Went there for the first time last night. It was fantastic! All the food our party of 6 ordered was delicious, my scallop dinner was cooked perfectly! Our server Beth was awesome. Owner stopped at our table a couple times, it was very busy and it seemed he wanted to make sure everyone in the room was enjoying their experience. Singer was great too! It's an upscale but lively restaurant. Keep it up! Will be back for sure!

Visited this Italian restaurant for the first time on Saturday 9/28/21. Everything about this place was absolutely fabulous. The food was excellent, the ambiance was everything would expect from a family owned restaurant. The entertainment ( a male/female duo singing a wide variety of tunes) topped the evening off. My wife and I had a wonderful time, ate a superb meal and look forward to visiting Bela Mia again real soon.

First time dining here, and everything was fantastic!! The server offered great suggestions and didn't rush us. We were the last diners there, and they waited for us to fully enjoy our meal and dessert. We will definitely be back.

Fries no ketchup. Food no utensils. Salad no fork. No napkins. Ordered pick up, like how do you even miss those details? If I didn’t have an extra fork I would’ve wanted my money back. Get your staff together. And the food was just OK, needed more flavor.

Our first visit was fantastic. Service and high quality food were phenomenal. I would highly recommend this hidden gem. The owner and staff were all friendly and very attentive.

This spot is very elegant and the food is phenomenal. I ordered the beef ravioli and my friend ordered the rack of lamb. Everything was so good! You get what you pay for

We were in the area and wanted to stop for dinner before heading home. Bella Mia came up on search. We were extremely pleased. What a wonderful place. The food was excellent! I had grilled octopus, it was perfect. The table bread was served warm with olive oil and cheese. Wonderful atmosphere and service highly recommend.

Great wine. Prime rib is the best in the area. Best grilled Calamari. Solid wine selection.

Shay greeted us when we arrived. She was very personable and laughed with and at my hubby's request for rice. She checked on us and made sure we were happy with our meal choices because this was our first visit. If we lived in the area we would definitely be back. The portions were large and everything was well seasoned. The bread was fresh with a nice crumb. The appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and grilled calamari) were wonderful.

1st time here. Very busy but short staffed. Crew stepped it up. Call off on busy night. Everything was great!! Food was awesome. Manager stepped up and gave direction. I'll be back for sure!!

I went here for the first time tonight with some old work friends. I am so glad someone suggested this place. We had stuffed mushrooms and grilled calamari which were both very good. I really enjoyed my chicken vesuvio. The service was top notch and they had great live music, courtesy of Ebony and Ivory. Such a nice place, will definitely make a return trip.

Though I was in the Illinois area for a short amount of time, the foodie in me needed to explore before I departed last week. I stumbled upon an Italian restaurant called Bella Mia. The menu was very expansive & I wanted to try everything. To start off, I ordered a glass of wine (I think Zinfandel), which was quite delightful & beautiful in its romantic, yet historic ambiance playing Frank Sinatra. My waiter brought bread & butter to the table & to my surprise, had roasted garlic on the side. I have never in my life seen an Italian restaurant offer roasted garlic on the side with bread & butter. This may be a new standard I'd like to see at Italian restaurants I may visit in the future 😅. Dinner: I ordered the Pasta Velencia (I am sure if this is the correct name of the pasta because it's not on the website. It was either the Velencia or Linguine Portofino) with Caesar salad. I was disappointed that they ran out of anchovies. The salad was pretty okay. The pasta dish itself was MASSIVE in a giant bowl. I must say I was overwhelmed. It was pretty delicious, but there was no way I could finish a massive dish like that in one sitting. I had to take it back to my hotel & finish it the next day. This dish would be ideal for two people. The pasta was cooked to perfection al dente, and the seafood in the pasta was very fresh/high quality. Overall, I recommend it. The ambiance is very romantic and intimate (a date night vibe for sure). Outside of the restaurant, it may not appear to be as such, but don't be fooled. Parking is easy & the staff are quite friendly and informative.

My husband and I went for dinner. We made a reservation just in case. It wasn't crowded though so if you wanted to have dinner without a reservation you would have been accommodated. The food was excellent. The decor is stunning. We have been here with 20 and 30 people before and the service was wonderful as was tonight's. I highly recommend Bella Mia for a wonderful Italian meal whether for 2 or 22!

I went to this restaurant for a special occasion. I have to say this is my new favorite Italian restaurant in the South suburbs. The food was delicious. I had the chicken parmesana, it was fresh and flavorful. The service was equally as great. Our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently. The ambiance was very relaxing and peaceful. Will definitely go back.

