Great shaded trails that are nice to walk or run on hot sunny days. If you want to test yourself there are the 125 stairs. Always a nice crowd so safe for singles and young kids. One of the few hilly places in the Chicagoland area.

Great place to take a wonderful hike. There are groomed trails or go off onto a bit more rustic paths. Beautiful woods and so close to everything. There are also two sets of steps that almost touch the sky. Highly recommend checking Swallow Cliff Woods for a great day.

Great place to go! I bring my dog here all the time. Nice trails to explore. Nature watching here is awesome! I see a different species of birds almost every time! The only negatives I would say are that the bugs in this particular area are bigger and carry a meaner bite than the average city bug and the drivers out here are almost always very aggressive. Other than that, everything is great in this area.

Really nice place to go to enjoy a great family outing. The steps are always challenging and fun to climb. There were a lot of people and the Forest preserve was really well kept. Really nice place!!

I love the fitness stairs at Swallow Cliff. I usually walk on the trails but wanted to do something more challenging. I went early Sunday morning to avoid the crowd and the rain.

Favorite local Forest preserve. It connects with several others with numerous paths. See a lake, horses, ravines, the old tabogan stairs... good stuff.

Nice stairs... The rocky walking path was too rocky for me...but overall I'll go back.

Would be nice if the pavillion was open in the summer. Is there an AED available? Might be a good spot for one!

This place located in a southwest suburban Chicago Forest Preserve is a gem! There are wonderful trails for hiking. Rise and Shine Cafe had a variety of items. I eat plant-based and was very pleased to see healthy items as part of their menu. We opted for a freshly squeezed vegetable and mango juice that was delicious! The cafe staff ladies were sweet. I enjoyed this whole experience thoroughly!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It was a lovely evening! We stop by the natural preserve center with the children and had so much fun. It’s perfect for any age. At the end the place manager had above talk about the importance of conserving and maintaining the green , preserving natural places for the animals to live. πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜

πŸ‘πŸ‘ What an amazing set of trails. They are lots of hills and changes in elevation over 150 feet throughout the entire trail system. Great for advanced mountain bikers. Hiking is our favorite thing to do on these trails. The park areas are great for family events. The trails are not good for younger chi...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I honestly can't believe that people are so irresponsible.its wonderful but... always throwing garbage or leaving it abandoned where they swallow. Do not leave anything, everything you carry is yours, take it with you, take care of nature
