Why is the floor sticky? I don’t want to know. Seriously, it’s incredibly noticeable. Do they mop? Otherwise the breakfast was perfectly fine. Reasonable prices, good selection, and quick and friendly service. If you’re looking at the pictures posted by the restaurant, I can tell you that I didn’t see anything even close to that, but the brunch did hit the spot. Good location, easy parking.

The best brunch place in La Grange area! My personal favorite dish is amish chicken crepe and my husband always orders skirt steak skillet but somehow it often sold out.. even though we visit early:( The short rib skillet is not as good as skirt steak skillet:/ Btw their pancakes are amazing as well!!

We’ve been going to Prasino since it opened. Consistently great food and service. We’ve enjoyed many brunches with friends and family.

Went with a group of people and everyone really enjoyed their meal. I had the turkey burger and they put it on gluten free bread it was quite tasty. The turkey burger was a bit thick and could have used more seasoning. But I would still order again. My husband had short rib tacos and said they were very good. I like that they have Gfree options. Would go back again.

Located in the heart of LaGrange, great ambiance, friendly staff, delicious food and pet-friendly. We sat outside on a warm sunny Friday, under the shade it was deliciously fresh. As soon as we sat they brought us water and a bowl for our puppy. We had two mojitos (mango and passion fruit), ordered the spread appetiser and the the Prasino burger and the Ahi Poke. It was simply delicious. Absolutely recommend visiting this place.

Prasino in Lagrange, IL, offers a mixed dining experience with both highlights and a few drawbacks. Parking is convenient, with a garage nearby and free street parking available. The restaurant's ambiance is perfect for a lunch or dinner date, especially if you snag one of the coveted booths. The drink menu impresses, and the old-fashioned stands out as a favorite. However, the vegan options for dinner are quite limited, featuring only one appetizer and one entree. Despite this, I opted for the vegan-friendly cauliflower ceviche and the Thai yellow curry with added tofu, both of which were remarkably flavorful and well-balanced. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. Empty water and drink glasses lingered for extended periods, leading to a somewhat frustrating experience. It's unclear if my waitress was having an off day, but her limited presence became a notable aspect of the dining experience. To complicate matters, there was a billing mix-up at the end, with my credit card mistakenly charged for another table's bill. Fortunately, Teddy stepped in to resolve the issue. In conclusion, while Prasino shines in certain aspects like ambiance and culinary offerings, improvements in service are needed to elevate the overall dining experience.

Good food and location. Unfortunately I think we are starting to see an uptick in these health food, gluten free, etc type restraunts and I think there are more affordable, better options that leave you feeling full. However, the atmosphere is pleasant and the customer service is top notch.

It's always a delight to dine here. The term "farm to table" used here means everything tastes so fresh, and the flavors come through so well. The staff are friendly and helpful for those having trouble deciding from all the offered dishes. Our waitperson also went the extra mile, checking on an ingredient's presence in one of the dishes.

I rarely go to restaurants these days because I switched to being a vegetarian. And every vegetarian knows that menus are not friendly to people like us. That being said, I do eat fish and their fish tacos were really good! They had a good, earthy flavor - they didn’t taste like salt like most restaurants. I do wish they add more plant based food options to their menu. Their cocktails are amazing as well. Very good and unique!

I cannot wait to come back here. It’s a 20 minute drive from me, but it will be worth it. 2 years ago my favorite breakfast restaurant burned down and they didn’t rebuild it. Since then, I have tried 2-3 places but they didn’t measure up. So I have been eating oatmeal at home! The service was outstanding! She didn’t want to interrupt our conversation so we waited a bit for coffee - I asked her for a carafe of coffee and she said she would keep our coffee full, and she sure did!!!! She asked all of the right questions and had perfect recommendations. I am GF and food just isn’t exciting, especially pancakes, which was once a favorite of mine. Their GF pancakes measure up to any regular pancakes I have ever had. And, I am fairly health conscious, so the vegout omelette was a refreshing menu option and also delicious.

6/2/2023 - My wife and I are in Chicago for her friend’s bday. We stop by here for breakfast before heading to six flags. Nice beautiful place. I got the Paris Eggs Benedict. The Egg Benedict was full of flavor from the ham to the hollandaise. The egg was slightly cooked a bit too long as the egg yolk wasn’t running when I ate it. I can’t say what the other plate tasted like but my wife and the friends liked it. If I do come back, I’ll come back to try lunch and dinner.

A true gem in the heart of La Grange! They offer a wide range of signature cocktails--I highly recommend trying Passionate Memory and Sage Advice. The mussels and burger I had were perfectly prepared and presented, and my waitress, Fabiola, paced the meal perfectly. Prasino has become one of my new favorites in Chicagoland!

Maria are server was welcoming and friendly, and she explained the menu down to the ingredients. I had the beef Stew it was so good I could have eaten two more servings, and top it off, I met the chief, a wonderful kind human being. I live 25 miles away, but this will be on my regular list Bar was outstanding as well, Thanks for a wonderful experience

A new experience not geographically close, but well worth it. It is not your typical everyday restaurant in my opinion. I ordered a bean burger and it was amazing, the freshness and texture of each bite. I also enjoyed the oven roasted potato wedges (a surprise as I thought I was getting the standard fried potato wedges). To top it off I enjoyed a delicious green juice. You have to try this place out if you're in the neighborhood or just take a drive like I did.

