This Mall used to be a place that I enjoyed going to, but it has become so ghetto that they have police officers patrolling it. The majority of the crowd has their pants to their ankles. It's almost as if they're all looking for a sausage. 😂

This mall is great. Super clean and has great stores. I was there on a Friday and it wasnt as crowded as I thought it would be. They have so many options as far as food options and I love the smoothies. Very safe mall and most of the stores are pretty large. Especially H&M

My child is 18, and under the law that’s an adult, so how come she can shop here by herself but not with her sister who is a little younger? I’m a mother and I’m constantly working they need clothes for the summer and I cannot take them. They are both able to drive and should be able to go into the store together, when my daughter is an adult but you say my 18 year old can but to bring a child she has to be 21?

It’s always very clean here and I love the fresh smell of popcorn the second you walk in. Four stars because there was a lot of snow in the parking lot that was just not placed properly so there were lanes that had some dead ends and it’s could’ve been avoided it the snow was shoveled properly.

This mall is a masterpiece! I’m happy that there is an Aldi at a Mall so people can get groceries there if they want to. There is so much variety and this mall is more safer than Ford City Mall! I will be returning again!

Shop till you drop isn't the case anymore. While retail and toys have increased ...... where is the increase in our payroll. Kohl's now has 6 self checkout, like the grocery stores. So where did the additional help go? There's only 1 person in customer service on a busy Friday night. While the line is almost past the candle section. Four people walked out, including myself. Where is the additional seasonal HELP!!! It's December 1st ......

It's good for all that you're looking for. I wished Michael's was easily accessible through the mall. Another thing, the need to get their Coke vending machines fixed. Especially the one, at the northeast entrance way by the now defunct Sears. I robbed of $6.00, and no pop dispensed out. 😡

The mall is good in general, there is a multitude of things you can do. These things can be watching a movie, eating from their multiple food areas, and so much more! And to give you a heads up, people of ages 5 and up need to be vaccinated to watch movies. But overall this place is excellent.

When I visit this mall (which is 1-× year) to go to the movies. The parking lot always appears to be crowded. Inside the mall is clean and eerily quiet (compared to the grand days of mall shopping). There's still the nostalgia of drifting in and out of stores with your Mrs. Fields cookie or Caribou Coffee. *sigh* Teens and families still hang out at the Food Court. Good Ole times!

We had a lot of fun here! Some great deals on the discount rack. Love the options in the food court, even the machine for cotton candy! Rolled ice cream and boba options will ensure we come back :)

Although it isn't a HUGE mall... it still offers a large variety of clothing attire as well as different food options. Thru have been renovating and moving stores around so its nice to see these positive changes.

Bargain Bin Outlet Store...interesting store and experience. 1st time there and on a Friday when everyone comes and grabs like mad. Going insane in these bins of stuff. The store brings out new bins every few hours and have people lined up on each side ready to pounce on the items. They hosts raffles for cash. I picked up a few items including a smart watch, play fence for toddlers, and new bottle warmer which will all make great gifts. The store starts the items at $8 on Friday and then consistently daily drops the prices down to .50 an item in the bins on Wednesdays. Store sells other merchandise that are not in the bins such as appliances, bikes, lamps, etc.

Went to see the movie The Color Purple at the AMC Theater. Very nice theater. The food court is next to the theater with a good variety of food choices. They have a snack stand inside the theater. The seats are super comfortable.

There's a torrid in this mall. I do most of my returns here. I like getting cinnamon bites from Wetzel pretzel. Parking isn't bad. It's a small mall with the necessary shops.

Arrived at approximately 1115 am on Friday. Crowd was moderate, stores clean and welcoming, noise level was minimum. A relaxed atmosphere until 230 pm. The crowd started to change and the atmosphere modified. Depending on the atmosphere a person wants would dictate when I would visit. Overall nice experience with a multitude of shops to keep one busy.

From the outside this mall appears to have seen better days. However, it's actually a very lively and convenience mall to shop at. I bought some underwear at Victoria's secret for my lady to prance around in and got a smoothie at the food court as well. Chicago Ridge Mall, you guys are awesome and I plan to come back very soon. EDIT: Went back and it was still great!

The associate Evelyn (at Sephora inside of Kohl's) rocked! I visited with my teen and needed assistance with "beginning" makeup and matching. She did a great job, was patient and went the extra mile to check availability at a different location for the products that were not in stock. Great service!

Def one of the most awesome spots to visit in Chicago, IL. You get to see the seals, Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz all from this spot. I had such an awesome time here and got to snap some cool pictures/video. Def a touristy area, it's a good idea to get here as early as possible to avoid the crowd. I went first thing in the morning and there was only 2 or 3 other groups of people there. It was perfect and I had a bunch of fun. Enjoy!

Haven't been here since before Covid. Everything is really clean. Not too crowded on a Monday, I was out by 3pm. Stores are geared towards the younger group, so I shop mostly at Kohl's.

Still a nice mall, but need more scattered police presence "all day long" due to some of the things I have seen here on a few occasions. Very good food in the food court, and good stores. Nice little movie theaters too.

Not as nice as it could be , not many stores that appeal to the over 50 ish crowd. Missing better stores. Kohls cannot carry all the needs. So many empty stores and restaurants gone too. A hard pass to come back.

