Quiet, clean and scenic! It's a short hike (1.7 miles) loop, but I managed to loop it a few times! Niiice!

This has got to be the best hidden park in the city. Great place to ride your bicycle, walk the dog or just enjoy a walk and nature. I really recommend this park.

Aside from children there was not much wildlife. I saw several ducks, squirrels, minnows and a few turtles eh. The walking and bike trails were ok.

Had a family reunion at the picnic tables. Kids played at the park while the adults talked. The trail around the pond had a family of ducks too see and feed

Ranger and I love this place. We go almost every day. Very clean. Very peaceful most of the time. Sprinklers and monkey bars for the kids to play with. Ranger enjoys visiting the kids.

We hosted an event there and will definitely do it again. Our guests love the setting and took advantage of the trail path. The pavillion needed some clean-up upon arrival, but that was minor. We advise that you bring your own bathroom supplies. The porta-potties were not equipped. Lesson learned.

Beautiful bench that is very handicap accessible! Sometimes I have to use A wheelchair and thought I could easily with their paths. Beautiful educational park. Grilling areas with picnic tables.

Took the kids to play on the playground and walk around the pond. They had a blast playing and looking at the ducks on the pond. Great little nature spot tucked away in Oak Lawn

Did a little community service I would half to say this place has quite a bit of trash but it would look so much more beautiful if it was just a bit cleaner!

This is a great park for young and little older kids. Great picnic area for families. It has water umbrella and sprinklers for kids to play in in the summer. Also has a wonderful walk around a pond where ducks are and you explore a forest like atmosphere.

Was a nice short loop. A little muddy on the sides of the trail since it has been raining.

I really enjoyed this park especially because it is very toddler friendly. I just wish that the splash pad didn't get so muddy around the border. My 2 year old didn't even make it to the splash pad, he accidentally walked right into the mud and slipped in it. Other than that oopsie, its a lovely park with a nice trail.

Nice to walk the path. But it needs to be repaired. There are to many cracks and bumps to ride a bike.

Really beautiful park with more than one playgrounds. You just have to walk a bit in between both, just follow the path and you'll find the next 👍🏼😀 The walk in between is really nice and you get to see plenty of wildlife like various birds, Turtles, and many more small critters! 🦊🐿️🐇🦡🦆🐢🦜

Make sure to check out the entire trail that goes from the park to Richards HS. It’s a very safe and clean trail that’s very well lit at night.

Love this park, my daughter loves all the details and animals that this park was designed with. Nice place for a walk. Ppl here are very friendly, me and my daughter always find parents to talk to and kids to play with. They have a splash pad that I can't wait to try. I've been meaning to check out other parks in the area but we always end up here.

This is one of few parks in the area that allow you to grill. Take note that if you have more then a party of 10 you will need to acquire a permit. Other then that great hidden location!

Nice tree themed park that is accessible to children of all abilities. It has swings, slides, a tire swing, a sprinkler and a pavilion with a grill. Has a nice paved walking/biking path and you can watch the wildlife from the wooden deck.

I never walked the trail in the 5 years I've lived in the area - I'd always seen it but always enroute to another destination Till a friend stopped by for a visit last thursday. She never just comes by for a visit she always has 32 other stops or things to pick up. So she combined a coffee run with a walk and my visit. It was amazing the trail lead us to another world of wildlife , bridges and bodys of water. I had never seen so many ducks completely indifferent to the people all around them.Usually if I would run across a stray duck or 2 they would take off as soon as I got anywhere near them. This was their habitat which they let us into for a visit. Needless to say that won't be my last visit ...

Really nice park has lots for kids to do and the walking trail connects 2 smaller parks that are a little quieter for the smaller kids.

👍👍 Excellent playground and free splash pads for the little ones. Parents can bring a blanket and lawn chairs on the grass and watch the little ones have water fun. There's also outdoor basketball courts in great conditions right behind the playground. I still can't believe all this is free. Props to t...