I ordered the chicken chilaquiles and I don’t know how you can truly call these chilaquiles. They were basically nachos with chicken. I thought they were very mid and I did not luke them. The pancakes were decent, run of the mill something you can get off any diners restaurant. Overall the atmosphere and service was pleasant but did not enjoy the food as a foodie perspective.

besides bland food, horrible attitudes and service. They were slow and when I walked in I was greeted with a lot of disgust from not 1, but 3 employees and they talked to us like we were less barely acknowledging us. If you’re looking for a comfortable, enjoyable dinner or lunch this is NOT the place. Very stuck up and bad vibes from staff

Love coming here specially Saturday and Sunday breakfast. They have delicious choices and some good healthy alternatives. Lunch and dinner are delicious as well. There's ample space and outside seating options. Staff is always friendly. Highly recommended!

Monday night. Arrived at 6pm. We were one of a very few tables in this large restaurant. Waiter avoided eye contact and got my drink order wrong....and then tried to convince me they had gotten it right.....😑 Urged us to order before the kitchen closed. If a restaurant doesn't want to be open on a Monday, they should stay closed. If a restaurant wants to be open but be closed by 8 pm, then they should close at 8pm. They were open until 9 and resented us sitting there until 8:45. Don't make the few good people who showed up feel bad for sitting in your restaurant. I shouldn't have tipped, but I did. Food was really good! This place has had its ups and downs, but I've been loyal over the years. Even through the pandemic. This was disappointing on a new level.

I visited here with a family member for the first time today. We were intrigued with the organic and local menu. We left very happy! We ate outside at one of the tables. The waitress was phenomenal and took very good care of us. We kept eyeballing other people's plates because the food looked so good! The food was absolutely perfect. I got a crispy chicken sandwich and asked for it on their pretzel croissant. I've never heard of a pretzel croissant and it was delicious! We tried the spinach artichoke dip, very creamy and cheesy. We also got the chicken club and it was very tasty. On the side, I got roasted truffle potatoes. They sprinkled cotija cheese over them.... amazing!! Their menu says they have breakfast (through 2:30pm), lunch, dinner and drinks. I'm ready to try them all! Everything we had was extremely fresh and delicious. I absolutely will be going here again!!

Service and food were excellent. I was in town to celebrate my birthday and my friend who lives in the area suggested we start the day here, and it was a great decision. I had an veggie omelet, and a couple of lemon drop martini's, everything was good. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by.

I thought it was lacking for the location and the prices. I did enjoy the burger (even though i ate half and didnt eat most of the bun) Just a heads up for mexicans that like their authentic tasting tacos.. never buy flour tacos because its just not going to taste as good as the ones you make at home 😪 it might have tasted better if they were on corn Might not be the best place to go if youre vegan, its just not going to taste as great as stuff from a vegan place. I really like the cups but they felt like ikea cups and kinda easy to break (like ikea vases lol). Yes it was good but not itchin to go back 😔

Excellent service and amazing food! I went here for the first time last night for dinner and was very impressed with the healthy menu options as well as the attention to detail by the server and food runners. My friend and I shared the turkey burger and fish tacos which were both awesome. Wish there were more farm to table restaurants like this. Highly recommend!

We made a lunch reservation as we were coming to the area for my graduation. I am not from Chicago area, so I was so delighted to find that this restaurant was everything I wanted for my celebration lunch. The food was excellent and abundant. Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options were amazing. The service was welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere was inviting, with the most comfortable restaurant chairs ever! Thank you for an incredibly enjoyable meal.

Excellent menu choices. I ordered the crepes Florentine and really enjoyed them. My wife ordered the French toast with blueberries and was impressed with the number of blueberries. With both had more than we could eat and took the leftovers home with us. Our food was good even when reheated.

My favorite new spot for a mimosa and a skillet. It was one of the best tasting skillets I have had. The service was amazing! The outdoor patio was spacious and comfortable.

The Amish Chicken Crepe was excellent. Everyone in my family shared a bit with me and all enjoyed it. We seated inside and was comfortable, and I saw people enjoyed the outdoor seating. My only complaint was it took them more time than I expected for everything.

My most favourite place! Loved the banana bread French toasts!

Wonderful dine-in experience here. The service is AMAZING. They’re knowledgeable about gluten free diets and VERY accommodating. I had their GF oat milk latte and GF banana pancakes. Loved every minute here. Highly recommend, plus they have a cute outdoor patio. My only recommendation to the owner might be to add a separate GF menu - I felt like I had to really study the menu & get creative by asking the waitress what item combos could be GF. They could definitely attract a lot more business with some tweaks and a separate allergen friendly menu.

Overall great experience! The staff was great, my water glass was never empty! The food was quite bland especially the crispy chicken sandwich and Prasino burger. I would highly recommend getting the Prasino salad, it was amazing!
