I don't usually write bad reviews, but the manager called us liars and hung up on us. They were over 30 minutes late with a carry-out order that was placed 40 minutes earlier. (Called at 3:47PM and was supposed to be ready at 4:30PM per receipt in picture below--You will also see the call log of when we called them about the order at 4:49PM. It took them another 10 minutes to come out with the order) So, we waited an hour for our carry out order. I understand that restaurants are busy and we are more than understanding of that--just communicate with us. You had our number. However, customer service should NOT be dead. The rest of the staff was apologetic and amazing during the interaction. However, the manager was extremely unprofessional. He is supposed to set an example for the employees. Instead, he showed them it is OK to call people liars and hang-up on them. We are all hard-working people spending our hard-earned money on your food. Where is the respect and decency to other humans/people?

Tried this place for the first time last night for a date night. Upon entry we were greeted and treated as if we were regulars— nothing but smiles! The place has a very comfortable and soothing aesthetic and the staff was extremely friendly and all seemed happy to be there (very rare for many places). Not only was the foods presentation amazing but the taste matched and if not surpassed the looks. Everything was phenomenal, will definitely be coming back. Giselle was helping us out and she was nothing short of amazing.

My favorite place for sushi! I drive 30 minutes just to eat here and it is Amazing. It’s totally a hip place to be seen. The staff is amazing. The bar is small but has a couple TVs to catch the games you can watch them do the sushi rolls in front of you in there open kitchen they recently added on with a nice seating area, which is, more quiet than the main dining room. I highly recommend the Stanley Cup. It was a roll that was not on the menu but now they added it because it’s so popular. The edamame is great. The potstickers are amazing the kids enjoy the Japanese soda definitely need reservations. It’s hard to just walk in and get a seat, especially on the weekends they have so many different rolls to choose from the menu. Selection is large and tasty parking in the downtown. Hinsdale is hard to find a spot depending on the time there’s metered parking and after a certain hour it’s free I typically have to park one or two blocks away normally I believe on the weekend they have valet. It’s definitely a fun place to go with friends family and it is kid friendly. It’s totally my favorite sushi restaurant and I drive 30 minutes just to get here and it’s worth all that time in the car to enjoy the staff is super friendly the drinks are good.

What a delightful first experience. Atmosphere: dimmed light, beautiful thoughtfully designed decor and interior finishes. Pleasant music. Good: every single dish that we ordered was exceptional including rolls and appetizers. Service: attentive, friendly and timely

I've been a long-time customer of Nabuki for 7 years (or however long they've been open). Sushi, atmosphere, and dine in service are all excellent. Carry out can definitely use some improvement. I have had issues with my order being incorrect, or needing to wait anywhere from 20-40 minutes beyond the expected pick up time. I understand they are busy, but then the pick up times should be adjusted as such as well.

The best Sushi ever. Top of the top. Highly recommend it. My advice to you is to sit by the sushi bar. You see how they make your sushi and you can actually ask for suggestions. These guys come up with the most delicious dishes.

Best sushi available in the West burbs no doubt! Did not disappoint, great tasting nigiri and creative rolls makes for a winning combo.

Hats off to my server Mike T! He knew every single thing that we ordered and gave us a detailed description of the plates once they arrived! We let him take the reigns tonight and I would let him serve my last meal if possible haha. Impressive server skills! The espresso martini from Dulce, the bartender, was perfect! Love all my drinks that we tried tonight! And then the manager Sean made sure everything was perfect throughout the night! Best restaurant and one of my favorites all around!

Wonderful experience and food. Very attentive, knowledgeable server. Everything he recommended was perfect, included not-in-the-menú items, specially the vegetarian tempura roll. Everything was beautifully presented and served at the perfect temperature. The drinks were quite good too, fresh and summery with the right balance of ingredients. Highly recommend The Lori, made with sparkling sake….really? Yes, and it was amazing.

Great sushi spot in the Western Suburbs. The restaurant is pretty large and has a great outdoor area. You will need reservations on the weekends, but the outdoor patio is first come, first serve. The menu is simple but delicious, and they have specials every day that add to the varieties if you go regularly.

I have never received this fast of service in my life. Drinks and food came out in about 45 minutes and we had to go somewhere else after. This place knows how to serve, staff is so friendly and drinks and sushi were amazing!

Took my wife for the first time for our anniversary. We both really love an enjoy good sushi. I'm kinda of a snob when it comes to sushi. Hard to find an amazing place. Look no further. This for us is a hidden Gem. Place is absolutely amazing. Hands down 10/10. Go check it out if you haven't already. You'll thank me later. Ask about hidden menu.

Absolutely incredible!!! Wow, shrimp spring rolls, sushi, fried rice, and the cheesecake! Michael, Brittney, and everyone on staff were great! This is a great spot and I absolutely recommend it!

We made a reservation for 7pm and requested a booth. Didn’t get it and restaurant was busy but far from packed. We were seated at a very small bar table. For dinner? Next we ordered a salad to split between us as we normally do at our favorite sushi restaurant with extra ginger dressing and and shrimp shumai appetizer. If we got a1/2 ounce of salad dressing for 2 small salads that would be an understatement. The shumai was cold and just mediocre. The tuna tataki was the only good thing not great that we ordered, the 2 specialty rolls were just OK and not rolled tight enough. Last but not least the lighting was ridiculously dark and the waiter mentioned that and apologized for not turning the dining room lights on sooner. Last but not least, the waiter brought out bill as we requested and stood there at our table while my boyfriend put his debit card in the slot in the check holder. Wait staff should WALK AWAY while a patron reviews the bill. We will never go back. Total disappointment. We expected this to be great with a 4.7 Review! I guess if you are a novice sushi eater and unfamiliar with exceptional service you’d think the service and sushi acceptable. Newsflash people it’s not.

It’s funny that 3/31 I order one uni sushi dine in and the restaurant menu and online menu shows $5 per piece, after check and sign I happened that the bill showing $10 and I ask why the price is different, the staff and manager bad face to told me they update the price already, but never notice to the customer, today I checked the online menu uni sushi still showing $5 per pic, never go this restaurant again

Sat outside on the street for dinner. There is no shade, it can be very warm. Vwry attentive staff. Very interesting selection of sake. Mixed drinks were perfect.. Food was excellent, the Stanley Cup Roll was my favorite. I will be back.

I'm usually not a huge fan of sushi but was told to give this place a shot and boy did it not disappoint! I had the fried rice and PJ Chicken as well just in case I wasn't going to like the Sushi, which those were amazing as well, but was glad I got to discover sushi the way it's supposed to be done! Excellent service, drink menu, and dessert to top off this excellent dinning experience.

Let me tell you, the sushi chefs Andrew, Noel, and Esteban are true artists and make the dishes seem so wonderful and fancy. We were seated at the sushi bar, which was fantastic since we could see all the items on the menu being produced. The happiest night of our lives was spent with you, and we'll be returning very soon. Went for a friend's birthday and the food was great! Drinks were on the strong side but still tasty! Wait time was a little long, but otherwise our server was great! Would definitely recommend for folks looking for some good sushi!

We've been going to Nabuki for over 5 years now and just can't say enough great things about it. The staff (Halina, Giselle, Olivia,...) is amazing, the sushi is the best I have ever had and the rest of the food is awesome (Juan is the best!). We've literally done lunch and dinner here on the same day on many occasions!
