Francescas is what I like to call the MOST CONSISTENT restaurant in Chicago!! Like they can do NO WRONG!! They are the model of excellence! Food is always great here! We celebrated our anniversary here AGAIN!! This is me and my wife's favorite restaurant we spent our wedding day here and we've spent plenty anniversaries here!!!

Fancy has tablecloths silverware regular plates and crystal glasses for wine and water. Nice for business meeting having lunch out with a friend not for children

Food is Italian well prepared . Dining area is elegantly laid out. Dress attire would be a step above casual. Menu varies from pizza to shrimp dishes. Prices are above average but expected. There is table service with highly attentive waiter (Oscar), who made sure to explain any questions we had about the menu. I had the gulf shrimp risotto which was prepared perfectly. Other diners had the gnocchi, veal medallions, and scallops on fettuccine which were deemed excellent!. The empty plates are whisked away, water glasses refilled, wine poured from mini carafe ..all the things you expect but don't always see. Good choice for family dining .

Went on a Tuesday evening at 6 pm and the restaurant was almost empty. Maybe six tables inside and two tables outside were occupied. Our waitress was just okay. She seemed to be in a hurry. She kept coming to the table to take drink orders even though we told her we needed some time. The food selection was good. Everything tasted fine. They had a few specials. We had the Polpo, Pasta with vodka sauce, and Chicken Marsala.

I had was so delicious to the point that I wanted to order another bowl. The noodles were fantastic they were thick and soft and the meat was cut perfectly. I'm excited to come back soon.

The place is beautiful, and food is amazing. Authentic Italian food ! I had an appetizer and main dish. It was great. If you are looking for a nice lunch spot or date night , this place it great for both! I'm definitely returning.

It was super cozy and inviting. Our server and busser were very friendly and attentive. Not a big menu, but the food was amazing!

Such delicious Italian cuisine from the appetizer of creamy mozzarella cheese with brussel sprouts, to the fresh hot Italian artisan bread with olive oil and fresh Parmesan cheese to the dinner cocktail of Italian margarita made with the finest amaretto paired with gnocchi and raviolis to last but not LEAST the tiramisu and kisses of strawberries with mint garnish 😘 Your staff is very courteous, friendly and fast. Service is the best and employees that have been there since opening. Very nice all around.

The food was delicious. Got the whitefish in lemon balsamic vinaigrette over kale. Ambiance and decor is formal/traditional. Got in early for dinner and was nice and quiet before the dinner rush. Staff are all very friendly.

This is a difficult review because the service was very good, our server, Irene, was excellent but I had some issues. First one was the pile of garbage blowing around/under a table and it wasn't until I took a pic (added to this post) did someone half sweep it up. Unacceptable in my book. Second was the food. I ordered a dish with penne noodles and light sauce and sausage slices topped with goat cheese (I wish I could remember the name) but I do not at all believe that the pasta was fresh. In fact I strongly believe it was boxed pasta boiled. This is not a discount, super inexpensive restaurant. I expected the pasta to be amazing and fresh. The sauce and sausage were very tasty, however. The portions were huge and I am a big guy yet I'll be having leftovers for 2 days. I'd rather they offer a much smaller option for half the price.

My wife and I love dining at Francesca's on 95th in Oak Lawn. We have been eating at this location for several years. We love the food, the ambience, and the team that works there. It's always a pleasant experience to be greeted by Terrence McClure and Miguel. They are great hosts. My wife and I are addicted to the great food, and especially to the Banana Pudding dessert! Hopefully the Banana Pudding dessert will become a permanent one on the menu. Thanks for the great dining experience and we look forward to more treats for the future to come.

Phenomenal staff and excellent food are what keeps us coming back. Their take-out is exceptionally packed and organized. Dining there is clean, safe and delicious. Prices have increased recently, but it's worth it. Anytime you are looking for an intimate dinner for two or a special night out with friends, it is the place to go. Our go-to restaurant during the entire pandemic for fast, fresh dishes in a safe environment! Thank you, Francesca's!

Today I tried to order a dish that I didn't know was no longer on the menu. A spicy linguine with shrimp, scallops, and mussels. They were very friendly and did let me know that it was no longer on the menu but also guided me to a similar dish and said they'd make the tomato brodo spicy for me. It came out as outstanding as the dish I remembered. I appreciate the great service from the gentleman at the front desk and the chefs that went above and beyond for me.

It was a wonderful dinner, food was delicious, service was exceptional and I loved the ambiance. Thank you for making my birthday dinner so special. I highly recommend this location for a spectacular time and dinner.

Great place for classic italian. Waitstaff is very friendly & the manager was so accommodating. We had a large party celebrating a graduation and they were more than willing to reformat the table layout so that the bulk of our group could sit together. Support great businesses like Francesca's! The food and drinks are awesome!!!

Authentic Italian with Premium Ingredients. Great place for a date or to hold meetings. The waiters are on point. Place is extremely clean and the food is out of this world. My children also love it which is helpful because they’re very picky. I’ve been a long time loyal customer and will remain one as long as they just keep doing what they’re doing. Love This Place!!!

Wanted to order food for curbside pick up to celebrate our anniversary. Thursday we looked at the menu, the Family Pack was 84.95, we have had it before and it is delicious. Could not order Thursday and decided we would get dinner Sunday, Prices have almost doubled, Thursday $84.95, Sunday $154.95. That is an insane increase and unfortunately will not be ordering family meals from here anymore.

