First time and it was EVERYTHING! Upon walking in you are greeted with aromas of the Mediterranean. The food smelled so good we forced ourselves to eat in our parking spot. Really happy to support a restaurant like this as the customer service is awesome. If you're ever in the area stop by! We'll be back - we approve this message!!!! Tabouleh was made to our liking which is a FIRST from what we've experienced in the past with other restaurants. The owner added more cracked wheat for our preferences and it was a HIT!!! Even the kids said it was delicious!

Wanted to celebrate my daughters first day of summer break somewhere local and delicious. I picked the perfect spot! We weren’t familiar with half the menu, but the lovely hostess (I’m thinking she was also the owner) was very helpful. The food was outstanding, light but filling. We absolutely loved it. She generously gave us dessert and it was so delicious. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the establishment and it’s unique decor and ambience. It was a very special place to share a meal with my beautiful daughter. The prices were very affordable and generous portions. Can’t wait to bring my husband! Will be spending a lot of our summer there. I’m so happy they’re down the block from us! Thanks Simple Taste.

Great local Mediterranean joint. The falafel was incredible here. Best I've had and my wife and I have tried a lot of different places. The service was nice and the atmosphere is very chill and rustic. Great lunch spot.

The food was amazing. I had the chicken breast and it filled me up, which is not common for me. It took a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait.

Food was fantastic. Came with my sister and son for my birthday. We had the grape leaves appetizer, which was well cooked, not mushy or dried out. 1 app was enough for all 3 of is to have several rolls apiece. My son ordered the beef shawarma, my sister got the chicken kabobs (both with rice), and I got the salmon with freekeh. Everything was cook just right to temp and not over/under at all. Came with seasonal grilled veggies, house made hummus and pita, and house salad. The seasoning on every single dish was simple and flavorful. Had the strawberry lemonade, which was fresh made today. Dessert was chocolate cake. Normally I'm not much of a fan of chocolate cake, but this was FANTASTIC. It's a decadent chocolate cake topped with flan (which had that caramel flavor without added syrups that only good fresh flan has). I would have to be dying to leave without that cake, it was that good. All of decor was super cute too. Beautiful artwork, creatively displayed. Mix of antiques and industrial, with a steampunk feel (which I adore).

Horrible! The falafel is disgusting both in looks and taste and fried soft versus hard. The hummus is not smooth it’s very grainy and tasteless. I won’t be back. What a waste of money.

I have been here several times. The decor is charming and filled with great art pieces and interesting stuff. The food has been awesome each time and we've tried different things each time. It's a bit of a wait because the owner does everything--welcoming, taking orders, cooking, etc. And she's a lovely woman. I really hope this place is very very successful!

Love, love, love the food! Great flavor to every dish my family has eaten. My favorite has been the bass and quinoa pilaf. Also, the lemonade has earned a Chef's Kiss. And as much as we love the food, the owner is even more wonderful. Keep doing your thing Simple Taste!!!