Very sad to see this once great mall in such sad shape. Kohls, my once go to store is no longer what it was. No selection and a too large Jr's section. Very disappointed. The parking lot was rough and all the lines on the driveway are so faded that you can't see them.

  • 3/5 Jeri H. 8 months ago on Google
It used to be a great shopping mall. Many stores have left now. Namely one big anchor store Sears! That was my go to store for many years! The hours of the mall have been cut and now that Bed Bath and Beyond is gone there aren't many good stores left. The youth have ruined a lot because of shoplifting and causing trouble. The only reason I go there is for one women's clothing store that I prefer to do online shopping, and if I have to return, then I'll return at the mall. Otherwise, I don't care to be there.

This a quick run-in and get what you need, mall, nothing spectacular about it. This mall has very minimal stores that I particularly shop at. therefore, the rating is reflected as such.

  • 4/5 Sarah S. 8 months ago on Google
I go there to shop for specific things I do not like to be hounded by the shops that are in the center of the mall they need to really leave people alone if people are interested in talking to those carts in the middle then they can talk to them otherwise they should not come out and grab people to talk to them it's quite rude.

Went to about 5 stores today, basic mall experience… the 5 stars is because all of the staff that I encountered was friendly, Respectful, and welcoming…. Great job Chicago Ridge Mall!!!! We went to journeys, pandora, H&M, a sunglasses stand, and Bath n Bodywork’s….. all good vibes:)

Decent shopping center. A great deal of retailers, Pandora had a line longer than the foot stores. The sink in the washroom had a dryer on the right side if the fixture, cleanser to one side. I do like the dyson ones, yet this felt cunning.

I simply wanted to tell you how my day went when I arrived here. The overall atmosphere was trendy, sleek, and enthralling. Furthermore, the personnel entertained me in a really pleasant and courteous manner. The things were all of high quality, which pushed me to buy. In addition, the mall contains various businesses, restaurants, playrooms, and a gym where you may spend your leisure and spare time. I will undoubtedly return. Thank you very much!

This is a pretty decent mall...it doesn't have some of the larger stores like a Macy's but it does have a good selection of shoe stores which is a plus for me. The restaurant selection is okay at best. The new Playland for the kids is definitely a bonus though

Nice place to just go out . They have lots place to just sit and watch the kids play... is always busy at weekends. So I prefer going on weekdays.

  • 1/5 Mary T. Aka Terry D. 2 years ago on Google
So disappointing. It's too trendy, no solid staple clothing. There are no stores that sell non athletic shoes. Even Kohl's did not carry dress shoes. The stores sell two types of clothes, cropped and ripped or covered in glitter. Trying to find nice necklaces that arent covered in Rhinestones is impossible. Where are the beads? Guess I'll stick with Amazon.

A lot of happenings and renovations in the mall in the past few years! Still one of the better closer malls to the city. The AMC, Food Court, & other dining options are fantastic; not to mention the great stores within the mall itself.

  • 5/5 Shadow W. 2 years ago on Google
One of the cleanest malls I ever seen. A lot of stores to choose from they usually have the Easter bunny and Santa Claus for your children. It’s a very welcoming place to come too they have a giant food court and a lot of clothing stores my favorite store is possibly hot topic and lunchbox :3 cause I’m a weeb. I remember coming here with my family and always walked around and are at the food court

Chicago ridge mall has recently fallen off. I go here frequently and a lot of stores have closed and have become something I've never heard of. I now usually go here just to grab some lunch with a friend and walk the mall just to sight see. Recently they've lost the Disney store which was a major surprise and Sears. The only two store I frequent now are Game Stop and Books A Million. Even the boxed lunch pales in comparison to Orland malls store. It just feels like a dark cloud looms above this mall now since I've gotten older. Hopefully one day they'll find some way of bringing back a better sense of comfort. It just doesn't feel like the mall it used to be.

Kids had a good time at FunFlatables at Chicago Ridge Mall they don't sale food and you can not have a real birthday party there yet. it is a first come entry and it is $12 per child.

I can't wait to come back to this mall. It was very nice to go into a vibrant mall that had most of the stores open. All the sales people was very nice. I didn't mind their straight forwarded and pleasantly welcoming sales pitch. I will make sure to return to purchase some new outfits.

This was one of my favorite childhood malls I was here at least three times a week when I was younger, I mainly shop online now but sometimes I still visit here a lot of stores from back then are no longer here that can be expected. One of the main draws for me to come to this mall now is Buffalo wild wings & red Robin's this is my favorite location for them two restaurants, I been wondering all this time though why hasn't a macys ever been put inside this mall.

  • 2/5 Vittorio C. 1 year ago on Google
When it comes to most things that are cultural or intellectual this place is sorely lacking. The films and books are all totally mainstream. I do like some restaurants and the T Mobile people (especially Cassie) are quite helpful. Still a nice place to walk if it is too hot out. Orland is less close but far superior.

Parking is sometimes a struggle, but many shops from clothes to shoes to groceries. Other stores around the mall and great restaurants. If you live in Chicago this is the best mall closest to the city.

😠 Sidewalk out front on Ridgeland not shoveled. I had to walk down the other side of the street and then cross and double back to get to where I was going, because the people who live in the apartments across the street are nice enough to shovel the sidewalk.