I eat at Francescas often. ALWAYS GREAT. interesting menu. They will cook to order. Just ask. Nice wine menu and delicious desserts. Staff always friendly. With their masks on it can be difficult to understand them. They have a real menu👍 Large spacious bar area. Try this gem of a restaurant.

Fresh and elegant food. Not enough seasoning for my palate. The roasted carrots with the chops were my favorite. Could have ate a plate of those.

The food is fresh and creative. Lunch and dinner have fabulous selections. The atmosphere is cozy and lends itself to nice conversation!

I'm very happy with this place the food was yummy, the service was great, I would recommend this place for sure no doubt hands down to the chefs 😘

I've always had a great experience here. Excellent food, fantastic service, everyone is incredibly nice, and prices are fair for the high quality of the dishes. Live musicians were a great extra touch. Kindness, patience, and generosity were in abundance as we had a fidgety baby with us, and everything was comfortable and worked out great.

I love Francesca's on 95th! I'm there with my aunt nearly every other week, and the staff are so nice and accommodating. We are usually just there for drinks (they have a fantastic wine list!), which is why I only gave 4 stars for the food. And when the weather allows, sitting outside on the patio is very comfortable and relaxing.

Francesca's has always been a favorite of ours, and we've had the pleasure of dining at multiple locations. However, our recent visit to Oak Lawn was nothing short of fantastic. While I regret not recalling our server's name, his exceptional service stood out. He was not only personable but also impressively knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent wine recommendations to complement our choices. I have a shellfish allergy, and he ensured that both the chef and manager were aware of it. The manager even personally assured me of their commitment to food allergies, which was greatly appreciated. The food itself was exquisite, the service flawless, and the restaurant maintained its trademark cleanliness and vibrant atmosphere. I cannot praise this location enough and eagerly look forward to returning soon.

Good food, good service, comfortable atmosphere. Menu is subject to change... EVERYTHING I had and sampled was superb. I definitely recommend this place.

We had a recurrent lunch reservation for a large group, which has been our annual event for many years. Unexpectedly, we were told that the private room was not available. It was tough to have a conversation in the common space with others eating and music playing. We are disappointed with that and will be reconsidering bringing groups here. However, on much more positive note, the lunch service was efficient an excellent with Jenna masterfully navigating individual orders and managing expectations. The options and the food were excellent, and I am told desserts did not disappoint. Overall, great for lunch but be cautious if using for business purposes, as standards have shifted since COVID. Ensure private room is reserved ahead of time--or find other spots nearby.

This restaurant is excellent! They play live music and have a great menu selection. They have the cutest patio with flowers and lights, perfect for a date night! Highly recommend

Francesca's is just what you need after a long week! All of the employees are hardworking and nice, and the food is always amazing! Be sure to give yourself time to relax and take in the chill atmosphere! Oh, I almost forgot! Get dessert! You deserve it!

Felt a little odd at the end. The waitstaff made it obvious they wanted us to leave since it was nearing closing time. The food was pretty good but I'd suggest making an early reservation if you plan to have a long dinner. Avoid the staring of the eager staff waiting to leave for the night :P

We arrived at opening time and were seated and served immediately. My friend and I ordered Calamari and a Cesar salad with shrimp. Delicious and sumptuous! The cream puff dessert with Pistachio Gelato was a rare and delectable treat. Can't wait to go back!

Food was amazing we went here for my moms bday the waitress was soooo nice and friendly I can’t remember her name but I won’t forget the face I definitely want her when I go back clean classy and very good experience definitely would recommend

I generally love to eat here but was very disturbed by what I heard here tonight. Miguel is the manager there, and he is usually so nice and well mannered. Today I saw him snatch dishes from the table beside us. We all wondered what that was about since he had just been in such a seemingly good mood. He stormed to the back area at the restaurant. When he was no longer in view. We heard dishes slam and him begin to yell so loudly at one of the waitresses that the whole restaurant could hear. Miguel and the waitress came to the dining room and it appeared the waitress was trying to get him to stop yelling as she insisted he speak instead of screaming at her. We felt so badly for the waitress as he was pretty irate.  He told her before storming to the back again that he could take her job away and that she wouldn’t work there anymore. We felt so badly for the server girl because she really did seem to attempt to defuse the situation and talk to Miguel. I have never been so uncomfortable. That Miguel really seems so nice, but he is apparently a tyrant. There is no way he should have been screaming at that girl that way, no matter what the situation. I honestly question his moral hygiene at this point. We offered to buy the waitress a drink after because we felt so badly, we just didn’t know else to do. She is such a sweet heart. She was not our waitress this time, but she got a few things for us and  we talked for a bit tonight. She is just the sweetest, cutest little thing and did not deserve to be treated that way. I hate that I forgot her name. She’s a cute little, tiny Black girl. Always smiling, she changes her hair a lot, but today it was long and brunette and she wore that pretty red lipstick. I never write reviews, but I was really compelled to express what I saw in case any management/leadership does actually read this. That man completely lost his mind on that girl tonight. I certainly hope that he is fired  because no one should be allowed to scream at people that way. I don’t care what position either party is in. There is nothing that can justify the way he spoke to that girl tonight. I honestly can’t even eat here anymore seeing the way the staff is treated. It was honestly a truly disgusting experience and we won’t be going back.

Very nice ambiance. Great food & service! Our server was exceptionally attentive - to a fault. The sign of great service is to ask once if everything is OK. Not every time they pass by (at least 15 times). Note to servers - please don't call only female patrons in the group who happen to have gray hair "Dear"...