Randy the owner could not have been more accommodating or attentive. The food was incredible and the waitstaff fantastic!! Loved the atmosphere. Wait staff was awesome. Experience was great. Food was just ok, not bad but not the greatest.

My husband and I did our wedding ceremony and reception at Bella Mias. We are speechless. Bella Mias made our special day a day we will never forget. Randy made sure every little detail was perfect. Joe and Marco were are waiters and they were absolutely amazing and whenever we needed something, they were there. Brian are bartender was absolutely amazing too. The food was perfect, it's the best food. Our food came out in a timely manner and hot! Everytime we go there, I can't stop talking about the food. Gene performed for us. He sounds like the radio. Our guests loved him too.Our guests loved the atmosphere, food, and service. We are still getting compliments about Bella Mias and our special day. Our wedding was so perfect and will never be forgotten about because of Bella Mias, Randy, and everyone who helped.

Our server Joe, was excellent! We've never been to Bella's before but we will definitely return. The atmosphere was very inviting as well. This was a great surprise birthday dinner for my husband.

I know they were really set on having it outside in your beautiful garden patio but with the heat and the rain thank you that you suggested inside. I know you took those extra steps to decorate it so elegantly like you always do. The food was outstanding and the staff was so courteous and so attentive. We all were very impressed with everything. Want to be Enchanted? This is your NEW Fine Italian restaurant. It's like when Willy Wonka opened the doors to the chocolate factory. BOOM!! It starts with the Entrance then The Staff but wait the Food. You get this wonderful Bread, Soup, Appetizer and Main course. There aren't many restaurants that you get to interact with not only the manager, but the owner as well. It was like being transported to a family dinner. Also a mention to the live music to round out one of the most positive dining experiences! Please give this a try I don't think you will be disappointed.

There for a birthday party for my dear friend tonight. The food was Amazing!!! But when I tell you the service was superb! Their staff was on top of it each step of the way! So very impressive! I will definitely be back for dinner. Sorry no pics of the food. But the place was so pretty I wanted a picture! 🤣😂 Thank you to the manager and staff that served Leslie McFarland's birthday party tonight!

What a nice little hidden gem. The waitress was attentive and made sure all of our orders were accurate. The food was hot and delicious. No complaints at all! Do not pass this place up!

The chicken francese was really good!! I was there for a baby shower and the whole group was really well taken care of! We also enjoyed the lemon rice soup!

The best banquet food I've had in a long long time. A beautifully decorated dining room. The staff was phenomenal. I'm going back soon just for dinner with my wife to try their regular dinner menu. I highly recommend

Robust food menu, every course was delicious and well presented, and pricing was very fair. Joe who waited on our party, is exceptional. Definitely will be coming back.

We hosted a bridal shower at Bella Mia. The patio was beautiful and full of flowers The food was delicious. Randy, Joe and Chloe' were so attentive. All the staff was wonderful. We would happily host another party here.

Our first visit here for my brother’s birthday and could not have picked a better place to celebrate. The food was delicious and our waiter Aldo was the best! Will definitely be coming back.

Had not been here in quite a while. The food is still sold Italian fare, well prepared and at a reasonable price. Located in Midlothian in a strip mall on 147th St, you wouldn't think such a well appointed place is inside. Sort of a secret gem. I had Chicken Picante, and it was spot on. Give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised.

It's been about 3 years since our last visit and I'm glad we went. Very elegant interior with dark wood and comfortable surroundings. The only issue I had was with the baked clams. The clams were very tiny . Even though there were 7 of them, it wasn't enough. However, my shrimp was excellent. We'll be back.

Staff was very pleasant and made the night very special. Very romantic type of atmosphere for those special occasions. The food was amazing. We had the lasagna and veal option as our main entrée which was amazing. They have a lot of options when it comes to the appetizers and main dishes. Very satisfied and will definitely be coming again!

Let me begin by saying I visited several venues looking for just the right fit to host my mother’s 75th birthday celebration and found it at Bella Mia. From the moment I walked into Bella Mia I felt at home. The hostess greeted me with a smile and immediately I felt welcome. I then consulted with Mr. Randy-Owner- and he assured me that my mom would love it at Bella Mia and he was right. Mr. Randy and his staff are the absolute best. They helped make my mother’s celebration one she and her guests will never forget. They were personable, friendly, and extremely professional. They were accommodating, proactive, and anticipated the needs of my participants. The food was delicious and the presentation was top notch. The “Library” (private room) was perfect for the intimate gathering that I had envisioned. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit you are missing a treat. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is stellar. Thank you Mr. Randy, Joe (server) and Megan (server) for your service.
