Some gorgeous trails through the woods. A few desolate areas with no trees and the deer seemed hungry. Some trails way busier than others, alot of stickers. A bunch of old trees and plethora of wildlife songs. Would return again

Grove is clean and lots of trees provide nice shade. Pavilion in both groves. Found interesting fungus growing by old tree that was removed!

Quiet trails leading to done of the main trails of the Palos Woods. A hike, run, or ride can be a short segment of single track trail, or lead to a 40 mile excursion!

Such a good experience. I chose this location to enjoy the lunar eclipse of November 2022 -- so good! Sitting outside the cemetery with my windows down, a warm blanket, and hot coffee.

Great place for hiking and biking. The trails connect with others, and you can get a good workout in. Lot of birds in the area if you're into bird watching too.

Beautiful and at one time Native American land and camps. You can feel their spirits among the land at times.

Just moved to the area. I really enjoy the nice long walks that I take on the weekends here. And I cannot wait to add some of my fall photos once we get to the season.

Great nature walk in the woods, first day of Spring, 2019! I spent about 4 hours covering 80 percent of the Willow Springs Woods, which is enclosed by 95th street and Flavin 104th st. This area is part of the Ancient Morraine Glacier, 35 minutes southweat of Downtown Chicago, IL, USA.

Such a wonderful place to take a long and serene walk. The yellow trail was peaceful and beautiful. This time of year is excellent for a walk under the trees canopies. Dress for the weather! :)

Great place to walk with your family and dog. Can even run for serious exercise. Rarely see bikers unlike some other trails.

👍👍 It was a lovely evening! We stop by the natural preserve center with the children and had so much fun. It’s perfect for any age. At the end the place manager had above talk about the importance of conserving and maintaining the green , preserving natural places for the animals to live. 👌😍

👍👍 What an amazing set of trails. They are lots of hills and changes in elevation over 150 feet throughout the entire trail system. Great for advanced mountain bikers. Hiking is our favorite thing to do on these trails. The park areas are great for family events. The trails are not good for younger chi...
