🫤 The View "was" our go to steak & egg place. Remember how the skirt steak would come to the table hanging off/folded on the oval platter? Not anymore. There is only 1 size now. And with the bill being over $33 for such a small piece of steak with 2 tiny eggs, hash browns (that had a weird aftertaste)... People often mention steak, good, great,

The View "was" our go to steak & egg place. Remember how the skirt steak would come to the table hanging off/folded on the oval platter? Not anymore. There is only 1 size now. And with the bill being over $33 for such a small piece of steak with 2 tiny eggs, hash browns (that had a weird aftertaste), toast and coffee, we won't be coming back! The restaurant opened at 7am, we were there at 8, and the ONLY ones there...I wonder why?! The place itself looks nice, staff was friendly enough and besides the hashbrown taste that the boss(?) said was made in corn oil, the rest was good. Waitress did seem taken aback though when I ordered my steak "pink". No current menu/prices on line, so beware.

We were loyal customers and so looked forward to our dinner tonight, our first time back since they re-opened. Our meal was terrible. Our waitress was new and had only been working 4 days so I don't blame her. The prices were high, the food was awful. I had a turkey dinner, my husband had veal parmesan and my daughter had a tuna sandwich. I am so sad at the changes.

We were excited to return after the reopening. Our food and service was great, but our wallet was not so happy. What once was a reasonably priced placed has become extremely overpriced, even compared to increases at other restaurants. For what we got, our bill was absurdly high. $9 for 3 small pancakes and nothing else with a kids meal. Both my kids left still hungry and we had a $75 bill. Unfortunately; they've priced us out.

We have been waiting for The View to reopen for what seems like forever. I happened to come across a post on Facebook yesterday that they were finally open for business. We decided to place an order for take out and we were NOT disappointed. It was definitely worth the wait. They have the BEST Saganaki that I have ever had and it was just as good taking it to go. I had 3 large shopping bags of food for my order and the manager carried the bigger of the 2 bags out to my car to ensure that nothing tipped over or got ruined. Their top notch service has not changed a bit and neither has their FANTASTIC food!!!!!

We are so happy to have The View Restaurant back. It's so clean and new inside. The food was great. Biscuits and Gravy were spot on. I can't wait to go back.

This place was always one of our favorites. It just reopened. Looks a little different on the inside but still the same. The food is changed. A little bit used to be able to get a skirt steak. That was as long as the plate and now it's like really little. Some of the old wait staff is still there so that was a plus. They added gambling to the environment which is a hit or miss for some people. If you're a gambler, it's great. If not, then it means nothing to you. We'll see. I've only been back two times. I'll have to see you know on the other things that they had

Nice size portions. I got a Reuben, the outside was grilled to perfection. Lots of meat. The waitress was very friendly and a great server. Very attentive, made sure we had everything exactly as we ordered. I only have 4 stars for atmosphere because it was so busy and quite noisy. But not really bad.

This was my 1st eating here. I absolutely loved the way Cory, the waitress who took care of me. She paid attention to details. She listened & tried to accommodate me with what I wanted. She was friendly & and attentive. I'm a picky person & pay attention to detail & I have to say I was very impressed with her service. She made my experience here very enjoyable.

First time here since they reopened and the food was just as good as before the fire. The skirt steak was delicious and only came in one size. The coffee was hot and good. The serving were a good size.

Excellent place to dine at. May be a bit expensive for some but they load you up on the actual serving size. Guaranteed to have some leftovers. In addition, the quality of the dishes, especially the saganaki more then makes up for the price.

The skirt steak was delicious and huge . The picture doesn't show that it was actually folded in half to fit on the plate. Well worth the price

My son took me last week and I felt as if nothing had changed. The food and service was great and the only problem was what to order, they had all my favorites. Can’t wait to go back again unfortunately I’ve moved further south so it will be a little longer trip. So hard to find a good dinner restaurant these days. See you soon.

My friends and I went on a Sunday afternoon, 9 of us total. 1st, I'd like to mention four outstanding things about the newly remodeled The View. ITS NOT A BREAKFAST PLACE, IT'S NORMAL FOOD. They didn't complain about us needing separate checks. He let us stay and talk as long as we wanted to. The BEST, he doesn't charge the customer to use a credit card to pay! Bravo, sir! The food was fabulous. I had thick blueberry French toast. It was done perfectly and had plenty of blueberries. I had ice tea with no sugar to drink. This is the 1st place I found to have it all summer. Another great job to the owner! My friend next to me had 1/2 of a Greek chicken, it looked wonderful. Cooked to perfection. Everyone said their food was delicious. The portions are large, he's not holding back. The staff couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The other thing about the View that made it so welcoming to me is the fact that it's so well lit and we had plenty of space. The staff made our day wonderful. Thank you for that! Definitely stop by here for a very enjoyable meal.
