The entrance is easy to miss; its literally hidden πŸ˜… However, aside from that it is a beautiful semi secluded little hidden gem. Lots of tall beautiful trees🌳🌳🌳 and tranquility ☺️ - perfect for a quiet and romantic picnic πŸ₯°πŸ˜‰ bonus! You might even see some people on horse back passing through and stopping by the water pump for a drink πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡

The woods are okay I suppose. But the name is way too literal, there's no pond in sight! Lol The pond is completely overgrown with weeds and grass. IDK if there is even water in the middle or if it's all grass now. It didn't look like a pond at all. There's no fishing there in any way at all. Unless you want to walk around the woods with a massive amount of mosquitoes, then skip this spot.

Nice little out the way spot for a nice walk, there was a coyote out today but you can't really tell from the picture.

There is an ice skating pond here. Obviously there are warnings but it has signs declaring it an ice rink. Plenty of parking. There is even a bench on north side of the forest where you can look at the prairie. Nice trails for walking.

A beautiful trail close to my house to walk the dog. It connects to a few other trails so it is easy to knock out a 3 mile run.

It's a good place to pull off the road, especially when you need to clean up because a toddler puked in the back of your car. Safe to park and take your time to clean things, and garbage cans to get rid of used cleaning materials. Would not recommend the toddler puking again, but would stop here again.

Very nice, small but very nice. Deer just walk around and do not get spooked by people. If you are visiting in or after the rain, wear good shoes, it's muddy.

I highly love this place. Beautiful abundant trees left and right. It can get pretty busy this time of year so even though there are alot of different parking lots around to choose from at different preserves, it can get pretty crowded. The paths are gravel like and medium difficulty terrain. Paths are pretty wide so the bikes don't run you over. Lots of birds and pretty sounding cricketers. Paths that leaf to all over the place to different preserves

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It was a lovely evening! We stop by the natural preserve center with the children and had so much fun. It’s perfect for any age. At the end the place manager had above talk about the importance of conserving and maintaining the green , preserving natural places for the animals to live. πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜

πŸ‘πŸ‘ What an amazing set of trails. They are lots of hills and changes in elevation over 150 feet throughout the entire trail system. Great for advanced mountain bikers. Hiking is our favorite thing to do on these trails. The park areas are great for family events. The trails are not good for younger chi...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I honestly can't believe that people are so irresponsible.its wonderful but... always throwing garbage or leaving it abandoned where they swallow. Do not leave anything, everything you carry is yours, take it with you, take care of nature
