at 7:05, 5 minutes after our tee time, and gave no explanation why he wasn’t there. The locker room in the clubhouse was awful too. I cannot recommend this course.

Was there for golf course. Later in year but course itself is in bad shape. The layout here is very nice and if the course was better taken care of either probably get more play. While late in year the courses I played the week before were in best shape.

You cannot find a more caring and professional staff for event catering! Jaimie is the best, and if the owner, Pat, likes you then you can sample their homemade Irish drink that warms your heart and loosens your feet for dancing! From our bartender Mark to our awesome servers we loved this venue for our wedding! They earned every star and will not disappoint!

Recently had my wedding at Palos CC and would never recommend. I paid extra to have the on-site bar, Murphy's Pub, open after my reception. Instead we were kicked out and not given a refund. Staff was rude, service was slow. As a summary, below is the email I sent afterwards, to which I have never received a response (3 weeks later). I was mailed a $250 refund of the $500 they owe me. Email to Palos CC event planner: "I'll start by saying thank you for your help in organizing details throughout the planning process, and being responsive to emails and phone calls with great advice and answers to questions. The day was beautiful and truly the most fun I could have imagined. Our phones have been ringing nonstop with guests from both sides reaching out to talk about how much fun they had, how great the music was, comment on the good food, and the beautiful ceremony. It is sad that I will NOT be able to recommend Palos to friends and family following the horrible management and service experience. Within EVERY phone call or text about what a great night everyone had, there was also a comment about the rude bartenders, specifically Mary. This came from both sides, young and old, drunk and sober (yes, there were several sober witnesses to the events as they unfolded). This began from the second we arrived, continued during cocktail hour, and worsened as the evening went on. The wait staff was fine, despite the slow dinner service, which I was told by several people including the seasoned DJ and photographers "they're always slow here." Not a good reputation to precede you. Denise has also lived up to her reputation of being extremely unpleasant. Maybe the servers should have spent more time serving the dinner, and less time jacking around in my photobooth. I have pictures to prove it. I am disgusted by the fact that after being told "we're not opening the bar for you, you're shut down, you have to leave" you STILL allowed some of my guests to spend their money at Murphys, and now are using that as your excuse for not giving me a full $500 refund. After "shutting us down" and calling my guests a "liability," how could you then continue to serve them in Murphys? How could you tell me (ruining my night) that my afterparty is not happening, and yet still accept money from my guests, whom you made it very clear were no longer welcome? It was Palos' responsibility to close Murphys after you told me it would not be open for us, NOT my responsibility to tell each of my 200 guests "party's cancelled you can't go in there." Shame on you for thinking you could have it both ways- keeping my $500, kicking me out, but also accepting payment and tips from my guests who didn't know that Murphys was cancelled. I’m shocked by the lack of apology given to me thus far, and the attitude given to my mom over the phone. I will be in contact about my refund until it is received. I will also be giving honest reviews about my experience with Palos to whoever asks." There are plenty of good options on the south side, skip Palos.
