I am very happy that we ended up coming here as the food was delicious. I'm generally someone who sticks with comfort foods but I'm glad that I decided to branch out a bit. The two entrees we ordered were amazing, as was the appetizer and dessert. In addition to great food, the restaurant did a good job of spacing us out in addition to great mask compliance by the staff.

This was my second or third visit and the food was great. I ordered the veggie roll as an appetizer and the basil dish entree. It was very flavorful and a good portion. Next time I probably will not order the veggie rolls because it was too much for me honestly, but I ate it all nevertheless. Next time I’m there, I will snap a few photos.

Really like the pad prik. And our server Maritza was great. Helped make selections and was perfect. Fresh, right amount of spices to perfect flavors

The last couple times we have eaten here the food has not been as good as before but tonight it was the worst. The food has always been a bit too sweet but this time everything was inedible. The beef friend rice was a congealed mushy blob of rice with chewy boiled beef on top. It was absolutely disgusting. The ginger tofu was so salty I couldn’t take more than a few bites. It was like licking pure salt or soy sauce concentrate. Drunken noodles were flavorless and mediocre and the pad Thai tasted was bland. The spring rolls were too dry to swallow. The crab Rangoon was delicious. We absolutely love Thai food but this is the last time we will go here. The service is horrible and the food tastes like it’s made with bottled sauces. The restaurant is nice it’s shame the food is so bad.

Food is absolutely delicious. My biggest caveat is the proportions of both my fish and my alcoholic drink. The drink was way too alcohol forward and barely could taste the rest. I got the "Thipi Noodle" with pork. The crunchy, huge noodle (if you can call it a noodle) kept the perfect crunch with the amount of sauce it came with. However, I feel there was too much of this noodle and not enough pork, pineapple, and vegetables. I also think the dish would've been better if it were plated on a smaller plate. Overall the taste was there, but definitely could see improvement.

Food was OKAY. The brown rice was very bland, the lo mein was flavorless, the shitake mushroom duck was not good at all! The sesame chicken was not good either. Service wasn't bad. Wouldn't go back.

Understand that the restaurant may be short staffed, but my boyfriend and I waited over 15 minutes before anyone greeted us at our table or asked us if we wanted anything to drink. There were only 3 other tables around us and 3 servers/staff walking around so it seemed a bit unusual that no one came over to us. Before a sever finally even came to take our drink order, she cleaned off a whole table behind us first. It took about another 15 minutes to get our waters after that and another 20 to finally get our food. However, our meals were absolutely delicious. Recommend carry out or delivery but service was not great, and I am usually very understanding with places being short staffed but to have staff walking around you and not even saying that they can be with us shortly is terrible.

7/23/22 Took my granddaughter for dinner at Thipi Thai today and I will not be returning. Appetizers tasted like they came from the frozen food section & fried; I don’t recommend. I had shrimp pat Thai. The shrimp had a odor when our waiter brought the food out, shrimp were over cooked, rice noodles were over cooked, veggies didn’t seem fresh and the plate was not very appetizing to look at. My granddaughter and I both like Thai food; we both were so disappointed. I have been to Thipi Thai several times in the last few years and today was my last time!

Tried it for 1st time, service was good. Appetizers and food took long time and everything was over cooked and chewy. Coconut shrimp had now flavor, also took forever to chew.

Tried a few different dishes to share and they were all stellar. Service was superb, despite being short staffed. Will definitely be coming back!

Took my daughter for her birthday lunch! The food was beyond fabulous! The crab rangoon appetizers we so delicious 😋. The sesame chicken entree and the chicken lemongrass entree were also really delicious and filling. While the portions looked small, the plating was very deceiving. This is a must go to restaurant for lunch and dinner.

My husband and I visited Thipi Thai for the first time, for a Saturday lunch. We were seated right away, and service was friendly and quick. It was not very busy at the time we visited. I had the Thipi Noodles, which is pretty much a brothy garlic sauce with beef, broccoli, carrots, pineapple, and wide noodles that are fried crisp. I wish it would have come with a little white rice to (1) make it a little more filling and (2) absorb excess sauce. I apparently have a hole in my lip because I ended up with spots of sauce on my shirt, which left unsightly little oily stains. Having a spoon, rather than a fork, might have helped with that a little… I should have thought to ask. My husband had the Spicy Basil with chicken, and has chilis, vegetables and Thai basil in a spicy garlic sauce. It was very good. We ultimately enjoyed our lunch at Thipi Thai, and would love to come back, if we are back in the LaGrange area.

The food was delicious with ample portions. The prices were quite reasonable and the service was quick, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean and the tables were spaced far enough apart to make dining comfortable. The noise level was such that you could easily carry on a conversation without straining to hear anyone at your table. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Came in shortly before 5pm and was quickly greeted and sat down at the bar, my choice. Quickly greeted and told about the drink deal, two beers for $8 which cannot be beat! I ordered the pad-see-ew which is my favorite Thai dish and asked for some heat, which they accommodated to and did not disappoint! Highly recommend

Mediocre and bland Thai food. I am an avid Thai food consumer and this was the worst I have had in a long time. The Tom Kha was flavorless and the fried rice my colleague ordered tasted as if they didn’t add spices. My basil chicken was okay but not great. Do not come to this overpriced and mediocre place.

The food is high quality served hot and fresh but when can we sit in the nice section again? I feel like since Covid, we've been seated in the lunch section by the windows.

Place was nicely decorated and service was decent. The place wasn't busy and it took a long time for us to get service. The food was ok and overpriced, in my opinion Benjarong in Westchester has better food and service. Their appetizers were mediocre. This place was just not that great in my opinion

Best Thai food I have ever had. I have come here many times and have never been disappointed. The panang curry, green curry, pad Thai, and pad se ew are all delicious. The interior is also beautiful. Would highly recommend!

LaGrange just can't stop serving up deliciousness, and that includes Thai food. Everything from the mango tofu appetizers to the coconut bean cube entree to the coffee chocolate ice cream cake was dilectible. The only complaint we had was that the hot sake was like warm, and yet still tasty.

The service was very slow because they were super short staffed. The server was polite but overwhelmed. The food tasted great though. A couple hours after eating I came down with terrible food poisoning. Unmistakable. My husband did not as he had something different. I had the veggie pad woonsen. Something that seemed pretty safe and did taste good. Not sure if it was the bean sprouts, or the veggies but something definitely got me. Since they are so short staffed maybe the kitchen was not clean and the veggies were used even if they were old or recalled? Violently ill… while on vacation no less. try cida Thai or fine Thai instead, save yourself!

Didn't know when I made a reservation that they had moved until we showed up. Food was good, took a while for a glass of ice and had asked about it a few times. We ordered an appetizer of spring rolls and it came to our table and then someone came by and took it and didn't say anything. Besides those, good was good. Have been here previously at other location.

This was not the best experience from the start, on a Monday. We had to request a server to receive water and a beverage. It was very apparent that carry out orders took priority over dine in customers. The staff continually apologized to both carry out drivers and dine in customers. The owners and a competent restaurant manager need to be present, and it seems that neither were present on this evening. The food was excellent, the total experience was a failure. Most likely will not return.
