I don’t recommend anyone to have a party here. I have never experienced this ever before in my life. I had a party here on Jan 14 for my 1 year old granddaughter. Per the contract it says 15 mins before the party we can come and start decorating, so my daughter was running late, and she had other people there to help with decorations. When they arrived, the staff told them they couldn’t come in and would have to wait for the mother to arrive. Therefore, we had to rush to decorate, which meant it took time from us having the party room. We were scheduled to have the party room from 12 noon until 1:30. By 1:10 the staff were rushing us telling us to start packing up, and announcing how we need to be out by 1:30. So to our embarrassment everyone stopped eating and started cleaning up. At 1:30 they allowed another party to come in to begin decorating, even though we still had our belongings in the room. The manager decided she was going to forcefully move our stuff out the room, because we weren’t moving fast enough for her. I called to make a complaint and the manger, Heather, was really rude. She called me a liar and hung up on me. PLEASE BE AWARE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO HAVE A PARTY FOR YOUR LITTLE ONE!!!!!!!!

I put this museum on my "places to bring the kids someday" list, and boy was it worth it. Although it was a bit of a drive for me, there is a parking lot, and the entrance fee is just $7 per person. We were there for over five hours, amd could've stayed longer if they were open later. There was so much to do on the first floor, and then we went up to the 2nd floor and had a whole new adventure up there. I will look forward to going back again, and can say this place is a real gift.

I think this is a great place to spend an hour or 2! My son is 6, he's a little too old for this place now, but my 10 month old had a blast in the baby area. It's a small museum and it's great for the locals, but I wouldn't drive too far out of my way for this place.

The staff was very nice. The museum was small to me and didn’t have much to do compared to other museums that I went to with similar admission price point. I think the place overall needs a refresh. Certain items seems a little dated and there seems to be an odor that put a damper on the experience.

Cute spot for little kids! My 4 year old had a blast. We spent 2 hours here. They have a great variety of things to play with and do, and there are 2 floors. It is pretty clean and organized as well. It did cost $10 per kid and $10 per adult, which can get pricey. Free parking. But the staff was nice and I was glad my baby had fun.

It's ok. Not big. But it will keep the kids busy for a couple of hours depending on how interested they are with the exhibits.

Wonderful! This place is awesome for my son, a great weekend activity! He loves all there is to do! They even have groupon deals and you can donate to them on Amazon Smile! :D We go often because it really is a great place for our son to play and learn interactively!

We had been to so many children’s museum before. We never got disappointed. Don’t like this museum. Few things to do. None of the on button we’re working in the fire exhibition and grocery cash register. We used to spent 6-7 hours in a museum and kids never get bored. First time this museum we only spent 1.5 hour.

Decent entertaining place! Needs some new toys. Some toys are past their prime. The place is small but very entertaining for kids. It can feel cramped when a lot of people are there.

We love this place!! I come here with my mom and my niece most times. Staff is always very happy and helpful. Location is very clean and pleasant. It's definitely scaled down from the Naperville location but very fun for little ones, nonetheless. We always have a great time!

I bring my 2 year old granddaughter her a lot. The staff is great & my granddaughter loves it. The reading sessions are our favorite along with the craft time afterwards. It is usually very clean. The exception is when it becomes over run with children that come in on buses from preschools & large daycare places. staff is always very friendly and GREA

My kids really enjoy coming here (1y & 2y) there is tons for them to with blocks and tubes and fossil hunting. They have a whole market/kitchen area for kids which my kids loves, its nice to just let them do their thing and relax for a few knowing they aren't destroying my house.

We hosted a private party for my daughter's 4 year birthday here. Setting up the event was easy with the staff, they were very helpful and answered all of my questions beforehand. The day of the party the previous party stayed way past their welcome and the staff was on top of it. They helped shoo off the previous guests so that we could have our private event as planned. All of our guests had fun, the party room is large enough for decorations and plenty of food and drinks. Them having a fridge available was a huge plus for us. Great price too!

Very nice place for kids to enjoy and let out some energy. The prices are reasonable and you can get a membership if you want to visit more often. It does get hot upstairs for some reason compared to downstairs. And it’s hard to move around if you have a stroller but they do have an elevator outside of the center in the main lobby. I do wish they had longer hours too.

My kids and I absolutely love this place! So much to do! My kids ask to go there all the time. Parking isn't bad either. I've been there at some pretty busy times and have always been able to find a spot to park.

Very small and boring. The Naperville one is MUCH better. This place is a poor excuse for a children's place to experience stuff. The staff is not freindly. Disappointed.

This is a small place for kids to try different and fun developmental, science, pretend play etc. things to do. It's not a whole lot to do because this place is not that large like many other kid friendly places. I honestly believe they are slightly over price, especially seeing that adults have to pay as well (most kids friendly places are free for adults). However, some of the activities are different from other places.

Cute place for the kids to run around and play. Our kids loved the bone digging area and the fire station. While this place is a bit smaller than some of the other children’s museums, our kids still seemed to enjoy themselves a lot.

We love this museum! Reasonably priced and TONS to do! Love the tot area. But love that my 19 month old can play with everything else in the museum, too. One of our favorite places!

Definitely not the cleanest. Very small area for little toddlers (my son was 15months when we took him). But my son did seem to have fun!

We had a great time visiting from out of state. My three and six year old kids were entertained the entire time, plenty of stuff for them to do. Staff was attentive and polite. Very clean. We'd love to come back on our next visit!

Nice place to spend hours entertaing toddlers and kids up to about 8. Plenty of stuff to interest them. They did have hand sanitizer in different spots and I saw a few people cleaning every now & then. If you have anxiety about germs, not the place for you. Kids touching everything. We sat and watched our 4yr old play for hours without our help. No one got sick. Everyone is charged a fee for entry. It won't break the bank!

Great place, kiddos loved it. Def will be back. There was a kids party and it seemed to be alot more adults than kids. That was a little weird but otherwise awesome place

Great for children under 5 to roam around and play without you losing sight of them. Place is small but has enough to keep the kids entertained. Some of the toys and books need to be replaced (some are old and worn) but other than that my little ones love it.

  • 4/5 Sam 1 year ago on Google
Nice place to go to entertain your child for a while. Fun and semi-informative, but mainly just a place for kids to be kids. Venue is a little crowded, but all together a good time.

  • 4/5 Kelsey K. 7 months ago on Google
Great use of small space. Plenty to do for kids, free parking, two floors and a fenced in area for children under two. Inside a little complex that had other shops and a little cafe. In serious need of a deep clean, I couldn't breathe in there as I'm allergic to dust.

This is one of very few places indoor for kids to burn some energy in the area. It is clean, staff is great, and they offer many different educational/fun things for kids to do.

Fun place! My 2.5 yr old daughter loved it!

  • 4/5 Gail S. 4 years ago on Google
Small museum with some nice displays but nothing that held the interest of our 4 yr old for very long. We spent 1 hour there and she truly did everything in less time than that. We normally visit larger children's museums that have tons of interactive displays geared to all age levels so maybe that's why this didn't hold her attention for long.

I wish the gated baby play area was a little cleaner (I wiped part of the mat and my wipe literally was black) but the whole place is cute and offers so much. You could spend hours here.

We love this museum! Our toddler really enjoys playing here. Lots of activities for the little ones. Also, there is a nice cafe right next to it we get lunch at after, and a cute candy/ice cream shop also. We like to make a special day out of going and it's in a great location.

My kids loved it here! We could have been there all day! Disliked that I had to for myself to get in as well as the kids. Also wished they did a little better cleaning of the toys. Entertained both my 2 year old and 4 year old. Would go again
