One of the best place in Chicago. One day is not enough.

Great experience, probably the best gallery in the Midwest. I arrived late and they even discounted my entry fee because I wasn’t able to view the entire museum in the remaining time.

One of the great museums of the world. Everywhere you turn there is a famous painting hanging in front of you. Seeing these works of art in person, in my opinion, provides a deeply emotional experience. Genuinely love this place and I could go back again and again and again.

A fantastic collection spanning centuries housed in a gorgeous building. It's amazing to see so many well-known works of art and artists in one place and to discover so much more. There's a lot of walking, but no need to rush. Even a quick trip will take a couple of hours.

Amazing 😍 Can't believe I was able to see so many iconic pieces in real life. Chicago is such a wonderful city, full of museums, architecture, restaurants, and The Art Institute is a must visit.

I am not that high brow but this place always amazes me. I took advantage of one of the many free days they offer Illinois residents. One of the greatest perks there is.

I'm a member here. I love coming in early to spend time with some of my favorite pieces and chat with the docents. This last trip, I was able to see the Chagall Windows and the Chicago Stock Exchange room. This is such an incredible space.

Love the art, but it is frustrating to go in here and not be able to read anything because the plaques are so incredibly small, and with so many people it is difficult to view them. Would love to see some more effort put into making them accessible and easily read for everyone.

Sent for Attended the Rembrandt's portraits lecture. The lecture was very well presented as all lectures given by the Art Institute. The presenter stated that Rembrandt was not her area of expertise but did a creditable job. The hall itself is a great Hall and is quite comfortable.

The Camille Rosalie Claudel exhibit is the story of love, passion, despair, betrayal, and glory of the greatest female sculptor in history. Through February 19, 2024 you can dissolve yourself in the most erotic masterpieces ever created.

It's been a long time since I last visited the Art Institute of Chicago. It's really good to see a nice variety of art from different countries, cultures, and artistic styles.

A clean venue and easily accessible from the Columbus Dr. side of the building.

Amazing place. Only criticism is that there was just too much awesome art from some of the biggest global names in art! You can't possibly get round it all in a week let alone a day! Incredible.

The auditorium is perfectly suited to large lectures. The projection system is very good. And, most important, the quality of the lectures at the Art Institute is consistently excellent in this venue and others in the museum.

Love the art institute! I go see what new exhibits they have when I visit Chicago. Also love that they feature works by contemporary Indigenous artists.
