The museum is small but growing. The exhibitions, mostly from loans and donations, are top notched. There is a gift shop and a research library on the second floor. The art books being sold in the gift shop are at a steep discount.

So far my overall experience here was a great experience very clean, very quiet very serene, and the artifacts are wonderful to view. There is two floors and or course elevator. A diamond in the rough and not enough Advertisement. So I give it 4stars why 4stars because of parking and that’s pretty much it. But my experience here wonderful. I am looking forward to other exhibition’s here in the near future.

Museums such as the Art Institute and the Field are great, but museums such as the Heritage Museum of Asian art are amazing little surprises. The Heritage Musem of Asian art sits between Bridgeport and Chinatown near an underpass. I would say don't judge a book by it's cover, but even the building has some impressiveness to it with two large doors. Inside you can find very welcoming staff and many artifacts, some which date as far back as the neolithic. There is a nice little gift shop on the second floor too. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to this little museum and would definitely recommend it to famy and friends.

Although this place is small, it's still so cool! This is now one of my favorite museums. I would definitely recommend seeing it if in the area.

A small and beautifully arranged museum. A cool place to spend an hour and admire Asian history. Well worth the admission price. The description s are just the right length giving interesting detail without discouraging you with a novel of info. Gives you a chance to appreciate the artwork!

I was here for the first time, recently, as it served as a venue for one of the Film's shown by the Asian Pop-up Cinema. The Museum, located at the South end of Chinatown, features all different types of artworks from Asia & India, from ancient Scrolls, to Ceramics, Statuary & the like. There's a reasonable admission charge & a special admission charge for Seniors, Students & Groups. Featuring 2 full floors of exhibits, it's well worth a visit, especially if you'd like to dine in one of Chinatown's many Restaurants or shop at a Chinese Grocery shop.

Cool little place. I noticed it out of the corner of my eye while driving down 26th street. Glad I stopped in and checked it out.

There was a large variety of of Chinese art, with great historical information provided for most pieces. I would have liked there to be more art from other Asian cultures, but as a whole, it was a great time.
